Very cool game! Pretty brutal though.
You might want to redesign the first few screens to teach the mechanic a bit better. Show people that jumping causes unexpected spikes to appear by making them appear in a non-threatening area the first time.
I was close to giving up because I didn't realise I could walljump at first. I'm glad I didn't though, great game!
Love the world switching mechanic.

Great. great concept! Could see this as a full release!
Smart, addicting, challenging and plays very well.
Jam: Does't fit this theme at all though.
Sound: Slapping on some music would'a been cool?
Cool! very interesting mechanic. wish it was longer tho:/

great Plattformer, it has nothing to do with the theme tho.
At LD30 (Connected Worlds) you could have won with this :D

Really nice!, plays nice and fast, controls are tight and graphics are cool. Great entry!

Really cool and polished entry. The puzzle mechanic is much better than in games where you simply hit a key to switch worlds, because together with the jump key it forces you to really think about what you are doing. Fantastic work!

Nice game, reminds me super meat boy, but with alternate universes! But i did not understand what it has common with the theme.

Fun and challenging. The levels are well designed but I wish there were more of them!
Really solid, really well done. Great game, I could only ask for more xD

Amazing game, I can see this easily becoming a full game if expanded.
I think the game doesn't fit this theme though.

Great style and platform feel. Made me think of super meat boy a bit, with the brutality and the wallhops. Couldnt get past the level with the 4 hops in a row though, too hard for me. Well done.

Nice difficulty. I almost gave up just before the victory screen.
Very cool concept! Great job.
Very nice graphics, simple yet beautiful. The game is pretty hard though - there could be more easy screens before the though parts. Nice idea, i just couldn't see the theme there.

Very neat done platformer. Wish it was longer :) Do a full game with 50 more levels and put it on Steam, it will do well. Might I ask what engine you used?

Pretty cool idea and I honestly envy you for how good the controls feel and react. I wish I knew how to get such slick controls!
All I wonder is how this connects with the theme? Seems more like "Connected Worlds" (LD30) to me. Still an amazing job!

Graphics: top! Gameplay: challenging. Do I want to play this again with more levels? YEEES!!! Greetings from the "Diana Sisters" :D
@Bardikus: We made a custom engine using HaxeFlixel.
@rnlf: There are some tricks to getting good feeling controls. First of all you want to have some amount of early and late input forgiveness. So basically a small window of time where the player can press jump before touching the ground, or press jump after running of a ledge and they will still jump. Also, if you have wall-jumping, delaying the player's ability to become un-stuck from the wall they're on will make it feel much better. Tommy Refenes talks about that very thing in this video: https://vimeo.com/34928357 (at 2:30) about Super Meat Boy. We basically just ripped off those controls because they feel good.
<programmer here> I wouldn't say we ripped them off, but we took a lot of influence from those controls.
There's also a lot of influence from Kyle Pulver's work. He did a good mini-series on how to make controls feel good. Here's a piece on what Ian mentioned above: http://kpulv.com/106/Jump_Input_Buffering/
I'd really like to see some better resources for creating nice feeling controls! There's a lot of things I consider "best practices" that are oft-unspoken. Maybe it's up to us to step up to the plate...
Really fun game with an interesting mechanic. Art style really suits the game.

Pretty cool game, the controls are very easy to use and the challenge is here. I wish it had a lot more levels, why not in a full version of the game?

Absolutely amazing but way too short (this is a compliment asking for more!) The world switching mechanic on jumping is something new and so a bit tricky to master but very enjoyable to play. Love the graphics and animation also - nothing bad to say about this game, top marks!
I also created a platformer/Metroidvania, really glad to stumble on yours as it's refreshing to see a new concept like this.
Interesting concept. I like it. All works well. I think that this project can be improved by adding some features, but it's good enough. Well done ++

Awesome entry mate, I dont see the unconventional weapon here but I dont care, had a great exp, please let us know if you decide to make more of it, would love to play a little more
O_o
As an honest critique tho, I felt that the controls could be a little friendlier, had a little trouble with the input on the walljumps, besides that, I really enjoyed the fast pace muscular memory exercise. Neat!
