fun game, piggy taking drugs was a super cool effect, good job :)
I liked the menu graphics a lot and the music also, so moody! At some point I caught something that produced a great psychedelic effect :) nice!
A bit weird game, but it is also pretty fun to play. Both the music and graphics is pretty good. Overall a good LD game. Well done.
I tried to play the online version but it said "this website is sleeping"?
I didn't really know how to play, how the game played, or what I was meant to be doing. Graphics were nice though, and I liked the mushroom effect.
The mushroom effect is cool! I really enjoyed the graphics.
I like the graphics, but the gameplay is not so entertaining. I think a multiplayer mode where one player is the pig and the other controls the "hunters" would be nice.
very unique style, creates a great atmoshpere!
- the walls are very difficult to distinguish from the floors visually - the wall collision is very finnicky and difficult to figure out - the hammers have a weird attack and aggro range. I couldn't really figure out how you are supposed to work around them
Overall it's a nice try but it's very difficult to figure out how the final gameplay is supposed to work.
your html page is sleeping ..
Has a Hotline Miami vibe to it, especially with those mushrooms! I enjoyed my time with it. Maybe you could have a way for the coins collected to do something to the gameplay? I noticed that getting to the end without getting all the coins was just as viable a strategy, so maybe find a way to make getting the coins a bonus.
Just a suggestion though, well done nonetheless.
I really like the graphics, very cute. The music was also good, fit well with the art style. The gameplay seemed interesting, but it was tough to figure out how to play.
Here are some tips for improvement:
- Some instructions of how to play, at least basic controls. - I'd reduce the running speed of the player and the enemies a bit. - Sound effects would be really nice, esp for picking up and shooting coins, and when enemies attack. - Adjust the colliders for some of the sprites so you can run a bit behind or in front of them, for example you don't wanna collide with the TV's antennas. - On the windows download version I had an issue with clicking the play button, I'm not sure if it took a long time to load(shouldn't at that size) or if I had to click at a very specific point on the play button.
Website is sleeping :/
"Website owners can wake website from sleep in members area"
Website is sleeping for me as well, so i downloaded the game.
It is a fun game to play and i really like the music it sets a good mood in my opinion. I also liked the mushroom effect.
I would however make the hitbox of the hammers a bit smaller at least for me it looked like i was pretty far away from one and he still managed to smash me. I did also feel like the start page was a bit unresponsive (it might just be that you need some button feedback to show that the click registered) but i needed to push the start button multiple times before it actually started
One other thing i can advice, when you allow fullscreen please also add a way to close the game without having to use alt + f4.
All by all a cool entry
It would be nice if you explain the controls and how to play the game. **Use spacebar to drop coins.** After dropping a coin, the hammers move towards it. However if you're close to the coin they will still kill you. The art and music was good. Though it was very difficult to get past the enemies, because all of the enemies of the entire level come when you drop a coin. The website with the webplayer is also a sleep.
The idea is really cool, and the mechanics are pretty well done overall. I like the shroom effect, though I did not understand what it was for. I did not find the attack animation of the hammers that convincing, it just looks like they're spinning out of control. Their AI also seems to be very unforgiving for level 1 enemies.
I found a bug where if you squish yourself into the first bookshelf while you're getting attacked, instead of dying you are teleported into this very strange place with no walls: Screenshot_26.png
I also miss a pause menu / quit button
Other than that, nice work!
Could really do with some tutorial text on this one. Also, some kind of indicator for where I'm going would be great. Once I (eventually) figured out how the whole dropping coins as a distraction thing worked it was pretty fun, I did get frustrated on the second floor when I couldn't figure out where to go and the stairs that were the end of level 1 were inaccessible because of a locked door. I looked around for a key for a while and just stumbled into the win zone I guess? First level was cool though with some neat design that made good use of your stealth gameplay.
It was really fun to play, good work! Not as easy as i thought!
The web version does not seem to work currently... I will come back later :D
Web version doesn't seem to work but I played the windows version which worked fine. Really nice work on the pixelart and animations for this one. Quite hard but fun! Love the piggy and the logo!
Good musics
That was certainly an interesting experience! Music was fun. Hit boxes on furniture were kinda weird to get around sometimes and the coin attack was a bit confusing and didn't seem to do anything. The mushroom effect was awesome if maybe a bit intense. Good job!
I like the grahics and the pig, (I love pigs) and the game is harder than it appears. It would be great is you could explain how exactly it is played.
