Amazing!

vodish 2018-12-04 03:19

I really like what you did! Just lacking a small music, and a goal, or I didn't go far enough maybe to see a real boss?

jimmothysanchez 2018-12-04 03:22

Very cool. Just a heads up I had to rename the data folder in order to get it to play correctly.

nikolaj 2018-12-04 03:24

Cool concept, I like the robot, and thank you for making a web game.

doug-graham 2018-12-04 03:25

1893 score. Really great game. Loved the concept of if, audio got a little repetitive. It would have been nice to be able to see where me and the enemy were and where I was facing on the minimap. These are mostly just nit-picky though, Solid entry!

diogo-rocha 2018-12-04 03:28

@vodish The idea is for it to be an arcade game, without an "end goal". We wanted to implement different monsters, but ended up without enough time xD

@jimmothysanchez Thanks for the heads up, we'll fix it asap!

deltanutmeg 2018-12-04 03:28

Played until I died, got 2813 score. Great game, I love the art style. It's a bit repetitive though.

Loved the graphics, the theme and the gameplay mechanics. It is really different from what we normally expect by the jam theme. Really fun!

jevgeni-orehhov 2018-12-04 10:05

Cool concept. I liked running around the city and throwing buildings and monsters. It's like "Team America" when they were saving the world ruining in the process. Very funny :) It would be even cooler if you added dead citizens counter. To see how many lifes were sacrified to save the rest :)

hydezeke 2018-12-04 15:13

Really love the idea and want more. I love the visual style too. Would've loved more abilities/enemy variety, but what you have so far is top notch for a game jam.

This one reminded me of King of the Mosnters, I loved that game! Really nice presentation, the game is fun to play and controls are easy and smooth. The low res (playing on browser here) gives it a retro feel that I loved. Simple and very entertaining entry, congrats on delivering this!

Really nice. Really solid piece of work. I enjoyed so much playing your game!

azargaz 2018-12-04 22:00

Very cool, sweet gameplay, unique graphics and good sound design. I love big robots vs big monsters and I wish you had some real kaiju instead of floating octahedrons but it's okay. (By the way are they Evangelion reference?)

zaza 2018-12-04 22:06

@azargaz thanks! yeah they are an eva reference lmao! at first i was going for a godzilla themed kaiju but ended up with the eva angel because of my lazyness cof cof i mean, time constraints.

crashmusashi 2018-12-04 23:42

One of the best concepts I've played so far! Great presentation, too!

Loved the "name your city" detail.

Really enjoyed it!

gswong 2018-12-05 00:25

Great game! Reminds me of the ill-fated Mega Man Legends series 😢.

joker-v 2018-12-05 04:54

Remind me of EVA, automan? Good idea throw the building to attack, great job!!

vimlark 2018-12-05 10:05

I had a lot of fun with this. It has a great style and feel. Some epic music and a ranking system would top it off.

kloscunha 2018-12-05 12:55

Fun game, the alien design reminds me of that one Angel from Evangelion. Good stuff.

papabirb 2018-12-06 11:39

Pretty fun, lacking some music though to help keep it from being just "run around and spam click til the boss or city is dead". Sometimes my robot got stuck running forward (my W key wasn't stuck, though, I don't think, since I kept tapping it to fix the movement and it felt normal. The robot just felt like running post-input). I like the graphics, some variation in the monster designs would have been cool, less wait time between the spawning or otherwise city regen between spawns would been nice.
