I was not pressing this button!
Funny game, one of the best I played on this jam, thanks
I love the idea and the voice over. The instruction was a bit unclear, and it took me some times to understand exactly what I was suppose to do. And I was not able to press the yellow button for some reason in the right way. But anyway a good game. Well done.
Nice storytelling, nice humor!
The constant rotating to the right was really bugging me, I guess it is not intended? (Probably missing some constraints on your rigidbody to prevent that).
It could have gone a bit crazier, with clicking color combinations, or clicking the correct button in the dark. :p
Nice entry!
Loool ! I loved the humor. It took me 2~3 shots to understand how to press the light button. I did it :)
@rolly Thanks for the feedback. You're not the only one telling me about that constant rotation. I don't have the problem and I'm not getting why it is happening. I'll search for it though. Thanks for your feedback !
Pretty good time, but the checkpoints don't seem to work. Once I clicked retry the color the narrator said was always wrong.
Really fun story !
This was a really nice game! One thing that drove me mad was that the view kept slowly turning to the right, while the game was focussed, so after each klick I hit escape. That mede it playable as long as the mousecursor was in the screen area of the game. Once it left, I obviously lost control. I hope this is a problem only I encounter. If the turning was intended, please remove it, since it is only annoying and drove just short of quitting. Besides that, it is quite fun and until the end I could not predict if there really wasn't anything scary in the dark or if there would be a jumpscare at the end. But I will not spoil it for the other people here ;) Nice job!
@stmatn No it wasn't intended at all :slight_frown: I don't really get why it is doing that but I'm looking into it
@harksa Don't worry about it. It seems that other people have the same problem and I noticed it on multiple other games now. It seems to be a problem with either Firefox or the web player. I suspect that you wont be able to solve that. Just so you know it: I did not let that influence my rating of your game, anyway ;)
Really fun ahah it remember of The Stanley Parable
It's cool to see that the game keeps you going with such a stupid task. I feel like you could move to the slightly more advanced presses a little faster or give the player something to do, 10 seconds is a bit of time so sometimes the pacing is a bit slow.
I think your supervisor telling you stories also helps keeping it interesting.
Having a fullscreen option would be cool :)
Hahaha nice game, a shame I don't have a mouse nor a qwerty keyboard otherwise I would have made into the highscores! On Firefox (105 for linux) and no problem with hqving to turn always to the right.
I found a bug where, if you press the correct button immediately after the time runs out it will start from 0 and count infinitely into the negatives on your next try. There were also some times when the timer would not count down until you pressed a button and other times when I was sure I pressed the right button but it still failed me anyway. Those issues, combined with the constant turning, made the game too difficult to play so I unfortunately didn't finish it. I really like the concept though.
I really love these types of games, and this one is wonderfully executed for a jam! I would love to see this more fleshed out into a full game
I DID IT! This is a very funny playthrough. Thanks to you and your friend for that :-) One time I got a bug where after a reset the buttons did not reset to the correct constellation. (just after it gets dark). But luckily the BIG RED button, I needed was still there^^
Well done!
That's really cool! I had the same idea and made a game about just pressing a button! It's awesome how much you can do with a game that's literally just about pressing a button! Your take was a bit different than mine though. Feels a bit like The Stanley Parable in some ways, breaking the 4th wall and all that. I'm really glad you added checkpoints, otherwise there's no way I would have finished it :D For some reason I couldn't move right? Like, the D button didn't work. Was that intentional? It was really annoying! Love that you can jump for no reason! :D
I loved to be driven by a voice to progress in a game!
