I like the artstyle, but it's too dark.
Looks interesting, but could only play in a Windows VM, since I'm a Mac user. A Mac Version would be nice for better performance and visuals.
the audio is relaxing, matches with the artstyle. I'm not too fond of clickers, but this is an exception.
This game got the graphics, mood, and audio on check. And this is another game from LD44 with the life drain concept. Could use a bit of polishing and post-processing. But overall, great submission, specially for the mood
The screen is extremely grey for me - I end up dying almost immediately to something I can't see.
The gameplay was a little dark and I found myself spending more respawning than playing. In the time I was able to stay alive longer than five seconds it appeared that killing the orcs/trolls didn't refill enough ammo to continue playing after killing one or two. If you can increase the lighting and remove those sphere obstacles let me know so I can give it another shot!
Thanks for rating our game!
Fairly dark; try adding areas of white to add in some contast.
The gray haze over the screen made it a little hard to play, I made it to the house though! although, not entirely sure what the end goal is :P.
Thanks for all the great feedback, I'll try and decrease the effect and make it a bit brighter, thanks for playing!
haha, I didn't get @woofdog99 comment. I found the audio not relaxing at all! But I mean that in a good way, the slashing sound makes it into a kind of horror game. It took some time to get the hang of it. The grey haze didn't bother me (maybe my monitor has a lighter setting). I like this game!
really cool game!! the only thing that i would suggest is to make the UI clearer, I had to play about 7 times to see that my bullets was draining my life (i died from nowhere, and was really confused, then i saw the ui), the other thing i would suggest as well is to count how much orcs you killed, so you encourages the player to shot
Thanks for all of the feedback. Yeah, post-processing is usually hit or miss(Often miss), for me. Some of it probably does come down to monitor brightness and other similar factors as another user mentioned, but we'll try to make the lighting and brightness levels much better later on.
Hey friend- you did a great job working on this project.
I would definitely recommend adding some more screenshots and info to the LDJam page- with it being black it really loves us wondering what this project is prior to downloading.
Great work and good luck on the next jam! :)
Sometimes I died without sound and I don't understand what happened.
