Please, make a Mac or web port! u_u Your game looks pretty nice, though.

Lol... This game have most unconventional weapons in whole Ludum Dare :D Pretty good gameplay too. Great work!
Finished the game, too bad there were only too weapons.
The game looks good, but it's hard to assertain how much of the graphics were "borrowed".
@Zuraguerra: The mac port was done. It should work now.
@McBurrobit: I added more precision to the description concerning the graphics. They are not that much "borrowed" as you said.
I made it all the way to the right of the screen. I guess I won?
I'm not sure that the pikzooka was better than the nyan cat.
The graphics, borrowed or not, look nice apart from the nyan weapon looked a little awkward. Your hud and menu was also very well polished. I thought the pikachu bazooka wasnt that good so i stuck with the nyan weapon, but all in all I still enjoyed the game. Great work!
very solid game, i beat everyone in level one and i assumed there is no level 2. here's what i liked:
- graphics: the sprites as well as the parallax layers. gave me an old school double dragon vibe
- audio:
how it can be even better imho:
- game play gets pretty repetitive soon.maybe more enemy types. and enemies that come from both directions
congrats on finishing.
Symantec gave me a virus warning for the exe.
The graphics and music in this are so good. I love the style. The gameplay was slightly basic, although good never the less.
I really liked this one!
I actually like the artwork.
Good solid entry for a first Ludum Dare.
@Horsed: How is it even possible ? Do you have any further information about this ? It's surely a false positive but it's still annoying.
@Mixer: Thank you for your kind words. We're planning to improve the game. Add new ennemies, new levels, new ambiances, etc... Come back soon :)
@Asobi: Thanks, it was quite hard to get a good result since none of us is supposed to be good at art :)
GiveEmLove_final2.exe isn't starting on my office computer. (Win7 64bit, 16gb ram, i7 2600).
It seems that it falls into an infinite loop or something. I just start it and then my wait cursos keeps rolling forever. Then I can't delete the exe, and can't kill the process, because there isn't any.
Maybe it's due to the possible virus warnings that Horsed have reported before?
Ok, finally got it working. The game sprites look pretty, it's quite challenging to kill all those enemies. Good game. :)
@Saker Games: Could you explain how you made it work. So that others encountering the same issue could solve it too ?
Cool little game, lol'd at the game over screen :)
@Nopogo: Exactly as intended ;)
The graphics are really good, but the Pikazooka only worked once ?
I finished the map, maybe an end or something like that would be great.
I think you've done more work than we can see, because there was an energy bar and, it didn't affect the game ?
@SowiHowl: Hmm, that's not an energy bar, it's the fire rate bar, its value is modified by the modifiers you can pick up once you've killed an enemy.
There's an issue with the Pikagun, where you playing on Mac ?
That give em love title is great, really like the design of it. Fun game and played it till the end with a score of 293. Would be nice to see more levels but really solid entry for first Ludum Dare.
haha good game, the use of the theme was well done, good job.
Nice take and execution of the theme, I really enjoyed playing this one. Good job :)
@Franklin's Ghost: It was not the first title. At the beginning it was "Spread Your Love", but Give'em Love reminded us of Beat'em all, so we sticked to this title.
Thank you all :)
Solid first LD entry! Hope that next time you get to flesh out your game more, but great job.
