I love this game. It didn't fit the theme, but it's still a great game with a really unique mechanic. One improvement you could make is that when you click reset, it resets everything, not just the positions of the cursors and the coins. Great job! :thumbsup:

As annoying as it is, I really love this game. It's very unique and frustratingly funny. I found the auto-save thing hilariously unexpected. I wouldn't have gotten passed the 1000 .log files without looking at main.go. That challenge seemed a bit unfairly tedious, even after combining them into one file and removing the "loading image 'nutshell/computer" text and scrolling through it just because of how massive the one text file was, but other than that, all of the puzzles were very clever and funny. It does fit the theme very well. I spent an hour of my life to "buy" a <5 minute game, but it was worth it. You are evil, this game is evil, but great job!

This was such a fun puzzle/adventure with so many different paths for a game made in just 24 hours. The graphics are nice and create a really ambient mood combined with the audio. As far as gameplay goes, this was awesome. I definitely had to "cheat" a bit, but I still had a lot of fun playing it. Amazing work!
Also, the "Big Woof" ending where you pet the stairwell was great lol. :D

I like the graphics and the controls are smooth. The gameplay can be a bit repetitive and I get an error when buying the freeze item when there are no enemies, which isn't much of a problem. Really unique and fun game! The gameplay is addicting, and the art is really nice. It could use a bit more audio, but considering the time constraint, I wouldn't expect anything more. Great work, its really well done, and the effort you put into it shows.

Great Job! It's unique, fun, and challenging. Definitely 5 stars innovation. I was taken a bit off guard by the voice controls tbh. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I clicked start like 15 times before I read "say start" lol. I'm surprised by how responsive the voice recognition was, though. I wasn't expecting it to work very well, but it heard me more times than not. The voice acting was also a really nice touch. I had a lot of fun playing it.

@gonutz There should be a menu where you can buy hats and stilts, but I screwed something up with the aspect ratio/resolution :face_palm: , so I just fixed it, sorry about that. You will still need to alt-f4 to exit tho.
@tddawson, Thanks for the feedback! Although I had trouble with the theme, I'm just happy I managed to make and finish something by the deadline, even if it wasn't entirely what I'd planned. I definitely would've liked to include some if the higher you are the harder you fall theme into the game as well, but I'm pretty happy with what I made considering the time constraints. Anyway, I'm really glad you liked it. :D
@wesley-vong Try to use fullscreen if you haven't already. That seems to work. You can probably tell that when it comes to WebGL and HTML, I'm kind of clueless. I think I fixed it tho.

@microwerx I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D It's only the purchase for the suit that triggers the "bad" ending, so you can buy as many as you want if you're patient enough. Idk why you would, but you can.
@microwerx I had hoped the ending would clarify a bit of the story because there was no dialogue or text. I'm glad it did. I had planned for the last "scene", after she's buried, to show that you're alone and that your kids left, but it wasn't too obvious, so I made then ending text screen to clear it up a bit.
@wiredoverload Thanks for your feedback. I definitely could've and should've added a lot of simple things that would've improved the gameplay a lot. Now that it's over, I've realized just how much more I could've added. Regardless of how it turned out, I've learned a lot from this game jam that will help me improve in future game jams.
@jjjjason Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it from an artistic viewpoint. The menu covering up the family was intentional. I wanted it to emphasize that you had to choose either wealth or family, you couldn't have both. I'm glad you noticed that. :D
@lubaka Thanks for the review. I forgot about restart or quit buttons, probably because I'd finished the current endings so close to the deadline. Had I not wasted so much time in the beginning of the jam, I would've added upgrades to the factory, fixed the UI, and attempted to make audio that wasn't annoying (although I'm not too great at that tbh). The hats were just supposed to be more material possessions, so I should've spent more time making upgrades to the factory rather than making the hat system.

Very fun. I liked the gameplay and the graphics. One thing that I noticed was that the buttons are a bit offset in the HTML version. You have to click a bit lower than the buttons to use them. But otherwise, great work! :D
I really liked the game! It's really well made. I thought the "Okay Smartass..." comment was really funny.
I still can't figure out how to get the secret ending. It just says I unlocked it, and it says, "Secret True Ending" at the bottom of the screen, but nothing actually happens.
Great job! It does a good job of showing off the mechanics and acting as a sort of demo. It sets up a solid foundation for a larger game. I can tell a lot of work went into the mechanics, art, and audio. It is a bit confusing at first, so I'd recommend a bit of explanation and possibly simpler controls, but considering a the time limit, its really well made.
Fun game. I liked the art and the SFX. I noticed that the more powerups you have, the harder it is to win. It was too easy to win without them, too. This probably means the initial amount of time is too much, and the price of powerups is also too high. Overall, it's a fun game, but the balance just needs to be tweaked a bit. Great job!

This is absolutely terrific! **:D** I loved it! You blended together two completely different game styles to create something amazing and nailed the humor/mood parts. idk about any criticisms other than maybe the gun could feel a bit more impactful to match the intense mood of the creepy shadow monsters. The graphics and audio were really well done and the gameplay was super engaging. Great job!

I think the mixer was a bit buggy. I was able to make salt and fire at first, but then after a few levels it looked empty but wouldn't let me put anything on it. Other than that, it was pretty fun. The graphics were nice and concept was cool. Nice job! :D
