I stressed at the end with the multiple holes of TNT, but managed to beat the game with... 0 stroke remaining  That was some skillful play! Congratulations! :fireworks:

Hey there! So once I finally figured out that right mouse click sets your trajectory, I was able to figure out how to play this and it was surprisingly fun as golf games tend to be.
A few minor things that would be good to keep in mind next time: I would disable the colliders on the scarecrows after they are destroyed because multiple times the scarecrow destroyed in such a way I couldn't move the ball anymore. Additionally - there doesn't seem to be any way to control how hard you swing so the ball felt a little bit lethargic. Also - brutally difficult from the get go, it took like 10 tries to get to second scarecrow and I felt like I had to cheese system to do that!
Nice job overall though - and congrats on submitting.
@morphine Hey thanks for playing the game and leaving a comment! For anyone reading the comments in the future though you can increase the swing power by clicking on the on-screen buttons in the lower right corner. Controls.PNG
**edit:** which I'm also now realizing have a typo....
@jimmothysanchez Ohhhh is that what the + and - did, I thought they were for music volume!
@morphine Ah, yeah. I was trying not to have the screen be too busy by adding too much text, but I guess it doesn't read as well.
I really wish you included the graphics category for ratings because I loved the look of this game! The lighting did a really good job of setting the mood. In terms of gameplay, it was definitely fun once I got the hang of it, but I wish the ball was a little lighter (in order to make it travel as far as I wanted it to I had to hit it really hard, and then it usually ended up bouncing back to where I started).
@dninosores Oh man. Not sure why you can't. I'm pretty sure I checked those checkboxes when I set this page up, but it looks like I didn't and I can't change it now for some reason. oof
@dninosores Thanks for bringing the missing ratings categories to my attention. I was able to reach out and get that fixed!
really nice graphics! didnt realize that the + / - were for powering up the shots. I think one thing that would help a lot would be to offset the camera position a little to the side, so that the player doesnt just see a straight line upwards indicating the trajectory of the ball, but instead a more 3d-representative direction. nice entry!
I really enjoyed the graphics and design. I couldn't throw the ball to the left at the start, was that on purpose?
Loved the look of the game. Managed to win with one stroke remaining. One tip though, bind the power to the mouse wheel. Otherwise very good entry.
Cool concept, dope aesthetic, and the name rocks too :) The trickiest part for me was trying to understand where those pink orbs are in 3-dimensional space. If that was a little easier to understand, then you have a solid entry here with ample room for expansion. Nice work!
Fun theme :D and it looks great.
This was so fun, I was soooo close to the end and ran out of strokes! I thought it was going to be a typical golf game but I love that it's more like an adventure platformer. The scarecrow targets were a really good way to guide the player's aim and give mini goals along the way. The physics of the ball were pretty interesting, due to the bumps. I wish the golf controls were a bit more diegetic instead of being UI buttons. The camera angle on the ball felt too close too - it made the prediction line hard to see.
That was great fun! The graphics were amazing, even though my computer barely survived the real time reflections... Lovely entry
Beautiful, fun to play, the simple track added to a great mood. The UI is the weak spot, but yeah... compo
Had fun with this, completed it on 5th (or so) attempt.
Good job, and thank you for this game
I quite enjoyed the game albeit I didn't get too far. Like the idea as to how to play it.
Great Job for a Compo.
Nice game. The music and the graphical style go together well to make a sort of weird fantasy sci-fi feel. I had to turn all my shots a bit to the side to actually see where they were going, it might have been better to have the camera offset in an over-the-shoulder way. I wonder if the dummies shouldn't actually block the ball. Because they're largely rectangular you are very limited in the ways you can bank off of them, so you generally just waste a shot to pick up +2. Would be cool if there were more possibilities to pick up the dummies while also going where you want to.
