Well, even after 5 minutos floating in game, I still didn't know what to do or were to go... The graphics are beautiful, but gameplay is very confusing.

lexgear 2015-04-21 07:36

Very pretty, but also very laggy. I can see why other people might be confused with the game play. The music was a very nice touch.

I like the atmosphere a lot, but I don't understand what i'm supposed to do :c when i used mouse1 i thought the shiny things were taking me somewhere else..but i was still there O_o

bace1000 2015-04-21 15:57

What am I supposed to do? You need to include some sort of guidance in the game. It did look absolutely stunning, though, but it was also quite laggy.

lucidsheep 2015-04-22 06:35

Very beautiful and a well set mood, but I wasn't sure how to progress in the game. Holding the left mouse seemed to absorb energy near the fire and right mouse seemed to shoot some sparks, but I had no idea what to do. Please post a guide, I'd love to play more!

ivan-sukhanov 2015-04-22 11:25

Yes, it is right, game mechanics and system of controlling is not very well, and now it game have only 1 fished level... I am very sorry, i did not have enough time to make it better, to done it...

But i can try write some kind of guide:
In first episode you need active three energy panels.
To active one of these panels you need stand on any of it, absorb energy and interrupt flow of the particles.
Active panel will glow.

I am thinking on post jam version, if you interested to see it (and play of course), in near time i can done it, but i need to know: would you want to play (or no) in full version of bonfires...

That's art. I actually don't miss any gameplay as it is totally beautiful to just walk around and watch the lights. The lights appearing after pressing LMB reminded me of the black hole scene from Interstellar :-) Not quite a game but a really good looking interactive experience.

Worked game, i like it! Very spiritual i feel!

omaha 2015-04-22 11:43

The music and graphics and atmosphere were wonderful. I was confused by the gameplay and the low mouse sensitivity.

sakergames 2015-04-22 11:44

I was confused first about what should I do. The looks cool, the mood is awesome. I would like to see a full version of it.

terraneola 2015-04-22 11:49

Truly nice atmosphere!

heffjoker 2015-04-22 11:51

The art direction for this is FANTASTIC! I love the particles, sound, and general mood you set up.

Like everyone else I was confused by the objective of the game. However, after reading your comment, it makes a lot more sense. It was a little too dark for me to see the panels to get all of them, but that may be because it's very bright in my room right now (I'll try again later tonight).

Also, the character movement was a little bit too slow for me. I think it could be a little faster and still keep the mood you were looking for.

Overall, great job! I look forward to seeing more of this in the future!

masterofnan 2015-04-22 11:53

Looks and sounds absolutely gorgeous - nice work!
Even if it were light on specific gameplay mechanics, just wandering through a variety of worlds with that whole aesthetic would be very mellow and enjoyable.

lucatode 2015-04-22 12:00

Great potential, not so funny cuz it's too hard and laggy! Anyway it could be impressive!

mentatzoe 2015-04-22 12:02

The atmosphere is beautiful and it provides you with an incredibly nice artistic experience. Even though, I agree with most other commenters that it would be great having some more guidance so that we could progress in the game.
Beautiful art and sound!

iamwhosiam 2015-04-22 12:02

very pretty game. i just wish it ran on my computer a bit better.

mghareeb32 2015-04-22 12:58

Couldn't figure out what to do. I really appreciate the work you put into the graphics. The game has an odd feel to it (in a good way :D).

supr 2015-04-22 13:17

Interesting concept, needs to be improved and extended. Hope to see post-jam version.

ivan-sukhanov 2015-04-22 17:54

Thank you all for your comments.

I am very pleased that the majority like the atmosphere of the game.

In new version, I will improve game mechanics, make it more interesting and understandable, and, no doubt, will continue to refine the atmosphere. I will try to relese the beta build as soon as possible.(One, may be two week)

In any case, your feedback is extremely important to me. I will try to accommodate all your suggestions. Thanks.

Really digging the atmosphere

hadesfury 2015-04-23 12:50

Yep, really nice atmosphere, I activated three panels I guess, was it suppose to do something?
Makes me want to see more indeed!

ivan-sukhanov 2015-04-23 13:12

After activate three panels, you need anywhere open energy flow and interrupt it.

ianburnette 2015-04-24 00:33

I wow, I'm really enjoying this. Yes, I'd love to play the full version. Most game get by on atmosphere HALF this good.

junber 2015-04-26 19:54

I didnt really knew what i was supposed to be doing but it looked awesome and the audio was great too.

demy 2015-04-28 04:52

It looks like the professional game, but I didn't get how to do something more than activate first fire.

lochmann-apps 2015-05-04 06:14

Really enjoyed walking around! I love the sound/melody! Great work! A little bit more action or some kind of goal would make this a really nice game!

siryakko 2015-05-04 11:41

Nice graphics, but i didn't really get what's the game in fine

alex31016 2015-05-04 20:18

I really like the graphics, the lights, the particles, the effects and the audio, but I didn't understand the gameplay. Anyway it is a great project, congrats!
