That was really hard. It was confusing trying to figure out how to open the buy menu though.

Pretty fun and challenging. The items cost was too much and I wasn't able to unlock anything till level 7 after buying armor in level 1. I liked how the legs rotated based on input, it was a nice touch and felt smooth. Great font too! You should be proud of this submission :) Hope you enjoyed your first Ludum Dare
Love the graphics and feel. Very snappy and smooth.
enemies were pretty odd to interact with and I agree the movement was stiff. The audio was great though!
I can't seem to figure out how reloading works but if you drop the weapon and pick it up your ammo resets so thats how I had to play. It is a fun game and reminds me of a lot of classics. Definitely has potential.
