Cool little game, took me a while to understand it but after that and getting a good setup, I was reaping in those sweet gains :). Nice graphics and music, didn't even know you could do such complex graphics with python.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to run this. It crashed and I reloaded it and it got to the congrats screen and then hung. I'm running OpenGL 4.5, so I'm not sure what's going on. I'm disappointed as this looks like a great game. Congrats on completing though! (I didn't rate any categories)

This a really relaxing little game and I really like the mechanics in place. I feel if you had more time you could really build on them and create something pretty cool.

eruiz00 2016-12-12 18:42

Hey very innovative game!

kd7uiy 2016-12-12 18:53

Looks great, but after downloading it, I'm getting an error: "AssertionError: _current_shader_context != NULL at line 6010 of c:\projekte\panda3d\src\glstuff\glGraphicStateGuardian_src.cxx". Something to do with rendering pipeline. Too bad, it looks great!

makhovykh 2016-12-12 19:18

Good game)

nikitapash 2016-12-12 20:37

The mechanics are good

zarkonnen 2016-12-12 20:37

Impressive details and graphics. :)

Some files seem to be missing ... can't get it to run.

A nice relaxing game. The music fit really well with the mood. The posters giving you game-play instructions was a nice touch, but I was a little lost that the red tables meant meeting tables, and the paths were meant to be paths. Once I figured it out though, I had fun trying to minimize roots and paths.

Not being able to select what you wanted, and having to choose between the pieces was a nice touch, forcing you to make sacrifices in the layout. Once I got into the green, there was little to do though. A way to use the money, or some type of end goal would have been nice.

Overall, It's a nice starting point for a simulator or tycoon game!

I think this concept has a lot of potential. A simulation game where placement formation has different benefits is pretty awesome. Kinda like the sims except placement isn't completely arbitrary. If things other than the tables could form up (like 4 plants into a tree) and create different benefits, then you can force the player to make some pretty compelling decisions.

huvaakoodia 2016-12-13 12:22

A neat simulation, but sure enough this doesn't work as a game as there's no way to win or lose!

On the technical side the graphic are simple yet competent. The performance isn't great though. Fullscreen is pretty much out of the question on my computer.

Turning a profit takes a while, but of course it doesn't really matter in this case. The real-time profit per hour counter is great. Someone goes for a drink of water, the profits plummet!

Lastly, I would like to be able to hire and sack staff as I see fit. At the moment there's a lot of empty tables at Torture & Cookies ltd and Jennifer is getting on my nerves!

A fun game with a quiet music which fits really well with the mood. The aesthetic is good. Well done ++

tkachov 2016-12-16 06:53

Very nicely done! Even when I knew I don't have anything left to do anymore, I wanted to spend some time just watching how that goes.

Then I just didn't do anything the whole day just to see how much the employees can get within one day: it's something like 935$ with 145$/h at max somewhat around 12:30.

wowa_u 2016-12-17 11:50

Could not start the game. Error log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yao7nxvwt6ahlld/log.txt?dl=1

Interesting little game, it's quite relaxing to see the small characters working. The graphics are minimalist but allow to focus more on the object's placement. Good job !

doxm 2016-12-17 14:42

I can't run it, it is not responding and it quits after the panda logo.

ThijsTak 2016-12-17 15:31

Unfortunately I was unable to run the game due to an outdated gpu.

tezra 2016-12-22 05:17

I like that there's a bit of tutorial in the room itself :) always enjoy a good simulation game and this one is not bad. I knew what to do when I hover over my employees to look at their current status. Without a goal it is hard to continue much further.

dollarone 2017-01-02 23:52

I am not a good MD.

Although I do have a nice office with lots of water coolers and plenty of tables!

This was a cool and fun simulator. Would be great to have a tutorial and maybe some "missions", but that might come in the post-LD version!

Great graphics and relaxing music! Good work!
