Great game! The sounds and effects keeps the mood on. You get a deceitful calm playing it, you need to keep an eye on the oxygen meter. One of the best games I played so far. Good job!

it reminds me of the ninja turtle water level the game on nintendo !! great game ;!! GG
Once you get to the third level it gets difficult but it's fantastic. Good level design and I love the touch of the radars working differently. Not as difficult as my first experience with aquatic survival horror, Ecco the Dolphin :dolphin:
I loved how the game looked, it really sets a weridly relaxing mood considering you're about to drown but I thought that was analogous to how when youre underwater things dont seem as immediate. Overall i really liked how cohesive the aesthetics were, it really feels like you planned it out well!
Some nice graphics and rather atmospheric sound design, but could maybe use an item pickup sound or something. Radar is rather cool. Definitely enjoyed it.
Amazing game, its very a very calm game but you have to watch your oxygen level all the time. The radars are a great help, and the simple sound effects add to the effect. Good job!
Really nice graphic style! A nice way to create pressure with the oxygen meter.
Some improvement ideas for the future: Hitboxes for negative consequences should be small. (Now the walls were a bit annoying as their hit boxes felt a bit too large).
It is important to get acceleration&deceleration correct for the Player character movement. Now changing directions feels a bit too instantenious.
Thanks for the game!
@tatuvasara ,Thanks for the feeback,i agree with the hitboxes i literally tried fixes them at the very last moment but beacuse of the limited time and 3 levels to cover i was not able to do it fully but i could have worked on the placement of the tilemaps.
@palsina while brainstorming i literally watched gameplay of eco the dolphin on genesis, there were not a lot of reference when it comes to underwater games still took some inspiration from super metroid, tmnt(nes) & ofcourse eco the dolphin,Im glad you liked it,thanks for the feedback.
@mccheesebob i was going to do that but sadly i had to choose between level design and other things because of the limited time,Thanks for your feedback & trying out my game
@ryan-jung im glad you got the theme that was my intention behind this game, thanks for trying out the game.
Loving the simple two toned look and feel. I played through the all three levels. The first two levels weren't very challenging but all three had me in a relaxing chill-out exploring mood, and I normally dislike underwater games / levels.
Great concept and a whole lot of fun. I did notice some weirdness in the controls while playing it though. Seems like if I was moving sideways it would sometimes not register up or down until I let off the sideways key. Otherwise, it played very well, and the more sluggish response is fitting for an underwater swimming game.
Loving the one bit graphics! The sound effects felt right! Nice Work!
Great game with good sfx and and idea. The graphics were minimalistic and had a nice touch, and the permanent sound of water being around you felt kind of terrifying after some time even though it felt the complete opposite at the beginning of the game so that turned out pretty well - I believe this was done intentionally  The controls felt a bit weird but I got used to it after the first two levels.
Good entry
Nice but some bugs: when I die and retry, there is no key anymore.
A really liked the game. The underwater sound created a good atmosphere, although some music and sound effects for pickups would be nice. The movement felt a little clunky but I guess it's hard to move underwater. The transitions and level design are excellent and the radar mechanic was a good idea. Good job!
Nice vibe, but I can't beat the first level. There's just not enough oxygen to make it from the key to the gate. Also, they disappears when I retry the level.
@dmars @juice-lizard ,Oh i noticed there is a bug where key disappears forever sorry, but in 3rd level key doesn't disappear it changes its position you have to relocate,it would have been very easy & boring if the key remains at the same location also then sonar becomes useless after the first attempt,so you have to use sonar to track down the key again
interesting concept, I like it. exploring an underwater world with a time limit is a great tense setting. the pixel art for the character and world is nice as well! the movement feel needs some work--getting past obstacles feels clumsy and the input seems to be mutually exclusive. some inertia here might be nice. maybe play off floating/diving of scuba IRL, i.e. the more air you have in your tank, the more you float. since movement is the core mechanic here, further exploration of that seems like it would work well for you. good work!
Nice graphics and gameplay concept! Movement felt bit clunky but overall well done!
nice! the controls felt a bit unresponsive and weird, iterating on those could make it into a really cool game. Also some more memorable props would help with navigation and remembering layout of the space.
Getting awful flashbacks of the water level in TMNT, the only thing missing is electric seaweed :p Regardless, I finished and liked it! I liked the art style and music, really sets the mood. I noticed my health dropped to -5 and I could keep going though.
Solid entry!
The idea of underwater exploration is quite interesting, the fear of getting asphyxiated could be quite immersive if you portray it through breath and heartbeat.
I think it could be a bit easier to swim around if your character would immediately take upwards position if you swim up, many times got electrocuted due to me being too wide and unable to stand up
Also, while there is a plenty of air on the level, it's very pressing you into going to the exit, so any exploration you do is involuntary, which is not as nice as one'd like.
And maybe, pixel resolution of the main character and the surrounding would look more authentic if they would be the same (currently the character is more detailed and the surroundings are more blocky, and that does not fit so well). But I like your color scheme and style overall.
Keep it up!
Nice game! the art style is unique and it looks great, and I love how the UI design is a part of the enviornemt, honestly the whole game is great, it's just that the third level is a bit too difficult and long, I tried to complete it 2 times but I died both times sadly, but overall I like how the game turned out :D
