A really innovative concept imo. The audio and visuals were really nice and the level design was spot-on. I rated this very highly.

This is one of my favorites so far! My only criticism is that at the start I felt a little too slow, maybe if the movement speed was bit higher it would feel better.
This is sooo addictive.. I like it that you need to actually think to figure out how to progress. And the little push you get from the shooting.. soooo goood! The music is spot on, gonna try to finish it
Great Concept, but the controls and the leveldesign take away from it a lot. The Controls aren't responsive enough, and we failed to progress after the first three abilities.
Awesome ! The concept is really cool, the music and graphics are good too.
As Sushiy said the controls are a bit special and the character feels a little slippery, it makes the game a little hard.
Soooo I spent a lot of time trying to get past one part of the game but i did not manage to do that, pretty frustrating but that is not a bad thing. The game is very addicting in a likeable way.
The graphics look great and suits very well into this kind of game. Concerning the audio i loved it, the sound effects and the music in the background made me want to play for at least 10 more minutes.
Overall I enjoyed this game and I had an amazing time playing it. This is a fantastic LD game. Thank you so much for this experience and good luck in the future! Have an awesome day, and I hope to see you in the next jam!

Very good idea, but some jumps are incredibly difficult. Could be a cool game some time!
Loved the concept! Good take on the theme! Good job!
The mechanics are really great, super clever! I feel like the movement is working against the game the most. Its really floaty and frictionless making it a bigger challenge than using the skills correctly! But other than that, solid stuff!
Love the idea! Fits theme perfectly. Only annoyance is the acceleration of the player and hitbox for the hook.
Amazing concept! have some fun in the beginning, then it became really frustrating, maybe because I'm bad haha. The controls are not really responsive and that makes the game a lot harder. Graphics are really beautiful. Really good overall.
This game is flipping amazing ^^# I really enjoyed that. A lot of good ideas in here! The automatic saves, for example. It's just really enjoyable and well-done! I'd say to try to be a little critical that "One Button Hero" is a little bit misleading... but all in all this is a damn good game, good job youg guys, respect :-O <3
A great concept and magnificent use of the theme. My biggest problem is that respawning took a long time. In a game where you're expecting to die so much, death and rebirth need to be swift so the player can get right back at it. Also, it was cool to loop back to the beginning of the game only to be able to progress further, but I fell down the hole and, while it was possible to get back up, it was pretty hard to do so. I also had a little trouble with the physics. The player was really slow and slid around a bit. This isn't inherently bad, but your game requires a certain degree of precision, and the player physics weren't really helping.
In spite of all my criticisms, though, I'm really impressed at what you've put together in such a short amount of time, and I had a really fun time playing your game. Great work!
oh congratulation! Nice art! Can I follow it also on indiexpo? Do you have also a page there? This looks great! I looked for the games that used the #LDJAM but I don't find yours. So good luck!! I will hope to make a video about it!
@roy87 No sorry I didn't know indiexpo. I'll check in the future how to properly add a game on it.
Nice game you got here and interesting take on the theme. I also read your blog post and great job on pulling this off. Thanks for sharing!
Very clever use of the theme, for an interesting and original usage ! Much nice ! Sadly, i think your game have alot of great things on it, but (that's my personal thought) it gets a little spoiled by the non permissive enough and slippery movement, making it very hard since the grab item , even if I was tryharding and not mongolizing, trying different combinations ! Overall, super concept, and very nice graphs. The music is pretty swell too.
I had to quit before the end, but I reach the grenade mechanics. Overall, it was a great game ! Clever mecanics, good level design, a little confusing when it come to reach plateforme outside the camera's limit, and some bounciness make me rage many time, but the whole game is very clear and the game design is, like as said, clever ! It really became a mix between reflexion like puzzle solving and skill, where one can save you if you lack from the other one.
Really interesting idea with combining multiple powers together. I couldn't move on after getting the grappling hook though. It was too difficult to time the jumps right.
I love the connection with the theme! That's an excellent find! It's not easy for me to master, but it's one of the most original games in the concept I've played for the moment.
The idea of the game made me curious, and then I started playin.
Just started like that: "Holy crap the player move is not easy..."
...and then "mmmh, hey but if I do play in this order..."
...and then "oh god, I did it, easy-peasyyy!"
"...oh shit this one is insane... no wait, if I jump hook shoot? No, better to shoot jump hook..."
"...jook shump hoot..."
"...raaaaaaah!"
"...raaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
"...oh wait, there is more abilities! But the worth it is! Aaaaaaah so marvelous!"
"...Hey the song is stuck into my head!"
"...Hahaha so preatilly chaotic"
"...Wow, that was really nice actually"
Well, thank you for making this game!
