nicely done! I really enjoyed the design of the last level -- multiple easily-made mistakes, but ultimately I was able to winnow away impossibilities and solve it

Well put together! I was a little unsure of how to interact with the menus initially (since they don't use quite the same controls at the rest of the game), but once into the puzzles everything went very smoothly. The puzzles themselves were smart and rewarding to reason about, with some neat realisations. All in all, great work!
Incredible game, I loved the last level. I think it would be nice to have left click also advance dialogue, as it is slightly confusing having to press space after interacting with the menu using only the mouse.
Super cool simple yet clever puzzle mechanic! While I couldn't make it past level 6, I could totally see myself coming back to try it once more :D
It is very difficult (got stuck at puzzle 5), but the puzzle mechanics here are super solid!
Thank you for playing, everyone! I'm really glad that some people enjoyed the last level. It was actually one of the two levels I had enough time to make sure it's a good level, before finding a game-breaking bug which took me most of the time to fix. So it's my fault if you got stuck on level 5 or 6, they are not well-designed.
@tjm @stevenjmiller Oops, I forgot to turn off the mouse control in the menu. I'm reusing code from my old game, and in that game I needed mouse control to implement changing key bindings.
Woah!!!!! I got totally stuck on level 7 : (
This is a sweet puzzle game! Once my character fell through to the next level my jaw dropped!
The difficulty progression was way high for sure, it's a pretty complicated system you have so there's plenty of time to slow roll it.
The art was cute for what it was too!
Lovely game name! I can feel that you have put a lot of effort into the scene model. The atmosphere of expression is also very close to the theme. excellent!
Amazing game. It really got me. The explanations could be better though. I got stuck for a while at the beginning (the game does not tell you to press space). Overall very well done.
This is hands-down the best puzzle game I played this LD. It becomes challenging very fast, but doesn't need to introduce a lot of new concepts all the time. The level design was balanced and didactically thought through. I love how clear the rules and the problems were, and yet it took me quite a while to think about them. Congrats on this very cool concept, I'm a bit jealous actually
Nice game! I was wondering: why didnt you add a webGL build?
Really nice puzzle game, short but with quality levels! It feels like there is a lot of extra possibility space to explore, so it has potential to become something bigger if you want to keep working on it. Very nice work!
@avi I just haven't learned how to make a webGL build. The first time I tried to make a game with Unity, it took me a huge amount of time to make it work even after exporting, like window size and whatnot. The mere thought of learning a new build frightens me:worried: but I guess I have to do it someday.
excuse my language, but that last level was an absolute bastard lol. really fun puzzle designs here. i really had to plan out my moves from the get go. though it feels like theres potential for many more levelsUntitled.png that was so satisfying
Neat puzzle game, good concept and great execution. Every little mechanic is well introduced. I could see the puzzles becoming very convoluted if you decide to keep working on it.
Also, props for having level selection, it's something I've missed in many games.
Solid game, great job!
Very nice system you came up with. I got stuck on level 7, couldn't figure it out ;)
Improve presentation post-jam, add some sounds and this could be a great game.
Update: figured out level 7 in my sleep last night!!!!! Lovely game
Nice, nice. This is the type of a game to play on TV with remote. You should contact TV manufacturers and sell it to them. I am serious, you can easily earn 10k-100k with just few calls and some polishing.
Very nice puzzles! There's definitely a lot of room to add more puzzles that make use of the depth mechanic if you were to expand this further. The graphics were really clean, and the scene transition effect was really neat. Great work!
Nice puzzle game, simple but well executed. I think you have room to polish it as it is a bit rough around the edges. Keep it up!
This is a really nice puzzle game. Something I liked in particular is that, whenever a new concept was introduced, the first thing I tried would usually fail--this was a cool way of making me learn more about the game. I honestly didn't think level 5 or 6 were bad at all. Still working on level 7 though. EDIT: Just figured it out! It was good too.
A couple small thoughts: - I like the graphical style here. Really crisp and clean. - I enjoyed the little quotes before the first two levels. I imagine you were planning more..? Either way it was nice. - I think it would be nice if I could hold the undo key and get multiple undos. Right now undoing is very tedious. - My computer is high DPI and so the game is a little small--I told Windows to scale it up and it's fine, but it would probably be nice to just make the window resizable.
This was really clever! I liked how the levels didn't become massively complicated here; you explored the concept very kindly. The final level was a great stumper, I liked it a lot! The controls felt a bit sluggish; I often tried to move again without the game letting me. Still, very very cool!
