Nice! The only thing I struggled with was the shop, I couldn't seem to close it. Other than that it was a fun!

Nice game, sounds good, looks good, but the upgrade menu is pain to navigate... I have no idea how to do it i just click randomly and hope for the best
Really good graphics and sound! I understand the time limitations are rough and it looks like that got the best of the menu system. I like it!
Looks good, plays good, pretty good! Cursor bug is alright when you know about it before playing, but I'd say it would be worth fixing and making another post deadline upload, if you mark it as separate it is pretty fair. More people coming to play
Back to the game.. I would appreciate some enemy slaughter effect, even single sprite when it is defeated would make it alive and more fun to smash them
Man, I am enjoying this game, but the shop menu, I can't close it, but it was just getting fun to play. But good graphics, good audio, but only problem is shop, congrats Man!
Looked good the panel sometimes got stuck and I died because the game didn't pause and I couldn't exit out but I liked the graphics and sounds so great jobs. If you have time check out my game too :v:
Had to turn my volume down for this one, ahah! It was fun though, and it's pretty solid, no apparent bugs, the menus weren't very responsive sometimes, however!
Very fun! Would have liked the campfire to have health to add a bit more challenge because using the pistol and sprinting all over the place made the game pretty easy and as someone smarter than me once said "Given the chance players will suck the fun right out of a game(to win)"(May not be exact but that is from Mark Brown(Game Maker's Toolkit)) Would have been interesting to have to guard the campfire since it like has you're dinner or something like that. I also had issues with the menu but it was only mildly annoying.
@caveman54 I was planning to do that, but I had no time left. When the rating time is over I will update it.
very fun and fast paced. I like the artwork and shooting. I did however get several bugs relating to the upgrade menu, either it staying after the end of the game or it persisting when not at the camp fire. Other than the bugs though its a good prototype.
I liked that there were multiple enemy types and different weapons. I also enjoyed the artwork. The part that annoyed me the most was arbitrary borders in the world, so I didn't exactly know the level bounds. Besides that I had a pretty good time playing this.
The graphics of this game look really cute! One thing I would have enjoyed would be an ingame tutorial and maybe a short explanation. Another thing that would be cool is to have more damage in the beginning to have a more "hero" like feeling that just runs over the enemies. But this is just a suggestion. Other than that, very nice game.
Very fun. I liked the gameplay and the graphics. One thing that I noticed was that the buttons are a bit offset in the HTML version. You have to click a bit lower than the buttons to use them. But otherwise, great work! :D
I liked the game, however when I tried to leave the menu it didn't work.
Overall a pretty fun little top-down shooter. The graphics is pretty good, and fits well to the game idea. The sounds is okay, but there are some noise in the gun sound.
Pretty fun! It has nice graphics that give a feeling of being out in the woods, and the dark thick outlines on the enemies help because otherwise you would have a problem of green zombies on green trees, but with your art style this was not a problem.
I did feel like there weren't that many decisions to make during the combat. I just held the fire button down forever. The movement speed difference between different weapons was a very interesting idea, but for a couple of reasons it didn't engage me. First, I didn't even realize I could switch weapons for like 3 waves. Second, it was pretty easy to just use the fast-move weapon and kite huge groups of them while shooting forever and not thinking about tactics. So why do anything else?
Eventually I decided to make things spicy by trading myself down to 1% health, and then as soon as I used a slow weapon it got GAME OVER real quick.
I think you have a nice core of the right features here, with movement, aiming, weapon switching, an upgrade system, several sorts of enemies, a menu interaction, waves. It's a lot of features to accomplish in a compo!
So overall there was a lot, and all it felt pretty good. But there was something a little bit lacking in the core game interaction of move/shoot that left me on autopilot.
Especially if this is your first entry, really nicely done! Look forward to seeing what else you come up with.
@pkenney Thanks for the amazing feedback. I didn't have much time for it(obviously :D). I wanted to make more gameplay features. Now, when the rating time is over, I can try to work on it more.
