My only complaint is that its too short. This is definetly the most polished game ive seen yet, and WOW the gameplay was amazing too. The last puzzle was really good, and the whole concept overall was really fun. I really wish there were more levels after 13.

whysguy52 2021-04-27 08:32

Yeah this is awesome.

dimaswift 2021-04-27 08:33

this has to be the most polished game I played so far, in all categories! Really well done

xjazzaxx 2021-04-27 08:36

Enjoyed this submission, gameplay was challenging yet enjoyable. Feels like with additional levels this could be a fantastic full game. I found that dying then moving immediately upon restarting would avoid certain projectiles without using mechanics. Level 13 was amazing, frustratingly fun!

douwe-ravers 2021-04-27 08:36

Very fun puzzle. It's not easy to make a game that is not too easy but not too hard as well. I like the kind of techno theme as wel. I had experienced two little bugs though. At one point the collider of my blue bubble just stopped working so I couldn't push 1 dimention projectiles. Also when I switched from second to first dimention sometimes I could prevent my dead while being hit by the projectiles. But because you offer all the levels even when restarting that was not demotivating in any way :)

ty 2021-04-27 08:57

like everyone else said, extreeeeemely polished game! really impressive for 72 hours. the mechanic is super fun and innovative! personally the movement of the player character was too slow, but i can see how it contributed to how the game actually works, so there's that :D

gaming-night 2021-04-27 09:15

Thank you all for your feedbacks !

@xjazzaxx ahah, we noticed that as well, level design is so hard to balance...we prefered to see these problems as speedrunner tricks, until we fix them!

@douwe-ravers yeah some bugs still remains, we had added new stuff until the last minute, sometimes very dirtily :) it was hard to keep the code all clean. Maybe we'll try to propose a postjam bugfixed version.

lauranto 2021-04-27 09:31

Woah, this game felt really really polished. The music is amazing, graphics and animations fit the theme really well and the going deeper into frames mechanic felt so innovative. Such a good experience. The gameplay was really challenging, but in a positive way, and I'll have to give it an another go later.

pepnou 2021-04-27 10:22

Incredible game! Feels really polished. The game mechanics is fun. I really enjoyed the last level :) Great job!

themoonrise 2021-04-27 12:36

I think this game is really well done. It took me a while to get the hang of it but when I did it was really fun. Well done.

archie-evans 2021-04-27 12:38

The projectile's firing feels a bit glitchy - some cannons seem to fire inconsistently? I find the deeper mechanic breaks up the gameplay in a jarring way - and full on doesn't help on level 13, the purple bullets just respawn on the blue layer and immediately kill you. The game is very aesthetic though, and that music has a great beat to it.

felixmreeve 2021-04-27 12:41

Good job! Found this quite tricky and especially by the time you get to the last level it's difficult to slow down time, move things about and then move the white piece in real time. I feel like it might have worked better for me personally if there was a way to move the white piece while blocking with the blue/yellow

doomthings 2021-04-27 12:42

everything about this game was a trip! love the inception idea, especially changing the pitch/speed of the music as you "go deeper". as a few others have said, took a few tries for me to get the hang of it as well but even figuring that part out was fun! great job!

aniebodie 2021-04-27 12:48

Yeah, this one takes the cake. It's just amazing on all counts, incredible entry!

raivk 2021-04-27 13:40

Woaw that's a quite original entry you got there! Congratulations!

sempiternal 2021-04-27 13:43

The amount of polish on this game is absolutely incredible. Love the music, all the transitions and visual effects, amazing feel! Great job guys.

morricore 2021-04-27 14:58

I think lacks of tutorial, but really great work on design.

pestodesign 2021-04-27 15:31

Very clever, I felr like going backstage and cheating while using he deeper mechanics! Well done!

polobbq 2021-04-27 16:59

Really cool concept and greatly implemented! As some feedback, using the default controls of ctrl+shift didn't work well with firefox on windows, as it kept adding the tab to bookmarks. Great job, I personally really liked the no-tutorial so I could learn it myself with the easier levels

ryanwoods 2021-04-27 20:24

This is insanely good! I couldn't finish the 13th level since I'm bad at anticipating, but dang I'm just blown away at how tight this feels.

randomhuman 2021-04-27 20:51

I like the idea a lot and I love the reality warping effect. It's a shame there aren't more levels that make use of the second layer. I was able to wing a few of the levels as well without changing layer at all

zimny11 2021-04-28 19:42

Really cool concept and amazing execution! It was fun to play!

jusw85 2021-04-28 20:42

It's really well made, I loved the art and music, and the mechanic is very innovative! I would've loved to see the second deeper level mechanic explored with more levels. That said, although I beat the game, I don't think I beat the 13th level in the "correct" way, since I found it even harder trying to use the yellow ball to beat the level.

msipp27 2021-04-29 17:45

it's harmless, not armless, very fun though!

virimine 2021-04-29 20:17

Nice mechanics! really unique idea and well executed! I loved the levels~ Gj guys

asdehielo 2021-05-03 12:24

Very cool mechanic, good visual effects, amazing music and sounds.

I feel like the levels needed a bit more testing tho, I completed many of them simply by going fast to the exit, not even going deeper. In fact, I completed the last level without going to the 3rd depth level.

Still an awesome game, congrats!

j0ye 2021-05-03 12:37

This is one of those games you have to look out for. Original idea, simple but well executed graphics, great sound and polished. Im really impressed. Sadly i ran into an error, i believe. I died too many times on level 6 and after a while the blue character wouldn't block or move the bullets anymore. He would walk right through them.

kotzi 2021-05-03 13:14

Wow, this is an amazing game, congrats!

efeckk2 2021-05-03 13:48

It is a bit hard to control, and since the music, bullets and visuals giving the feeling of a *fast* game, it could be faster. It would be more fun that way in my opinion. Cool idea, but you could implement the theme in another way. Music and graphics were pretty good. 3rd depth level seem like it doesn't have much to do. Maybe a tutorial would help understanding the game mechanics well. Congrats!

florianduf 2021-05-03 14:05

The game is very nice. He is polish and love the concept, the music, the graphism.

And I think, it's an orignal game mechanic.

Congrats !

maniulo 2021-05-03 19:49

Fun game with great visuals. Glitched on me when 2nd level circle stopped bouncing the bullets on level 7. Agree with other folks above that the last level is actually easier to beat without using the 3rd level, but I guess that is something that could easily be fixed with some balancing.

itooh 2021-05-04 19:35

Really great visuals! I really like the tilt effect when you pass to one frame to another. The concept is cool, however the difficulty might be too high to appreciate it. It's only at level 13 that we're introduced to the third frame, and even there the challenge is really tough. With all those bullets, it gets frustrating too quickly. Especially given the fact that pushing bullets isn't really precise. most of the time they end up not where I want them to be, and it takes some time to properly circle them and push them away. So as much as I like the idea, I think it can be improved. But still, I must applaud for the level of polishing!

yamzho 2021-05-05 14:06

Wow, quel jeu !

The game is really super fun! frankly bravo everything makes great, the music, the graphics .. I really had fun for once ^^

I find that sometimes the player's speed is a bit low, but ultimately it's not a big deal ^^

fer9001 2021-05-05 16:35

awesome game with great visuals, It is a bit hard to control but overall a great game

crazyrems 2021-05-10 20:34

Really great game, although a bit hard to master. Soundtrack and post effects settles the mood of the game so well.

curtis-pelissier 2021-05-14 15:28

Bravo les gars, j'ai adoré votre jeu et en plus, comme je vous l'expliquais en live, je le vois vraiment speerunnable dans une version plus complète ! Donc bonne continuation et j'espère que vous le porterez assez loin pour qu'il soit complet

franklins-ghost 2021-05-15 13:25

Such a polished game. Loved everything about it, thought it all worked so well together with the art music and gameplay mechanics. The graphics were great and the effects were so good. The switching between levels and different colours made it so nice to play around with and liked how you had to use the different levels with their own skills to progress through the levels. Great entry :)

zubspace 2021-05-16 20:46

Wow! This is definitely one of the most creative mechanics I've ever seen! It's a complete mind bender in a good way. Starts simple, but the post jam levels are otherworldly. Pure awesome! You really did something special there. The controls, shader magic, particle effects and the bumpy music are perfect. Kudos!

2021-05-16 21:13

That was a really neat mechanic. Feels unfortunate that the (ludum dare) levels only used the yellow one once (and even then it was passable without).

Took me some seconds to realize the menu was a game but that was a nice touch.

Loved being able to push away and destroy the bullets, great job!

bodamat 2021-05-18 14:56

interesting idea! It's sometimes hard and need to think more deep. I like it!
