great mood. I played it through to the end. i liked:
- the graphics given it's in 48 hrs
- the dialogue

great mood. I played it through to the end. i liked:
- the graphics given it's in 48 hrs
- the dialogue
very solid and very polished. I played through three defcon levels. here's what i liked
- great game mechanic: inhale then shoot
- great graphics.
- fitting music
- great feel with controls
very solid game, i beat everyone in level one and i assumed there is no level 2. here's what i liked:
- graphics: the sprites as well as the parallax layers. gave me an old school double dragon vibe
- audio:
how it can be even better imho:
- game play gets pretty repetitive soon.maybe more enemy types. and enemies that come from both directions
congrats on finishing.
FYI, i got a background with text "Red heart of gold" and no character no movement, no input works etc. Using Chrome on Win7 64 bit
congrats on finishing. I played in the initial level and wasn't able to get past it. i don't know if there was more but, here is what i liked:
- the graphics. I liked the cartoon style animals and the overall color design
- the soundtrack was cool (although a bit unfitting to the game)
here is how it could be even better imho:
- less speed on the movement of both the player and monsters. feels too much flying around
- a more mellow music would fit the mood of an emotional wizard better i think
First of all, anything with a rock soundtrack gets bonus kudos from me :) Things i liked:
- the concept
- the drum intro
- menu design
- stage design
things that would make this game better
- more responsive controls. I don't have an indication of when my guitar attacks recharge. which makes it feel unresponsive.
- more optimized code maybe. The frame rate dropped a lot on me as more people got on stage.
congrats on a nice game
played until the prom queen with the twigs. here's what i liked:
- the music helped the mood
- the graphics are weird but they work
- the dialogue is funny
how this game could be even better imho:
- more still images less animation. the graphics are so abstract anyway i don't think animation helps here
- more roadblocks that don't kill you. so you could go from room to room for a few rooms and engage multiple monsters without necessarily getting eaten or getting past.
super cool concept and kudos for such a well written story. I wish there was more content in there
congrats on finishing it. I couldn't get past level one :(. Here are the things i liked
- the main menu music <3
- the enemy design and animations
how this could be an even better game imho:
- some textural difference or color on the floor. I had difficulty seeing where the floor was sometimes
- slightly faster walk speed
- smaller pillow. when i am not shooting it covers like half of my visibility
congrats on a great game
i enjoyed this a lot, but it was super crowded and difficult. Congrats on finishing it. I couldn't tell which objects and bullets were damaging me.
Best game i played so far. amazingly moody. love the story, love the graphics. love the music. one slightly problematic piece for me was the controls (I played with a mouse). didn't feel very tactile, which plays well with the story but still. GREAT GAME
I played until level 6. things i like:
- feels and plays very well
- the notion of jumping from pool to pool was really cool
- the bubbles :)
somehow the overall is way higher than the components for this game. good job
congrats on finishing. I liked the graphics and the sound. If the player and the robots were just cubes rather than these thin sprites this would be easier to play i think
great game. took a while for me to figure out left/right arrow keys to move to the defending trees on both sides. once i did that the game suddenly became playable. I would suggest zooming out the camera a bit so that we can see all our trees at once
I played up until about $30000. I wish real life game development was this predictable:) I had fun.
Suggestions:
- the fire subwindow says "hire" in it which was confusing
- closing a subwindow was confusing. i found out you can hit the same button again to close. if you can add this to instructions it would be great.
Congrats on the game
difficult to control a bit. but congrats for bringing it this far.
the donuts look yummy. i am inclined to eat them rather then shoot them :) congrats on finishing
nice game, i couldn't get past the first level. things i liked:
- the idea that gods are giving you these weird objects as weapons
- the idle animation
suggestions:
- visible mouse cursor
congrats on finishing the game
super cool gfx and nice moody music. congrats on finishing. and great dialogue btw. really enjoyed this
the text of the things people say were super cool. and nice graphic details like the clouds and the clothesline. congrats on finishing it
I loved the concept of controlling 3 characters and trying to get a volcano to go off. congrats on finishing three control schemes in one weekend.
congrats for finishing. I couldn't get past wave 2. things i like:
- the variety of attacks
- the wave 2 enemy ai
suggestions:
- less enemies in level 1
great use of the theme. The mouth collision detection works great. it was really fun
I played a few times and it was fun. congrats on completing. things i liked:
- the music (it's psycho :))
- the pie fall distance
- the people running away from you and pies
- fairly tactical about corners
suggestion: more walls and corners :)
played until night 3 and had a lot of fun. Things I liked:
- the weight of the objects effecting your speed. makes it super tactical to choose which item to use as weapon
- the variety of different attacks (throw, stab, swing). again makes interesting combinations between object and attack.
- the feel of movement
suggestions:
- if you get caught without an object between guys and can't move you are dead. i think stab and swing should continue to work even if i am not holding an object. maybe does little damage i would still be swinging my arms in a bar fight in that situation :)
great game overall, congrats
Congrats on finishing. I played up to level 6. Things I liked:
- good puzzles (especially 2 and 5).
- the balls having weight and tipping scales etc
suggestions:
- zooming out the camera a little bit. it's not necessarily fun to search where the goal objects are
- the player character didn't need inertia/accelaration i think. i just want to focus on how/where to shoot the balls and not worry about falling off a platform.
Very good game overall
very nice idea. i also thought about love as an unconventional weapon on Friday but went in a different direction. i like the graphics. one issue i had was telling when they can or cannot see me.
I super enjoyed this game. even though it's a bit too linear and "easy to lose". i don't know if it was the music but the whole thing was super moody. great work. brings back fond memories of Leisure Suit Larry :)
nice little game. congrats on finishing it. one problem i had was the pillow range felt a little too short given how fast and erratic the ghosts move.
nice gfx and tactile playing feel. i felt the map is just a bit too big for the distribution of objects though. i.e too many empty/eventless rooms. but very nice overall
really enjoyed this. I couldn't go very far but still had fun. The main ship graphic is very moody and the music/narration helps with that too
interesting idea, although i must admit i didn't quite get the buffer fill attack. i really liked the two computer sprites the most. congrats on finishing it
good game play and lovely title screen. As a Seattleite myself enjoyed the humor too :)
was a lot of fun to play. the pipe orientation was initially confusing to me but once i got a hang of it, it was a lot of fun to play. Extra kudos for music.
Audio is really funny. I liked it. Unfortunately I was playing on a laptop with a touch pad and it was super hard to aim without a mouse. so I could only go as far as like 4 rooms. Good job

cool gfx. I wish there was a way to stand without moving.
