Very nice story and very, very nice graphics. The music is also really great. The platformer part felt a bit clunky. Other than that I definitely enjoyed the game.
Gives a nice feeling of cleaning up :-) Neat little game. It crashed a cupple of times and took the whole browser with it :-)
Man, I just love retro pixel explosions and shaking screens! Good job on that! The music is fantastic. Maybe jsut add some variety to enemies and weapons.
Very good! I had a ton of fun with this one. Looks and really polished. Just add some background music and ship it :-)
Virus warning :-(
Wow, that looks and sounds really good already. The playable dudes are kinda weird but that's cool :-) The fights take a little too long for me. If I'm supposed to watch them fighting for this long, there should be more effects, I think. Good job!
Crashes at the splash screen on my windows machine :-(
What makes this idea so great is that it's absurd and hilarious! Really creative. Movement could be faster and sound could be richer, but otherwise it's a funny thing to play from time to time.
Nothing really happens, when I'm trying to dig. A minion moves but that's it :-(
I think it's absolutely hilarious! Awesome idea! Finish it and get that out as a mobile game ASAP. Make more levels, better audio and improve the graphics and then ship it.
Nice take on the theme. Gameplay is sold. The graphics are already quite good, I think. Some graphical details and fighting sounds would make it funnier to play, at least for me.
The graphics are really nice, I like the look of it. Unfortunately I didn't see enough of the game, yet, as my ship didn't shoot when I clicked, so I never got beyond the first level.
I love puzzlers like this, especially with a nice retro look. Good game! A restart button would be nice, since I messed up the level quite some time.
That title. Like the graphics. Like the humor. I like this game but I don't know why.
Impressive graphics and animations. Very well done.
Not bad! After I got how to play it, I did so for some time. Nice mechanic. Just needs audio, more visual effects.
I can't pick any body part. I can flush the tanks and get new parts but I the can't be moved to the plugging-are :-(
Really creepy. Infact, too creepy for me :-) I couldn't play for long. But I saw it's uniqueness and awesomeness.
Cool stuff. Not much to say about it. It's just funny. Good job!
The controls work really nice. The game would be more challenging if the guards will actually attack the player when they spot him. Oftentimes I was able to just rush through.
Sick cliffhanger. Best mood so far. Really good job!
Come on, a match-3-game? Really? Wait, you can forge stuff? Let me see... *plays for one hour straight, even though the music loop gets annoying after a couple of minutes*
My best score was 535. Really cool graphics and animations.
I ran around pretty clueless what to do and often did not recognize stuff lying around. But I guess that's part me not particularly liking puzzlers like this. I liked the music and the players face.
Incredibly well made. I will continue playing that.
The game is completely white (except the skybox) :-( Can't play. The screenshot make me want to play :-)
I tried the Windows and Web version again and it's still completely white (except the background). I'll give it a try on another machine.
C'mon, add some binaries :-) I don't want to open your game with Unity, I want an EXE :-)
Weird but cool stuff going on there :-) I was bad at controlling the microwave using both hands.
Wow, really enjoyable puzzle! It's lacking some sounds and although the controls are described ingame, it took me too long to finally get them (tried to use the mouse together with F and SPACE). Nonetheless I will definitely play until I win at least one time :-)
Graphics and music create an awesome mood. Very well done!
The game doesn't start. It says
"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: me/sheetcoldgames/ld32/DesktopLauncher : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0"
Which JRE/JDK do I need to run it?
How can I select a level from the menu?
Perfect look and feel for me. The game's audio and graphics create an excellent mood. Keyboard controls are a bit difficult.
I like it a lot.
Nice fighting action! The mech models look awesome already. The graphics and 2d animations could be a lot richer, though. Not much more to it than running around and shooting everything, but that's what I would expect from a game like this.
The sprites look awesome! I like how the game becomes pretty chaotic after some time. It feels like there is much going an and it really challenges my multitasking. Good job.
How doesn't want to be Cookie Monster? Funny, nice looking game. The only thing to complain about is the Cookie Monster's idle animation, which looks like he's running on the spot. Good job!
The link is broken. Missing permission.
Pretty hard game. I barely made it to level 3, once I figured out, that waiting for the laser to charge unfortunately isn't the right tactic, as the enemies are way faster.
Game doesn't start due to missing MSVCP120D.dll.
It kinda had some fun with that, although I found it too easy, as the enemies kept spawning in just 3 spots. And it seems to be going forever. At least I couldn't find any indication of progress. Bullet effects and sprite animations would immediately add more feel to the game.
I found it too monotonous, sorry :-/ Best part was the audio. The rest didn't look and feel good to me.
Nice drawing. Could be darker, though, as the war setting is rather depressing. And environment sounds would be cool. The crashed when I was trying hard to climb the ladder in the broken building.
Definitely the funniest way of learning to type with a keyboard :-) I missed some music and maybe some screen shaking. Also the wall of text that is the menu doesn't feel inviting for me.
Pretty rogue-like, I guess. The game crashed everytime poured the juice. Was that the weapon I'm supposed to use against the zombies?
Nice take on the theme! Personally I wouldn't need enemies, as I already like those kind of puzzles. But I see, that enemies add some sort of time constraint. I like really like the look of it. Good job!
Nice look and definitely an interesting take on the theme. Very solid game. IMAHO it just needs some more effects to feel better.
Black screen ingame. I can only see the main menu and the ingame hud. The rest is black :-( Fix it, I want to play :-) (tested in Chrome and FF and the Windows version)
Not finished but still a good idea.
That's art. I actually don't miss any gameplay as it is totally beautiful to just walk around and watch the lights. The lights appearing after pressing LMB reminded me of the black hole scene from Interstellar :-) Not quite a game but a really good looking interactive experience.
Placing pickles to attract goblins is weird... in a good way :-) Destroying stuff is always a good thing. I'm curious what a more complete version of this would look like. The music is good.
The graphics are awesome. Very funny take on the theme. I found it hard to aim at the beginning but eventually I got used to it. Refreshing.
That was actually creepy. I felt haunted :-) Really nice background music! I didn't get how to damage the spiders. Was looking at them enough? Would prefer to set the walking direction with the mouse.
Very nice setting and story. I never played a narrative game before, so yours will be forever in my memory :-)
Ignore the art and it's a simple and fun game! One of the best game ideas so far. Good job!
A tutorial or description would help noobs like me finding in the game :-) I suppose it's supposed to be slow-paced, which is good. But it's actually too slow for me. There could be some progress indicators, showing me when my veggie is ready. Overall quite impressive taking into account, that you did it in one day.
I liked the comics. The console mechanic didn't grab me. With just repeating "punch -s" I managed to kill all robots, which made the game too easy.
Game doesn't get past the loading screen :-(
Tricky. Made me feel dumb in the end. Good one.
Wow, that looks pretty polished and visually unique! The zoom effect is nice. You could add some screen shaking and blood or some other particles for smacking those bats. Solid mini game. Good job!
I was pretty hard for me to watch the actions of nearby opponents. But that's just my bad multitasking. Nice background music.
The fire effect is actually well made but unfortunately it also makes it hard to survive. It's too unpredictable for me. The controls could be a litte more responsive and the movement faster, I Think. Liked the graphics though.
Got a virus warning :-(
I didn't get it :-( In level 2 no fairy wanted to step on the button. How can I make them go where I want?
The music is nice. Somehow it reminded me of Professor Layton games :-)
Thermo-nuclear weapon generator from hell. It gives me so many game ideas, that I had to force myself to quit. Pretty funny toy!
entries.
Overall
Thermo-nuclear weapon generator from hell. It gives me so many game ideas, that I had to force myself to quit. Pretty funny toy!
Keep working on it. I can see potential in it. Might become a nice retro-styled thing. The game is already looking good. For now, not much happens but flying around and destroying weak enemies. Oh and due to my german keyboard the movement is inverted.
I don't know exactly what is happening :-) I managed to score one point but after that the guys got stuck a few times, so I had to releod. They look cool, though. Nice take on the theme!
Can't play, got a virus warning :-(
@Tuism: Thanks for you feedback! I have to admit, I didn't expect this hole camera thing to be a problem for a lot of the nice people testing floats. I thought moving the camera using the mouse would be sort of natural for any mouse user. You either move the curser towards the edges of the screen or you drag the map around using the middle mouse button or the RMB, like in a RTS. I decided for to implement the latter. The feedback so far proved me wrong about this assumption :-) I will have to try something different here. About the gameplay: For me it's all about the drag'n'drop. I wanted to make a game where you'd have to drag things, maybe combine and order stuff. When I saw this game in my mind, I also wanted it to have some kind of action elemts. So I thought I'd put in some drag'n'drop puzzles and maybe mix those with "action" elements, like fighting enemies. Whether the game offers a good mix of puzzles and action is up to the player. Personally though, I think that both can be improved a lot.
@Xanjos: Thank you for testing a second time! I really appreciate your help. I guess I will have to take a look at my code's performance.
@all other testers until now: Thank you for playing floats and giving me feedback :-)
I also got this error in Chrome and FF:
uncaught exception: abort() at jsStackTrace@http://www.pixelstuff.fr/angry-beavers/Release/angrybeavers_webgl.js:992:13
Pretty good movement, though I got stuck a few times. I'm sure it would be fun to play against someone.
The game didn't crash on me :-) You even implemented a character selection. Cool!
Cool meachanic. At first it was hard to aim, but I got used to it. Good game. Just replace the programmer art with something more pleasing to the eye :-)
I agree, polishing is very hard. But it can be done and there are actually some extremely polished games out there.
Your game's idea is nice. The minimalist visual style fits well with the programming-hacking-thing. I like that. I can't seem to make it to level 3 though, as the robots don't seem to turn around the way I expect.
That sneaky piece of sh... Very original idea. Only the style of sounds doesn't fit the visuals, I think.
Man, that mouth looks... horrifying. After trying a couple of minutes I still didn't manage to figure out the rules for clearing blocks. The music makes it feel like tetris (which I like).
I liked the look of the rooms. Took me some time to figure out that the guards need to be attacked from behind. Hit animations or something to indicate a successfull hit would be nice.
I can't take the sword. Clicking has no effect :-(
I like the look of it. A little more varying animations and it would feel like there is actually something going between the aliens. Also the mouse sensitivity too slow for me. Takes away from the responsiveness.
I like its unique graphical style, which actually reminds me of some cartoon series. Although it's about fighting enemies, I somehow found it to be peaceful. The game has it's own charm. Only the controls seemed a little unresponsive.
Absolutely not bad, considering you only worked for like one day at it.
Great audio effects!
Symantec gave me a virus warning for the exe.
I have no idea what to do, nor what is happening. But I kept the browser window open, because the music is great.
My mouse almost went on fire, because I was swinging so hard. That was funny :-) But I never survived long. Maybe there are too much enemies.
I like your idea of a soul extraction device. This has potential for some cool puzzles. I got stuck a lot and found it hard to predict the jumping distance, though. That was bad for my game flow.
I have no idea what to do. That's very unfortunate, because the graphics look promising. I'm missing some instructions.
Nice music track :-) I missed a lot of pillows although the ship seemed to touch them. As soon as I got a feel for how long I had to press two keys to move to the target quadrant, the game became almost too easy. This was then compensated by the increasing speed. So it's a well done easy-to-learn-but-hard-to-master mechanic.
Wow, those graphics look good. Srsly, really nice style. The idea of sacrificing friends is brutal and unique. I think, it matches the theme well. I just don‘t find the typing thing appealing. I would prefer mouse or touch based interaction, like throwing the dudes under the ball with my own hands.
Hilarious idea! I had fun playing this. Your song sounds cool but it doesn't create a proper mood for me. Nonetheless good job!
Funny little game. It was actually more funny running around the entire time, trying to dodge the missiles :-) The character animation is simple but really adds to the scream-and-run feeling. I agree, that a highscore system would add a bit long term motivation. And background graphics would be nice.
Holy cow! Played really well.
The game doesn't seem to react on my keyboard inputs :-( Nothing moves.
Good looking game. Just like an old game boy title. I found it very hard but that is plus. Nice job!
I get a "NETWORK ERROR" :-(
Decent shooter. It's a bit too hard to aim for me.
I died a good amount of horrible deaths :-) The graphics actually look nice. The popups got kinda annoying. The gameplay is well known and solid.
I failed at controlling my ship all the time, because I wanted to turn around on the spot :-) The game gives a nice feeling of cleaning up. Like that. Graphics are quite somehow appealing to me.
One of the few games that I actually wanted to play through. Good job!
It's... I don't even. It has a nice mood. And I like the graphics.
ZXC is bad on QWERTZ keyboards. It forces me to change my keyboards layout. Aside from that I like the look and sounds of your game.
I like the puzzle mechanic. At first I thought it was a bug that you move the whole row/column even with empty space between them. It makes it way more challenging. I miss audio and I don't like that you can scroll the field, as I did that often unintentionally.
Nice puzzle mechanic and delightfully implemented. Less camera movement would be better for me. I often came close to the world worders so the camera moved away. I'd suggetst using just the keyboard for camera movement.
I like the idea of a shapeshifting maze but I just died after the second or third turn all the time. It almost felt like the movement direction was inconsistent. Don't know what happened.
Wow, I like the idea. Tetris with economics. You've got to watch a lot of stuff on the screen but once I got familiar with it, I had a lot of fun maximizing my profit. Two complaints: Either the junks hit boxes or the blocks hit boxes are to large and the music is terrible ;-) Aside from that, really good entry!
Looks good, feels good to me. Clever spatial puzzle, though the difficulty mostly comes from the unpredictability of the next rotation direction.
The game looks weirdly cool. It doesn't feel responsive, though. I would make the movement faster and more arcade-like and add more smashiness overall.
Nice addition of the theme to an existing puzzle mechanic. I had a hard time at some levels. Couldn't remember the second shape long enough :-)
Very funny entry. I wish I could combine poses to make that bod look even weirder.
I used the version that was labeled "JUDGE THIS". Nice take on the theme.
I like the core puzzle mechanic. Pretty solid. I would prefer moving the tiles by swiping. Some easing in the movement could make it more appealing.
Well, not my type of game, unfortunately. I clicked the egg about 30 times or so and then I was just buying stuff. Not sure if that's a good balance. Some the puns were great ;-)
I like the visuals and audio most, although a little less blur wouldn't hurt ;-). The character movement looked and felt odd when the guy wasn't looking in his walking direction. I could barely hit any of the creatures because they would stun me with their hits. Felt like Diablo, where you could get stuck when surrounded by enemies. :-) Overall a solid entry for me.
This game leaves plenty of room for interpretation ;-) I'm not sure if it's based on a strange kind of humor or a serious artistic idea.
The game doesn't start. As this is a Unity game, you need to zip the exe AND the "Run Baby Run_Data" folder.
Nice colors. I found it quite easy once I figured out that the blocks can be moved horizontally. Just align them in one horizontal line and you have plenty of time moving them to the next position one after another. Apply some easing to the movement and this could be a decent mobile puzzler.
Funny idea and well done. I ate a lot of trump.
The savepoints are really necessary as I often couldn't tell what most of the stuff is and if it will harm me or not. The movement feels too rough for a platformer. The music was the best part for me. It mostly made the atmosphere for me.
