The best game on LD37 i played so far. It's so polished and completed. I mean, with some more work (more levels, mechanics) you could launch on steam greenlight :D. Great job on recreating retro games vibe.
BTW Monogame on LD? That's rare, you really must have a lot of experience
Awesome game. Really enjoyable. I feel the mechanics and puzzles were well thought out. Great job!

Really reminded me of nes games. Wish there was some old school music.

I really liked the game! the gameplay and the dynamics were fun. The audio that was there was really good! I just wished there would've been a constant background music so the effects weren't so jarring!

Retro feels :-) Bit strange to be feeling this way over game that was made last weekend, but still.
I got stuck on a symetrical island w. 2 land-pull-irons where the hook couldn't reach them, two green monsters, two pillars and a slice of cheese.
You might want to play a sfx when time is nearly running out? Otherwise people might think they died for no reason.
Overall I enjoyed this a lot :-)
@rburema you can hook down to the left hook from above it. The grappling hook will just reach it.
Fun game! Not my favorite kind of game, but I enjoyed it

Love the gameplay and how you can move the islands around to progress! Some of the best work I've seen on here so far! 5/5
Awesome and impressive game. But it didn't really fit the theme at all
@soundless_dev Yep. The idea initially was you were in a single room and had to pull parts of the level to you rather than move to them. I didn't really didn't pursue it far enough, but still enjoyed making it.

Absolutely one of the best games I've ever played, Triple A title or otherwise. Would consider paying money for the game on Steam.
I loved the feel of the game. The graphics were great and the music fit the rest of the presentation nicely.
The only comment I have is the controls felt a little awkward. I couldn't reliably turn without walking to attack enemies close to me, but the delay was annoying when I just wanted to move. I can't think of a way to solve it better than it works today, so take that with a grain of salt!
Very nice!
Unrelated to other comments, but just as a reward to those that do read these comment; my father got a look at the game when I stopped in yesterday after the competition for Sunday dinner and his first comment is, "Why did you draw a mouse in a speedo?" I told him they were shorts and it was suppost to be cute. His response, "No, Mickey is wearing shorts; that's a speedo." Thanks Dad.
Nice game, really good and original concept ! The controls were a bit slow to respond though (because of the ground divided into squares). And I also died one time without really knowing why (there was a dinosaur but he didn't shoot at me).
But once again I really like your concept !!!

Very well made game, sound fx get a but annoying after a while.
This game was very enjoyable. I loved the how the audio and graphics gave it a retro feel. It really reminds me of something, but I can't place it. Fantastic entry, well done! And kudos for using MonoGame, I am quite fond of the framework myself :)

Nice speedo-mouse-game! ;) Fun playing it! Controls didn't seem to obey me always though? And as commented before the theme might not have been 100% incorporated. But a great game still!
