Nice game, i like the concept, the boss pattern are really cool. it's really look like a mmo raid with bad player ^^

Good idea, nice graphics, overall very very nice
I cannot get dwarf back after pull and bubble on him - and got killed by meteor with him =(

I had a lot of fun playing this. Very nice gameplay, a good execution on a fun concept. Was wiped out twice but I will play again

I've never played an old-school MMO, so for me this was a new experience (supporting a bunch of dumb tanks).

At first I thought the party members weren't that stupid as they seemed to do a good enough job at hacking away, but in the end they sure showed their true colours. Standing around not dodging clearly telegraphed attacks! Bloody 'ell, do I have to do all the work here! Surely real people aren't that dense?

Enjoyed the exercise. Took me two party wipes, third time's the charm it seems and there's an infinite amount of dwarves just waiting to try their axe at the boss monster around the corner, so nothing of value lost there.

One little suggestion: Using right mouse click to move could work better than the current control scheme as now you need to reposition your left hand from the spell hotkeys to the movement keys in those few instances where movement is required. Not a big problem this, though.

Challenging and funny to boot. Good work!

This game has a ton of potential. Definitely a favorite of mine this time around.

Nice! This was really fun, especially near the end with the meteors and fire puddles all over the place. Sound design, boss design, and graphics are all excellent. I loved the extra details like the chat messages, and I really think you should expand on this, there's so much potential in the idea of teaming up with incompetent AIs.

The only complaint I have is that the red triangle indicating the attacked dwarf was sometimes hard to see, so I had three dwarves die to the instant-death attack before I realized I needed to focus on that indicator. I also wish it were a little more challenging, since once you figure out what each attack does it's fairly easy to dodge/mitigate, and the boss essentially uses one attack at a time.

Overall, really nice job! I had a ton of fun with this.

This entry is really good, the gameplay was very interesting and well done.

THIS IS AMAZING!!! I really like the comments and this is so reminiscent of games I have played! superb work!

So funny :) really great idea! going to send this to some friends who have had this EXACT experience in WoW

Brilliant game, gave me flashbacks to healing with my priest in TBC and WotLK. I've always thought an mmo boss fight could make an interesting LD game, glad you executed it so well. Could have been interesting to add mana management to the mechanics as well.

This is a lot of fun! It's also very nicely polished. Great job.

Brought back some terrible WoW memories. Thanks! Nice concept, got pretty difficult very suddenly!

jacktheogre 2016-12-15 13:49

That is such a clever concept! I like it a lot! The graphics are very attractive yet so simple, the sounds and music fit in just perfectly. I really like those jokes they are actually so relatable lmao xD Well earned 5 stars, keep it up!

I've play several MMOs and I've never done any healing in them so I like how this gives you a taste of what its like!

Reading through some of the other comments I see that there is an indicator that lets you know which dwarf the boss is going to attack. I can say I never saw them myself, could be too small could be my old eyes HA!

This was a well put together game and I really enjoyed playing it!

I usually main a healer, but haven't had many chances to do so after quitting WoW some years back so this was right up my alley! Beat it on my first try (sadly with one dwarf dead and resurrection on CD because it started to lag pretty badly near the end for some reason).

Loved the toolkit I had as the healer and also the fact that I wasn't just passively healing but could also position myself etc. Good aesthetic and even better gameplay, I really want more (I have "A Healer only Lives Twice" wishlisted on Steam, but still, there aren't too many "healing management" games around).

There's so much more to do with the idea: different classes (both for the healer and the other party), different encounters, different loot..! Maybe you could even make it so that some people could play as DPS and some as tanks without turning it into a fully fledged MMO ;). Would be a fun CO-OP game. Not that those ideas are feasible for a Ludum Dare entry, but the potential is there if you decide to keep working on this!

Also was somewhat disappointed that the chest didn't open in the end, revealing the epic loot that was talked about in the ending text.

Too many stressful flashbacks. That being said I really liked this game. It was *just* stressful enough to be fun and definitely challenging. I really wish those dumb fighters knew what they were doing.

mementogames 2016-12-17 22:30

Superb entry! I loved it!
Keep working on it and make it mobile.

Reading description I didn't expected this awesome game :)
Nice art, music, sfx and gameplay overall

mirta000 2016-12-26 20:32

very well executed game. Gets pretty hard when the boss starts executing your dwarves left and right >_<

dssiege11 2016-12-28 21:28

Really original game! Quite challenging too. Haven't managed to kill the monster yet ^^' I'll keep trying!
