As others have said, fix the itch link!
The hit sound does get repetitive. The sfx would have benefitted from some volume/pitch variation. I like the amount of variation you managed to include in an otherwise simple clicking game.
Hate that I couldn't continue the game, because it look very funny, but lateral movement was not working for me (A and D). All I could do was shoot and jump in place.
The puzzles and story are great! The animations on the hand were nice too. My biggest complaint is that, past a certain point, the voice lines become rather repetitive. Great overall entry
The controls are tight, game is easy to understand, and has good juice / game feel. Great job!
I couldn't do any tricks. Even J + W didn't seem to do anything. Maybe I didn't understand the controls though
The polish on everything is amazing. Great game feel, UI, enemy animation. Out of the 20ish games I've played so far, this is probably my favorite! The only thing that would have made the game feel more complete is a music track.
I love the tutorial in the beginning. The game is easy to understand and fun to explore. The wave shader on the text was a nice touch!
I really like the mood and atmosphere. My biggest criticism is the player movement. The character feels too floaty. The variable jump height is good but I think the character needs to decelerate a little bit upon releasing the jump before falling down. I also think the gravity needs to be stronger such that the player falls down faster. Great entry! Reminds me of what I enjoyed in Animal Well.
I enjoyed the humor as well as the reference to Mammoth Cave. Some varying visuals on screen or even a simple background audio track would have really elevated the whole experience.
The mood is really great. I wish there was a way to more quickly restart instead of having to go through all the introductory dialogue upon every death.
The game feels very polished with the inventory mechanics, animation of the character, and introductory illustrations. All that is missing is a background track for it to feel like a complete game.
The game is fun and the music is great! Even with bee boxes, I felt like I'm spamming 'E' way too much to pickup items. Maybe the game would have been better with faster bees or cheaper electrical boxes to minimize the amount of crystals I have to manually pick up. Either way, great entry.
Good humor! The music would benefit from some softer instrumentation as the synth sounds feel harsh after repetition
You need to upload or link your game (as well as the source code)
The dash feels too aggressive and hard to control for me. I like the wall running, level design, and atmosphere.
I got hooked into the world and story. Great entry! I thought the player controller was a bit weird. When I release the movement controls my character keeps moving a bit and then makes an abrupt stop. Maybe the accel/deccel mechanism could have been adjusted better.
Fun game and creative concept. I think a clearer game objective shown at the start would have helped the initial confusion I had with the mechanics.
A water shader would have really elevated the visuals. Even with the revealing picture in the background, the game feels a little too static.
