Nice job, the walking up scene must have taken awhile, I kinda wished i could have just clicked on the cheat sheet instead of having to type it in.
Also I found a way to put the game in a jar instead of using the whole .bat file and JDK and all. Just compile the game in a runnable jar, and put the resources next to the actual jar instead of in the jar. You might wanna fix that since not alot of people have JDK.
The walk part takes too long time
@pianoman373 thanks for the feedback. I'll see about putting the files in a jar.
@UrbanHelsing Ha ha, yeah, it is annoyingly long. But I wanted it to be realistic.

Annoying having to type things, also it would have been nice for a summery of each verse
Wevel: Yeah, I wish I had enough time to do something like that. This was my first time ever using edit boxes in Java to let the user type in text, actually. I probably could have made it better if I knew more. Thanks for the reply.
Super game! I love it, thanks ;)
@Langouste Thank you! I'm glad you like it!
The animation up front took a while, and I couldn't figure out how to answer the purgatory thing; I couldn't find any mention of it in the verses listed...

It took the Christian guy a while to get to me. The graphics were pretty decent, sound next time? It is rather difficult without a bible though ;)
It's great to see a game based around Christian faith and the Bible, because that's difficult to do. I found myself putting forward arguments that I didn't necessarily agree with, but looking for answers in the Bible is a great principle, and having to look up the passages outside the game makes people think about the issues and the interpretation.
amras0000: Oh, I mistyped 1 Corinthians 3:15. It's supposed to be 1 Corinthians 3:10-15.
Jajo: Heh heh, sorry about that. I think it works better needing a Bible to play, but it does limit who can play sometimes. Fortunately, I think more people own Bibles than any other book in the world. And sound would be cool. I just have to figure out how to do it in Java.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the idea.

Great idea and I liked the need to seek answers outside the game (those who don't have a Bible can surely use the internet). It's a really interesting and thought-provoking approach.
I agree with some of the other players that it would have been nice to click on the links rather than type but that's a minor quibble.
Very interesting game! I don't think I've seen anyone else use this idea for the theme. I kind of liked typing things in, made the experience more tactile. Good job!
Panurge: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
Snicklodocus: Thank you! I was hoping it would be different from the other games in the competition.
Linux please?
@Red_Fan games if you can tell me how to do what you want, I will. But it is Java so it technically should work with Linux without me doing anything extra.

As someone unfamiliar with Bible verses, I found this game far too opaque. This is a neat idea, one I'd be interested in seeing again if it were fleshed out.
