This a really cool idea, Love the story and the notes. My only gripe is related to the "screeching" audio with the skeleton! Little too loud imo! But other than that well done!

WOW! what really blew me away was the atmosphere you managed to create. It might have been a touch too dark at the start, on the surface, but in the mine, it works really well.
Incredible work! Love the atmosphere. Gotta be honest, I ended up brute forcing the door puzzle after wandering around for several minutes and only finding 2 clues. Also, I'm glad you prevented me from doing anything else until I figured out how the blood crystals work. It took me a minute to get, but I totally would've left and wandered around forever otherwise.
@dylan-morrow Glad you enjoyed it! Apologies for the jumpscare audio being a little too loud, may go back and turn it down!
@id-sketch Thank you! I'd estimate around 70% of my work was getting the atmosphere, lighting, and sound triggers as perfect as possible, so I'm really happy to hear that
@goggleskitty So happy you picked up on my little trick there - I figured the mechanic would be a little bit too obscure otherwise. I'm also hearing back from a few others that they couldn't find the extra password, so I might end up going back and making that a little bit more signposted
Thanks so much!
Damn! This game is cool , the psychotic atmosphere is insane at the end of the game! Great job !
PS: Did the pizzas was good ? ;)
Really good entry. Amazing ending.
Nicely done, very atmospheric. I only found one puzzle clue (I only saw here in the comments that there are supposed to be multiple), so I brute forced the rest of the puzzle too. Having the diamond rotate was a bit mean, as it looks the same in all orientations :p
I think my game might have glitched out at or right before the ending, !> I used the golden key to go into the room with tentacles, then into that tunnel with the trippy moving walls, but at the end of that the textures just disappeared, and I saw a mostly black screen with some red noise. Maybe some object was in the middle of the screen, rotating? It was hard to tell.
Is that the end, or did I miss something?
I also had an odd performance issue all the way until the elevator, movement was smooth, but looking around with the mouse was super laggy and choppy. Maybe it's something to do with all the objects in those scenes?
I guess I can't be surprised that someone else would have a game about unions in mines, great minds think alike after all! Jokes aside this is an amazing game, the atmosphere is great. My favourite part is how small the player character is in relation to everything, really enjoyed jumping about on the shelves like the tiny goblin you are. It helps to set the mood very effectively. I noticed in the hall leading up to the elevator the lighting with the two torches was a bit messy, but overall the low-poly graphics style was really cool, lo-fi horror is the best. The transition from mystery into horror with the one way elevator was great as well, really cool stuff
@ditam Is that the point where your lantern shatters? What's happening there is there's a red light at the end giving off a very small amount of red light (Which would scatter around the normal map, thus the "noise" you're seeing) and you're supposed to continue forward, providing everything is working as expected. Interesting that your performance was bad until you hit the elevator, that means something in the top must be causing some issues. Was this in the WebGL build or Windows? Thank you so much for the detailed feedback!
@ilyas-aqil I've been having some trouble with torches placed in close proximity to eachother so I'm unfortunately not surprised that's been causing some issues for people. I'm really glad you enjoyed the game, and I'm so happy you picked up on the aspect of the goblin's size - Flek's out of her depth, so to speak!
Echoing what @ilyas-aqil said, this was an awesome game. The scale and feel of it is great, the atmosphere works really well. I was a little stuck on the puzzles, but that made it all the more satisfying when I figured it out. It was never unfairly challenging. The whole confusion, overbearing, sense of being lost fit in with the theme. It got progressively creepier till the end whcih is so trippy and exciting to watch. Just, the way the game flowed at the end.
The union messaging was on point and hilarious. The environmental storytelling throughout the first section was engaging, with the letters and the rooms and everything. Even the puzzle elements had such cool messaging to it.
All in all, I loved it!
@caladrius I figured the lantern might have broken, so I kept pressing forward for a while, but nothing seemed to happen from that point on. I was using the WebGL build in Chrome latest.
Wow, the begining wow not my thing. I was spinning in circles until i found the thrid corridor from the chamber with door to the kitchen and then i could get all the clues. The second part was better for me, the wall textures and squishy footsteps definitely switched the gear for me. Then the last part was tripy as hell, very cool. Congrats!
Very impressive! The amount of content and the huge world all done in 72 hours is really a massive task! Kudos !
Very nice models and animation. Good job!
@verlanman thank you so much, 3 days of modelling straight to get all the assets done.
What a fun idea! Feels very polished. GZ!.
I love horror games and the jumpscares scared crap out of me! Very cool looking evironment and cool lighting. Really enjoyed it!
Nice Atmosphere and especially music!! I was not able to get passed the first door as my browser messes around with the cursor, not sure it is possible to catch the mouse completely? took me a while to locate the very first key as, walked up the stairs next to the dungeon and was getting messages in a foreign language. Thanks for the game :)
@oc1d I recommend downloading the Windows build, the WebGL version can be really weird with mouse capturing depending on browser!
Jabroni!!! I admit, I spent half of my playing time jumping on everything I possibly could. It was so smooth! I certainly did NOT want to go deeper in this instance. I shit myself a little bit. Creepy as hell. Great job!
The lighting was good and set the mood well
Very spooky game! Nice use of models and textures. I loved that the main menu would move the camera around to other areas, it reminded me of early rare game like Conkers and Banjo.
Unfortunately I got stuck in the room after the evelator goes down, I couldn't interact with anything and had to quit.
@okaylobster approaching the crystals should cause them to explode and open doors :)
I don't play spooky games usually but I need to try this game and I need to say that enjoyed the play :D Nice graphics and main menus options, was very useful
I played this game for the longest time yet. It took me forever to find all the clues for the door combination, but once I got into the mines it started getting pretty interesting. The jump scare where the skeleton popped out of the locker got me really bad, I wasn't expecting it at all. After that, I was a little more cautious in the mines. I really liked the final scene where you go into the final door. Nice ending. The only thing I might suggest is to make it easier to get into the mine because I almost gave up. Also, I kept wanting to climb the ladders, so it might be better either to remove them, or make them climbable. Overall, really interesting game. Good job!
i'm glad that the mines are being sabotaged and are dead, they deserve it for treating their employees worse then what they mine
This is such a good looking game. I enjoyed just walking around, exploring the mine even if I wasn't able to solve the second puzzle lol (the one where you have to rotate the card suits). I honestly think this would work as a walking simulator, with such good music and graphics.
My only suggestion would be to get rid of the stairs. When you are in a cave, you don't see stairs. You see natural ramps, and that little bit of realism would take your game to another level.
Great job nevertheless, congrats!
start menu buttons were completely non-responsive in the pc version, preventing the game from being started. webgl build was unusably slow. @ me if you end up uploading a new build and i'll take another look
Very cool! Great atmosphere!
Sorry @miej, completely unable to replicate the non-responsive button issue and this is the first I've heard of it from anybody - do you have any other information you can give me? A video recording would be super handy as well. Thanks!
@caladrius - yeah...not sure exactly what's going on. but here's a short recording of the non-functionality. the yellow circles are mouse clicks: https://imgur.com/a/2tJyCyz
Easiest puzzle I've ever seen Kappa. Thanks for submitting it! -PomoTheDog
Great atmosphere. I think you did a great job with the lighting. Great setting and concept as well.
Gotta love that craft
Ok, this game is creepy as fuck. very nice puzzle game. The graphics and sounds are amazing. I got scared with the skeleton inside the door. Under the mine, the red section it was hard, fucking maze, is it too much to ask for a map? hahaha Also, the crystals. Its a nice mechaninc to open doors, but sometimes I didnt know which door I was oppening, maybe to put a color in each door/crystal corresponding, or a symbol, to we knoww which door it will be open. That part when is everything dark, I coudlnt see shit, I was praying to go to the right place and not coming back hahahaha but I managed to get at the end, but I dont know if I died or won? I just found a big red creature. And what was that number, 5364? It should be a password for something? I didnt use for nothing. Nice game, congrats! =)

Goblins unite! We loved this game. So atmospheric with great sound design, puzzles and storytelling. Had an almost Outer Wilds feel to it. Top marks!
