Really simple yet smooth. I think you should add more gameplay mechanics but overall it was nice. Good job!

I really love that "pop" :D
Incredibly good game feel, this was really fun. Music is nice and the "pop" is really satisfying. The trail behind the character is a nice touch, and being able to see your past death spots was SUCH a good idea! Loved this one a lot.
Pretty cool game and honestly very impressive for only 4 hours! I especially liked the music and sound effects!
@fabighindaru - Thanks for playing and for the feedback. Given the limited time I could dedicate to the game, I couldn't add additional mechanics. But, believe me, I wish I had time to add another layer or two of tactics!
@tescoone - Mouth sound effects for the win! Thanks for playing!
@tad-i-guess - Thanks for the kind words. It's great to hear that someone noticed the past deaths! It was the last concept I managed to squeeze into the game before I had to return to my "normal" life. I'm glad someone noticed it :)
@fargred - Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Gah, the kill sound is too gratifying. I just want to collide with things! Nice presentation man!
Wow, this is better than most games I've tried so far, and made in only 4 hours! It's very simple but well done. The control feels perfect to me, just the right amount of acceleration. The graphic style is also good, a nice choice of colors and I like how it seems you're rotating around a cylinder. One thing that I found unclear is when you die, the first times I didn't realize I was already dead until I burst into particles. Still, well done!
Very clean submission! I like the subtle screen bend effect and the music a lot! Where is the music from? free source/midi/played? Well done!
@airwaffle - Nothing wrong with constantly slamming into things. If nothing else, you're stacking up a bunch of dead yellow bodies to see on your next play ;)
@vasco-freitas - In hindsight, I probably should have had some sort of health indicator in the game. But, I was shooting for a minimal UI. As it stands, the indicator of "you're dead" is after you impact a 3rd obstacle hard enough, time slows down for a bit and your Yellow Square has the ages-old sign of 'dead X eyes.' Not the most obvious signs of death, to be sure. Thanks for playing!
Surprisingly fun ! It is strange being penalized when hitting objects, as the pinball like physics feel good :)
@neonjeff - Thanks for playing and the kind words. The music is from my mind brought to life by my '96 Fender Toronado guitar recorded with Audacity
@trabitboy - Haha. Thanks for playing and the feedback :)
Yeah, like others said, this felt pretty good... nice job on the music loop too... it's what stood out to me the most. Thanks for the game! :)
Fun and excellent feedback in all the right places with sound, animation, vfx. Impressive for 4h for sure.
Ha, the music loop is so groovy. Really pleasant little game. Good visuals and audio effects, nice controls. Just really solid overall. Very nicely done.
Very simple, for 4 hours this is amazingly scoped, super small yet polished for the time you had. its fun even if the random generation could feel somewhat unfair at times. Great work keeping it small and submitting something fun and polished
This was really nice - a polished and tightly designed experience. Everything was very nice :ok_hand: from the music to the sound effects to the particle effects. The ghost shadow of your past deaths was a really good touch too. I played this way more times than I expected to.
My best score was 491. I like the music a lot, it is dead simple, but really makes the mood for me. Overall the game is very small as you've written in the description as you worked 4 hours. If compo is the hard mode than yours is ultra hard. :) It is very good that you found time to participate in the jam. Congratulations!
Great use of the theme!
I love that you get to jump into the game right away... and that you get to dive super fast! Nice and tight controls, and all this in only 4 hours?
...and yes, as you hoped, I had at least a little fun
Seeing the past deaths remaining on screen as a highscore tracker is really cool
It's really impressive for a game made with so little time! Super simple concept but it's fun to play!
Very simple but fun game. The hit sounds were so satisfying to the point I didn't mind losing lol. I liked the detail of leaving your corpse for you to see on subsequente runs.
A nice time killer!
Good job making this game! Especially considering it was made in only 4 hours!
Should you want to keep working on the game, the graphics could use a bit more polish. But the core gameplay is already done and fun!
Simple but fun, I think I would enjoy it much more if the controls were a bit tighter though.
Such a great job with so little time! As you mentioned we went for a similar thing which makes it all the more fun to try!! I loved being able to see my previous attempts on re-runs, and as others have mentioned the sound when hitting obstacles is so good it's hard to resist :)
Fun little time waster, super impressive for just 4 hours. It does suffer from the usual unity-webgl-related lag on some machines (haven't we all been there...) but I can't fault you for that. You were right, we did have pretty much the same idea. I like the multiplayer mechanics in the postLD version as well!
Great! I like this! I had 174 points! I got interesting experience, thanks!
Simple gameplay but everything is solidly implemented. Controls are good, sounds and particles make me not even mind hitting the obstacles. The ghosts to show where you died previously are a nice touch. Good job!
Only 4 hours?! Maybe you should host a game jam with 4 hours.
