only works on Firefox, but it is a good game with good music. comment if you solve the mystery of the flashing lights
Just to be clear I have not seen a working version on any browser that is not firefox for any review on the gameplay read the second comment. it is good if diffuclt
Saying it only works in Firefox is a straight out lie. It works great in Chromium as well.
I have not seen it work on anything but firefox which is what I said mr.fox please read before complaining thank you
Just to be PAINFULLY clear I (as in me, myself) have not seen a working version of this game (the one that this comment is on) on any browser accept firefox (which was the third one I have tried, I tried chrome for windows and internet explorer) the firefox which was successful was on a machine running arch linux. this is my experience which is the only thing I am qualified to report. if it works on your computer good for you leave a comment saying so (since review systems only work if you tell your experience and if the good is more prevalent than it shows the game to be good and vice versa) so it does work just not on my machine. this should be taken as a more accurate than the any previous comments as this was made after updates and more time spent analyzing the problems and trying solutions.
It worked fine in Chrome for me, for reference. Or maybe it didn't? It ran, but I really couldn't break any of the shapes when shooting them with Z. Occasionally the cleared-out one would break for some reason, but I didn't seem to be involved in that. Maybe I'm just not press Z fast enough, but I can't play more than a few seconds before getting killed. I like what I think the idea and concept are, the music was okay if not a little grating, and the visuals were clean. I just wanted to be able to play more of it!
Okay, upon talking with you, I didn't understand the mechanics well enough it seems. Once I knew to step aside after shooting a clear block, I was finally able to progress. I like that the soundtrack picks up as the game expands! It's still too difficult :-P but a MUCH better effort than I initially thought! Score updated to reflect this.
This is amazing! I think this is probably one of the best games you've made [ever] and I hope you keep doing LD. I think it's a little bit too hard, but it's in between too hard and too easy [perfect place].
worked for me in firefox. but this game is hard :O just when i manage to stay alive and shoot a clear crytal, the crystal blasts me away
This is really cool, and you really feel in the groove once you get going. This feels like the last level of a hard game though! I want to cruise through some easier levels on my way up to this! I do wish there were another shoot button other than Z -- using WASD controls with Z was cramped for my hand.

I loved it! It's really hard but not unfair. I think the mechanics are neat and have a lot of room for doing interesting things in a full game if you wanted to do it. It definitely scratches that "try/fail/repeat" itch where you learn patterns and get progressively better every time.
Eventually figured I had to stay between the red line and the concept is fun and interesting but like others have said, it's insanely hard.
Hard ? You said HARD !? It's awesomely hard as hell, yeah ! Not for me, but still a good game. :)
I can't fire and I didn't understand the system. I missed the instruction :(
