Wow, that was amazing! The concept is brilliant. The pixel art and environment is perfect.

I like how you played around with the game idea. Each level feels unique. Well done!

The only thing which is sad, is that I already played through it... Would love to see more of it!

Awesome work! That was fun, I beat it! it felt really good, I love the retro graphics and aesthetic. I wish I could make it go fullscreen, that also made it difficult to play at times when I clicked outside the window. Great level design. It felt like a really good progression and adding level names helped give it some context. Gameplay was challenging but very beatable. One small complaint is that the ui overlaps the gameplay and confused me a bit at first. The game length was perfect. Congrats, thanks for making this one!

Just beat it, I liked the soundtrack and the gameplay did well focusing on its primary mechanic. It was very polished for a game jam. The game works fine in wine for any Linux users.

Level 9 felt a bit out of place in terms of difficulty curve, and still feels like the hardest level, but maybe I missed something.

This game is fantastic! I especially liked the music, I think it fit with the graphic style perfectly. I also really loved the level design, and how each level had its own little unique gameplay challenge.

Nice level design and great adaptation of the theme! There's literally nothing to criticize about it ;)

abraxas-interactive 2019-04-30 22:17

Amazing job! The music is STELLAR, and the art style / gameplay is wicked cool. Great mechanic / gameplay loop. Add more levels ;)

thenerdster 2019-04-30 22:45

Music was perfect, controls were great, overall nice work! This is one of my favorites so far.

Could not run the mac version :( Says the file is damaged

datagreed 2019-05-03 18:36

Could you please re-upload it?

repine 2019-05-04 00:13

@datagreed ~~Hey, sorry for the delay! I think I finally found the reason for my issues creating a mac build, and I uploaded a new build to the itch page. Try re-downloading the mac version from itch, and let me know. Thanks for showing interest in my game!~~

Edit: See comment below

@datagreed Did some more digging, and it seems like this is a common issue when downloading gamemaker games onto Mac OSX - see https://help.yoyogames.com/hc/en-us/articles/216753558-My-app-won-t-open-when-downloaded-from-the-internet

To fix this, you will have to open the terminal, navigate to the folder in which you saved BANKBURNER.app, and type the following into the terminal: `xattr -d com.apple.quarantine BANKBURNER.app` Then you should be able to run the game.

Thanks for showing interest in my game!

dxk2294 2019-05-04 07:26

This was amazing! Really polished, tons of fun, and fits the theme well. Awesome job!

stockyspark 2019-05-04 09:00

Liked the music and the flow of the game! Although, some levels were too easy and some too complicated.

datagreed 2019-05-05 11:13

@repine that did it, thanks!

Awesome game! Nice mechanic with the view radius. It's a good idea to make ammo deplatable, so you cannot spray'n'pray. Got stuck on run level :D

mika-la-grand 2019-05-22 14:34

I made it to level 19: keep pushing through. Though there seemed to be multiple level 16's and level 19's. I also found level 9 to be quite difficult compared to the other levels.

The most significant activity before choosing an online gambling club is to ensure that it is solid and reliable. You can check the [spam] website position, authorizing, past record, and notoriety in the betting business to learn whether it is believable or not. This website is the best resource of online casino.

Quite an interesting idea, but for all the accounting, you still need email marketing software. If so, then I can recommend that you familiarize yourself with this site https://apiway.ai/categories/email-marketing . It has everything you need to automate some of the processes that you used to do manually.

I wonder if Angular is used in the development of such games? I'm also planning to do something similar here, and I'm thinking about what kind of developers I need for this....

2022-03-29 22:28

Some games use Angular. But it is mainly used for websites, software and mobile applications. It all depends on what exactly, and with what functionality you want to develop. In general, if you want to know more information about this, then you should just consult with Angular developers, from this resource https://devoxsoftware.com/technology/angular-development-company/ . They will be able to provide you with experienced specialists who will help you realize your project.
