First of all, feels like magic that it was all done in 72 hours!

The atmosphere is really fitting, it very well conveys that upbeat feeling you'd expect from this type of game.

The gameplay is a bit too hardcore for my taste, it seems that there is no consistent strategy and you just have to be lucky.

nardandas 2022-10-04 06:30

I'm not really sure that the things are all that controllable. I tried, but I made it worse by hitting them as often as I did better, and most often I couldn't catch them to hit them at all.

jess-from-online 2022-10-04 16:00

excitingly frantic and i love the humorous cyberpunk satire. it's such a goofy way to control the bots too, which is delightful. it's SO hard on the leaderboard eligible mode, i couldn't get past 2.5 yen lol. it does feel very difficult to get the correct direction from the spin kicks, controls-wise. i definitely found myself laughing as i played!

sagiii 2022-10-04 17:12

Hello I loved it gg wp. Sometimes I have issues to see my character, maybe a lighter color would be better.

stefan-laimer 2022-10-04 17:24

Really nice game! After a couple of tries I managed to get into a nice flow. And I don't know if it's on purpose, but the score doesn't get reset when you play again, so it's rather easy to get the high score :D

@stefan-laimer the scoring bug is fixed! Sorry but I will be removing your score, you are welcome to try again with a updated download! Thank you for playing! <3

arfilish 2022-10-04 17:38

It's hard for me to understand how to play it, but it was fun. Really like visuals and background music

rickylee 2022-10-04 18:48

This is super fun \o/ could have easily made this top down and 2D with the same mechanics and it would have still been quite a good game, so all the 3d art and setting is a satisfying bonus.

When I played I came 6th B)

image_2022-10-04_195504539.png

I'm documenting it here because you guys are beasts with high scores and it will be gone soon ^^

thebooksnail 2022-10-04 19:16

Pro tip: don't play this with a mouse touch pad. As I'm acustomed too for a Pomo game, the first time I played I thought the game was way too hard but the more times you play the more you figure out how to play it. I've hit 10 on the high score so I'll take a break...for now.

eugenik 2022-10-04 20:25

Amazing game

hexstart 2022-10-05 08:29

The pinball-like mechanics definitely have potential and I liked the chaos that unravels in the background. And the setting is fitting too.

The controls could use some improvement though. I'd personally try out smoothing the character movement so that it's easier to make tiny position adjustments and also maybe have the mouse control the relative character rotation instead of direct aim at the cursor.

grandblood 2022-10-05 13:48

Fun game. Like that there is a leader board so you want to play more. Played it for like 10 min. Has that chaotic fun with more discs. Good Job!

bongard22 2022-10-05 14:49

Very innovative controls that I started seeing a lot of potential in once I started to understand them. Very difficult though. I think I'll have to go back and try and git gud. Loved the discs randomly killing people though lol. Had a great time playing it on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1609528446?t=1h43m11s

elysiagriffin 2022-10-05 15:18

Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my stream!

This is the coolest game I've played so far, it takes some time to get the concept but I'm really in favor. The only "advice" I'd have is to add a direction indicator, or use a "crosshair" mousecursor, it blends in with the level too much and that makes it pretty hard to spot. But overall, you've outdone yourself, this is a gem !

trexxak 2022-10-05 20:58

I don't have a clue what I was doing but I had fun doing it. tenouttaten.

After way too many tries, I finally managed to beat you for real :)

pomo 2022-10-06 14:50

@stefan-laimer god damn it, guess I have to try for real now then :)

Also great job! glad you liked it

pomo 2022-10-06 14:56

also @stefan-laimer I gotta play your game this time! I still remember baloon rush 2 and, specially, stuck in paris quite vividly...

asbjorn 2022-10-06 15:40

This game looks great! But maybe it would be a bit more playable if it were a little slower? Just a thought - might not be right.

It wasn't obvious what the rules / scoring system is, just from looking at someone playing the game.

substain 2022-10-06 16:46

fun game! there seems to be a bug where occasionally everything is cleared but you still don't win the run. Cool mechanics though!

outfrost 2022-10-07 03:28

Cool idea, but by the gods, did the controls absolutely dismantle the mood :joy: 99% of the time I had zero clue what the trash_o_bots were doing, where they were going, or where I myself was going.

Having to keep track of three separate things, in different spots on screen and moving at different speeds, at the same time, in order to execute a single attack, was a lot. The bots behaved super unpredictably, I could almost never catch them to do the primary attack in time. Because all of that was going on, I never really noticed when my lives went down (or that I had two lives) and when the inspection guys came by. Pedestrians getting killed by the bots didn't seem to worsen my ratings, only made the bots fly more chaotically.

I'd be curious to see a post-jam build of the game with the chaos toned down, and with more intuitive action mechanics. The audio slaps, and I could see this being a fun take on the theme!

PS. Dear Unity, fix ur goddamn shader transpiler :)

timbeaudet 2022-10-07 19:15

I played this for you on [stream](https://www.twitch.tv/timbeaudet) and I think I gave good feedback there, if so give a heart, and if not, don't!!

loligxp 2022-10-07 20:36

Awesome game, very fun, the assets are used nicely, the sound is good.

all round a very good game. Slightly too hard for me, but very fun nonetheless :D

honest-dan 2022-10-07 22:57

Really solid game - a nice straight forward mechanic thats challenge yet addictive. The main thing for me was making it accessible / easier to track. I think if you made a larger crosshair cursor, and gave your character a bright outline, so you never lose your character, it'd allow players to focus on the main games challenges and strategies more.

flamboozle 2022-10-08 00:12

Solid game overall. Any game that has a leader board + the full package (main menu, settings, gameplay loop, tutorials, etc.) is highly rated by me.

The game itself was pretty difficult and I only played it a few times so I only got to about 4 yen.

Also shoutout for playing my game on stream! :v:

jvdwijk 2022-10-08 00:20

Great entry! Pretty difficult (as expected from a Pomo game) but there was definitely a learning curve to get better. As mentioned, I'd recommend changing the cursor to a more visible color as it kind of blended in with the background for me which made me lose track of where I was aiming most of the time.

tranzit 2022-10-08 01:52

really good game, fun as hell and difficult as hell too, going to try to reach top 1, Tranza is on the way to the top

coleslaughter 2022-10-09 02:51

[Nicely done, sir!](https://youtu.be/04UQz6th9Ko?t=2851)

This one's got that classic "I don't care how hard you think this is" Pomo brand, which can make it super satisfying for folks to master if they put the time in. Keep up the good work, m'dude!

mateusboga 2022-10-09 21:02

For the first half of the gameplay I didn't know that the bots go towards the mouse, so I struggled way more than I should have lol sorry you didn't get to watch it live, but here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1619874557 Thanks for submitting!

tricky-fat-cat 2022-10-12 15:22

Well, you did it again, a really cool arcade style game. It's challenging and it's fun as hell. Good job.

tarnop 2022-10-13 21:26

Really fun game with an old-school arcade feel. Great work!

rage-paint-games 2022-10-15 02:32

Pomoooo! Your game was so fun to play. Really clean and polished feel for only 72 hours. I can tell you put extra love and care into the feel of the game for the player. Cute graphics - loved the trail behind the bots and the look of the spin attack. Really great humor with "Amuzon" and the poor pedestrians. Even though I sucked at the game, I had a great time and will likely find myself playing again.
