Very cool concept! Great job.
Fine work Ted. Loved your simulation of resistance when crushing an alien. Very cool game!
Fun! I loved the art style. Never thought I'd have the chance to toss a frisbee around a train full of chainsaw wielding maniacs. Thanks for the opportunity :)
Wonderful art. Look into the eye!
Hehehe, I used that same sprite set in another game I built (thanks Kenny). Good work on your first jam. Keep it up.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this game. The art style is awesome and minimalist soundscape really immerses the player into that world. The game's mystery compelled me to keep searching for items, and trying to decipher what to do next. My favorite game so far. Great job! Please, continue to develop this.
Same critique as everyone else, so I'll say instead that I really liked the player sprite/animation and the scrolling background, music and snow fall added a really mellow atmosphere to the game. It really felt like a snowy day. Good work!
Solid platformer. Good job!
Very interesting, well composed and addictive puzzles. The lack of background music gave the player's movement sound far too dominant a role in the game's soundscape though. Good job.
Hilarious! What a creative tribute to your daughter. I hope she forgives you too :)
I would add a mechanic that informs the player how much "ammo" they have left. Good job!
Good work! I loved the music and the 3d models are finely crafted. I had one problem though, and I may have just been doing something wrong, but when the player on the left throws one of the aquarium toys, they always went to the left, making it impossible for me to hit the player on the right unless I was behind her.
Really loved the "nooo!" sound effect, which is good because I died a lot. The background music ended after my first death. Not sure if this was intentional or not, but if it was, this approach does make the game's atmosphere feel a bit flat. Otherwise, the game play is solid. Good work!
Great graphics and a neat idea. Good work!
One of the most solidly built games I've played so far. What a sadly hilarious ending. Good work!
Great first game! Keep creating.
This game was great fun! I loved the pillow smack sound effect. Great job. Keep making games.
You gotta use the numpad.
Ya, the control scheme is certainly not ideal. I wanted to implement some sort of radial menu, but just didn't have time. Thanks for playing :)
Thanks for playing! Originally, the game was going to be one player, but on the second day, I realized I wasn't going to have enough time to program decent AI, so I opted for a two player solution :)
Thanks for such a thoughtful comment. I agree with pretty much everything you said. This being my first game jam, and only my second ever game creation, I found it really difficult to properly design something in such a short period of time. Actually, my original design for the game was quite different, but after running up against time constraints, I found myself having to redesign core elements of the game on the fly. Thanks again for the encouragement!
This was great! Can't believe you made it in only 40 hours.
