LD30 — Connected Worlds

TechnoTumor by suve 2014-08-28T10:08:00

I don't know if this is because I have a high-dpi laptop monitor, but the circles weren't being drawn in full (missing some segments). The actual user interface works really intuitively though, even if there isn't much to do.

Dream Witch Erika by SimonLarsen 2014-08-29T09:57:00

I cannot believe how much work you crammed in to the 72 hours, but it's definitely paid off. Definitely one of my favourites, even if I had to give up after only completing two dreams (couldn't master the double jump).

Flopswitch by NMcCoy 2014-08-25T08:08:00

Absolutely brilliant! Fits the theme perfectly. Really clever to have a puzzle game where only the mechanic has to be designed and not the puzzles. I'm in love. :')

Bounty of Corruption by Tom Gardiner 2014-08-29T16:09:00

Screenshots had me expecting a Nuclear Throne clone, but I was pleasantly surprised with the execution and general polish (especially on the map screen). Good job!

The Veiled World by panurge 2014-09-09T19:42:00

Easily the most fun entry I've played so far. Sound effects are really charming. :D

Void Space by HuvaaKoodia 2014-09-06T18:16:00

I find it really hard to rate this as a game - I love algorithms so I feel that my opinion may be skewed. I've elected to vote by how much I feel like this should be seen, which is definitely "as much as possible". Lovely visualisation of an ant colony simulation.

Connected by miotatsu 2014-08-25T07:46:00

Wasn't sure how I felt about the voice-work until the bit came (you know), at which point I was seriously impressed. Definitely voting high for audio.

John and the Arbitrary Gem Hunt by SteveSalmond 2014-08-29T13:32:00

I...I really can't think of a single flaw with this. Truly exceptional.

Transit Gods Inc. by Katamori 2014-08-29T14:38:00

Really amazing how much charm you can squeeze out of such few pixels. :D

Dominions'n'dominoes by Benjamin 2014-09-03T17:29:00

Took me a while to figure certain things out, but once I got it I was completely hooked. I was going to use this break to play through a few games, changed my mind when this came first. Really well done, would love to see this as a board game.

Planetary Marriage Counseling by WeaselZone 2014-09-04T16:44:00

Loved it, but I'd have preferred if damaging things wasn't penalised - it's too tempting!

Parallel Rift by liquidminduk 2014-08-26T10:12:00

Really smart game, but I agree with CptDustmite that the game is too big for the browser.

Sunborn: The tale of connected worlds by Windmill Games 2014-08-26T10:44:00

A little too hard for me, but loving the atmosphere.

IGT by cdf121 2014-09-01T18:59:00

Really nice story; I don't normally enjoy linear IF but this really grabbed me.
The audio has thrown me off for two reasons - although I love the tune, it gets a bit annoying when it restarts every click (although I'm guessing that the framework you're using makes the problem less trivial than it sounds); and the other reason is that it is taken from the interwebs. I think that means that this would technically have to be classed as a Jam entry, but I like this so I'll keep quiet. ;)

Intergalactic postal service by mkochmin 2014-09-01T18:46:00

Ship accelerates waaaaay too fast, but the premise is promising and having to place the ship into orbit to deliver was pretty cool.

Stock Exchange by ded 2014-08-29T11:36:00

Have to say that I wasn't any good at it, but the graphs are incredibly pretty. Neat interpretation of the theme too.

Trading Worlds by Mathieu Muller 2014-08-27T17:49:00

Fun idea, tougher than I thought it would be though!
Does anyone else find that there tends to be far more right-connections than anything else?

Crystal Keeper by 3CGames 2014-09-01T10:30:00

Really tough, but smart and with brilliant music/visuals.

PongOut by Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh 2014-08-29T14:53:00

Played it by myself, so it was a personal achievement to keep the game going for more than 12 seconds. In part I was hoping that the two games would use the same ball, but it turned out pretty fun anyway.

Dude Launch by smizmeal 2014-08-28T15:23:00

Definitely one of the most original games I've seen this compo. Throwing naked men at a giant rock is exactly as fun as it sounds.

World Remix by revthwack 2014-09-06T12:24:00

I never quite understood exactly what was going on, but colour balance is definitely a very cool and innovative area to base gameplay on.

Benn's Adventure by sorceress 2014-08-27T15:07:00

Loved it (although I will admit to pressing mute after about 20 minutes)! Does the game end after you rescue the cat? I wandered everywhere and couldn't find anyone else.
