A bit buggy at times but I really liked the art and enjoyed playing it.

A lot of the art clashes against the art style of another, bollocks hit detection in a run and gun evasion game, no real sense of direction plot, nor feasible progression, literally killing yourself if you shoot at the other wall from a horizontal wall; are many faults with the game. However it does work with theme quite well, it's a good idea implemented alright for the most part (excluding hit detection) and has good audio.

Interesting concept you have here. I like the idea of bullets bouncing off walls. Great minds think alike: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/retileation

YAMATE KUDASAI hahahahahaha Really great mechanic for the theme. Maybe a bit too punishing with the difficulty but fun, feels a little bit like The Binding of Isaac when there's so much moving around the screen. It's cool that the enemies can bounce back your balls with their own. I've found that sometimes sprites lose their 2D and decide to go pay a visit to the 3th dimension, apart from that corners are dangerous because you can end up killing yourself. Overall great job!

@akusan thanks for the link ! yes it's similar, it's interesting to see the difference ! @pudding @bumibomber @xarras thanks ! yes we had have some difficulty to keep the same graphic style, with four graphists, it's not simple XD and we had have also some difficulty with the spacialization, in unity...

Somehow I was able to dash outside of the screen:

@icxon @Bumibomber Thanks for your comments ! We are aware of the bugs left in the game, and are making a final build with : - Animation for every monster states (Ennemydeath / EnnemyHit / EnnemyShoot) - Parry mechanic to reflect bullets - Versus Mode with 3 arenas - Weapons (SMG, Bazooka, Shotgun, some trolls weapon) - Add Feedback when bullet hit player or ennemy - Maps scaled to fullscreen - Visual feedback on bullets bounce - More ennemies (bomber, tank, chasers, triple shooters ...) - Traps on floor and wall (spikes, fire etc) - Health pickup / Ammo Pickup - Secret room when you make a bomber explode on specific walls

oh congratulation! Nice art! Can I follow it also on indiexpo? Do you have a page? This looks great! Good luck!!

It was a pretty good games ! Unfortunatly, too much bug or bad design drag down the experience, like the spawn of ennemi who can kill the main character, or the shoots who become invisible due to weird rotation (could be a good feature if more controlled I think). In the other hand, the graphism (specially the boss) are pretty good ! But did not end very well together nah ? But I still apreciate it and well, the dash , the bullet hell, the sensation of being on a seroid version of arkanoid with alien was really fun ! To anticipate bounce on a corner to kill more ennemies became really fun ! Finally : music : holy greatness , it was so cool !

lukuluk 2017-12-06 23:16

Nice game, I had just the same problem of bullets rotating in a strange 3D way, but the overall game is cool!

donvermo 2017-12-24 13:50

The art and concept are nice but physics are little messed up, weapon projectiles seem to bounce through axis that they probably shouldn't making them pretty much invisible.

First, how you guys managed to make a project with such a large team is very impressive especially because the rule of thumb is that a team of 4 is large when it comes to a game jam because of long it can take to organize the team. The image on this page really caught my attention and the artwork used in the game is an interesting combination. I still need to get used to the whole idea that friendly fire doesn't just apply to my allies but also me! :P
