Had a lot of fun playing and the endless maze-hell was a great distraction from work! The music didn't seem to fit, unfortunately, as it was too happy. I loved the falling to the next floor animation, though! :)
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Labyrinth of the Undead

I like the palette and know the cutscene on level transition! I didn't think there were much choice in the paths of the maze, which makes it a bit samey after a while. An animation on the player move would be great, like rolling, or rocket blast ! You could implement a combo system ( if you time your presses in a certain way, you go faster and faster )
Nice!
I liked the musing, but it disturbed a little bit, that the track restarted on each level, it would be better to let the track continue to play regardgless of level/menu etc.
A little movement animation would have been visually appealing. The controls are fine for this time of game.
I love the randomness int he level generation AND i love the fact, that you don't have to start in the smallest maze again, when losing, so you can try to beat "that" level again and again. The amount of time you get to solve a level seems to be fair.
The "fall down animation" is great, i loved it. Also the game over screen has been nicely done - good job!
And you have included a little tutorial in the game - bonus points for that!
im very impressed with how well the generated mase plays out, i played it quite a bit and only once did i get a VERY easy mission, i like what the devs did with the theme, because its top down you cant get a sense of going deeper but then u are slapped in the face with a funny cutscene of a guy falling deeper.that thud got me everytime.
Really nice labyrinth game, nicely made. The sound is a bit loud though, maybe turn it down a little by default.
That fall! I kept playing just for that! :)
I got a record score of 35 Squares! The audio feedback helps the user know where the character is crashing but its a bit harsh on the ears. The procedural generation was cool and the maze levels increasing in difficulty were very challenging. Congrats on a cool game! <3
the game started off interesting, but I quickly lost interest as the mazes didn't add any new mechanics, but instead just got bigger as the game progressed. The graphics were not bad, and overal it wasn't a bad experience. I hope that you do well in the scoring and look forward to your next game jam entry.
Thanks @masael255 @trabitboy @makse @nerzal @steelax @yellowkamel @autogibbon @chrisap and @almighty-games for playing, reviewing and rating my game. Appreciate all your feedback and comments.
I found the game to be quite fun, the biggest issues I had were with there being no delay for the crashing sound and the camera trailing a bit too much, as well as the exit being about 3 tiles away from the actual exit. Other than those issues, a great game.
Thanks @oldengamer. I will work on the suggestions and issues.
I like it! It's a bit lacking in some areas, but I like the challenge. I got pretty far into it it seems, and think it's pretty good. I think it could use a little facelift, or as others have suggested a couple new mechanics as it progresses. I kind of like how hateful the controls are, but maybe others may not. In general a nice entry and I enjoyed playing it.
Thanks @ezgoodnight for playing the game and this constructive feedback. I will work on it for sure.
Got to size 41, too ez
Thanks @kuviman for the playing and rating
Fun little mazes, the generation and difficulty curve is pretty well done. I would however suggest maybe giving the player some direction as the mazes get bigger and bigger. Here's a timestamped link to the stream vod: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003143985?t=1h25m34s
Thanks @bongard22 for playing and reviewing. I will work on the suggestions for sure.
Love labyrinths  don't like timers XD still had some good time playing. overall pretty complete game.
thanks @foxy for playing and the feedback !!
Love the game! Such a simple concept but executed really solidly! A little unsure of balancing - I don't think I could've actually completed my last maze (but I could just be making excuses). But controls felt super tight, gameplay was super solid, the procedural mazes were absolutely spot on too! Thanks for making it!
Thanks a lot @shubwub. Loved the feedback. and you played well :v:
Congrats on your first game jam! Although the gameplay is pretty basic, it is still a lot. Maybe it is a simple one, but it's execution is pretty good. It is nice that you managed to get procedural mazes, good job!
Thanks @bajtix for playing and reviewing. I will add more interesting things for sure.thanks again.
Hey matey, thanks for submitting your game to the stream, I had a lot of fun playing it! I hope the feedback was helpful. Here's the vod if ya wanna rewatch;

This game is like the maze on the children’s menu but for adults. I really enjoyed it, and I am now officially the world record Labyrinther of Undeads. The art is simple but cohesive, the music matches, its fun to listen to and leaves you to think about the maze. Excellent little maze game. I could see myself wasting hours on this game.
Thanks for bringing this by my stream. Here's a link to the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1004825468?t=3h51m20s

Thank you @justcamh @ramble-house-games and @marcmagus for playing the game! all feedback is appreciated and has been considered
Very cool game, especially for a first jam, congrats! I really liked the snappy controls, and props for doing some fun procgen stuff. Mazes are interesting beasts :) I played your game very early on, and like I mentioned then, I probably would've liked it a bit more if at the start of a level the game gave you some kind of indication as to which way the exit is located. As mazes get bigger, it becomes impossible to know which path to take to get closer to the exit, so if you make the wrong coin toss and arrive at a dead end, it can feel discouraging. Nonetheless it was fun!
Thanks for having me play your game on stream!
