I love loosing at this game because I have become too happy! Incredibly good idea! Very original game.

foxarya 2015-04-23 14:46

The concept is awesome, the game's very fun and I enjoyed it a lot.

foxarya 2015-04-23 14:47

As a side note, if you get too much height, the torrets won't shoot at you.

Some more weeks of work and polish will surely make this game a little fun gem.
The costruction screen and mechanics is well done, i loved making my "Flying Warship of SaDistruction D:"

http://abload.de/img/clipboard04ywup7.png Won the game with this

@ManoS
Your first ship doesn't have enough upward acceleration. You can take a propeller, rotate it by pressing the R key and place it looking upwards.

The graphics are really nice, I like the look of it. Unfortunately I didn't see enough of the game, yet, as my ship didn't shoot when I clicked, so I never got beyond the first level.

Great, I found an entry using a similar idea, but the opposite goal :D

jk5000 2015-04-26 17:17

A fun idea and a great concept. It just needs some music. Well done.

norwalnate13 2015-04-26 17:22

I love upgrading my airship! I wish there was a little more depth, but this is to be expected from an LD game. Nice job!

belowzerogames 2015-04-26 17:22

Well done just kept getting too happy to spread sadness :-)

blob 2015-04-26 17:30

Hi, do you have a non post jam version that I can test for the voting?

thingostudios 2015-04-26 17:30

I loved this game so, so much. The steadily greyed out world is a wonderful reversal of that "ADD COLOR TO THE WORLD!!!" trope as well as a easy visual indication of how far you've progressed; the airship construction was super fun; all things considered, this was a wonderful game.

blob 2015-04-28 03:32

Very cool concept. Would have loved converted turret to fight for you, and possibly basic ennemy happiness aircrafts attacking you.

gnx 2015-05-01 22:29

Neat concept :) You also have a lot of very advanced mechanics in the game that make it quite interesting. I think the gameplay however isn't quite as fun as it could be with all the possibilities available.

Also would've loved some audio :)

samh 2015-05-01 23:27

A lot more fun than I expected, congrats! Has a Besiege and FTL feel to it. I kept retrying after failure even though I knew it was going to be repetitive, just to try a new kind of ship configuration. You may have found one of the secret ingredients of fun :)

eggplant 2015-05-01 23:38

A very fun, enjoyable experience. I loved the concept. I'm very impressed at all you did in such a short amount of time, definitely way more than I could do. Good job!

kunzbe 2015-05-02 12:51

Well done, but i really missed the music ;)

2015-05-03 02:20

hi, here Mikomic from Clideon's stream. really awesome game, and as i told you, i need this on Gameboy Advance. really. like now.

teslacoil 2015-05-03 21:42

Awesome game! Upgrading the ship was so much fun. (This was my final result: http://i.imgur.com/REAQirG.png)

Otherwise, though, the gameplay felt a little lacking. The cities weren't really too difficult, and it was tedious to go all the way back across the map to upgrade and restore life.

Also, at times, it felt sort of arbitrary what parts I could place where. I think I mostly figured it out when I made my ultimate sad machine, but it was annoying at first.

Let's see, what else... the theme of using sadness as a weapon was definitely shown in the visuals, but it didn't really fit into the gameplay. The shooter could've been about anything, really.

I can nitpick some more, but at the end of the day, the ship-building was awesome. Good job.

Cool idea and concept. Some sounds/music would improove the experience. Great job!

nonobattle 2015-05-09 12:18

Fun game, with nice concept! Some kind of sound would be awesome.
