Hehe, I also did a puzzle game but yours have music.. I'm jealous!
It looks like working at a software company cost you 25$ :(. I wish there was some way to understand how its my happiness or some other factors besides time and money. Still an accurate reflection of a software engineer life :)
I had to remove the dust from my old xbox controller but I'm glad I did. The mechanics are good but I wish there was keyboard/mouse support. I like how the game balance itself by upgrading the ship with less life left, there is a point in late game though where it gets so hard that I insta died :P.
I love the audio and and great work with the mechanics and gameplay, definitely inspired in smash :D
OMG, 10HP to go to a date.. Just like real live. Good game, I really like it.
Pretty challenging game! I wish there was an extra mechanic to be able to purchase with your live, then it would have followed the theme much better.
It was not obvious the guys would kill them-self after a while, can use use better ux/ui but I like the dark concept.
@jcmonkey thanks for your feedback! I actually love the idea of mixing deck building with strategy games, I will take a look on how this would work.
I definitely wanted to create a smart system to have different types of bacteria and white cells, also a path-finding mechanics so the TCells would hunt the bacteria/virus that they were thought to fight (thanks to the communication of B-cells that were fired by macrophages when they die)... But I didn't had the time to do all that so T-Cells just move randomly to any available cell :P
@antti-haavikko Thanks for the feedback! Yes adding tooltips crossed my mind but I prioritized due time constrains. I also wanted to fixup the UI but left it like that to focus on other aspects (like adding that extra level or sound effects :P).
The reason there are multiple fonts its because the tutorial, splash and play buttons were made with photoshop and exported as an image, where the rest are the unity default text mesh pro font :|. For next ludum dare I will make sure to choose a font and stick with it at the very beginning.
PD: yup, the first 3 levels they were basically made as a tutorial (and also I used them as "unit tests" for development). Only the last level really counts.
My browser crashes for a few seconds when I try to play online and then It displays a "WebGL context lost, please reload the page".
I'm Windows 10 with google chrome.
Very good usage of 2d assets scale to give deep perspective. Nice sound effects and overall mechanics. I feel making so shooting would cost you life (instead of just missing the shoot) and score would have fit better with the theme.
I love the game and nice usage of 3d assets. My only feedback its that it seems there is no reward of keeping drawing cards after you got a nice weapon. With time I'm sure you can add some new mechanics to reward choosing using life for more abilities.
Nice! But you should clearly die when you try to buy the sunglasses for 50 pedals :P.
Ok little game, I can see that you like blackthornprod's videos :)
Very good use of the theme, very challenging, good particles effect and perfect physics and controls. The only take is the music is more annoying than useful. Nice job!
