This game has great graphics and audio. However... I don't know if im just horrible or what, but I died 4 times trying to get past the tutorial and then instantly died. This game badly needs a Crypt of the Necro-Dancer type meter at the bottom telling you when the beats are going to happen, as I never really had a clue what was supposed to happen when. Also, even tho the music is great, I didn't feel like the drums were loud or punchy enough to really take the roll of that meter thingy I was talking about.

Overall, quite enjoyable. I love the intro. The idea is interesting too. As others have mentioned, it's quite RNG heavy. I think one easier way to make the gameplay more engaging would be to decrease the lasers' time from lock on to fire. I often felt like I was protecting the baby, but the laser then took a while to fire, so i'd get blocked by a wall or something and then the laser would fire as soon as I wasn't protecting the baby. Overall, quite fun though.

Very nice game! The gameplay was simple enough to pick up but interesting enough to keep me engaged. The art style worked out quite well. I'd be intersted to see how more mechanics would change this game up and make it more interesting long-term.

This is an excellent jam game. The gameplay is quite unique. It feels like there are actual choices that the player can make, and making the wrong choice kills you and making the right choice makes something blow up. I think the symbols could have been explained much better, but I figured them out eventually. The visual style is interesting, and does its job well. Overall, quite nice work here.

Fun game, pretty good music. I think perhaps being able to hold multiple resource cannisters at a time could incentivise taking risks or something... IDK. Overall, quite a good time.

Art and parallax are great. The controls feel quite clunky. I think more feedback in general on when you save somebody (similar to when somebody dies) could help. What's here feels quite visually polished though. Good work!

Pretty fun stuff. I always like jam games that keep it simple and don't overload the player with info. I think that the pistol could use some feedback when you shoot, like a bullet hole or and a sound effect.

Funny writing. I wish there were more choices to be made. I think there are some different outcomes based on how much you feed the plant, but perhaps some more complexity could have made it more game-ey. Congrats on your first jam though, and I hope you do more in the future.
