The Cult of the Ancient One by someone 2022-10-15T04:31:06Z

What engine did you use for this? Is this a custom thing? Very cool game - love the feel of it. It has that beautiful blend of simplicity and complexity like chess but with a lovely dose of darkness.

Ten Seconds to Midnight by Alchemic 2022-10-15T03:57:35Z

Too challenging for me, but I really enjoyed the challenge anyway. It got more fun the more I played it and as I learned how to control the board a bit better - kind of like actual snowboarding! The map also has a really good feel.

Thunderstorm by Paul Nadan 2022-10-18T04:03:10Z

So well executed. The lamp checkpoints with the bell sound were really above and beyond for a 48 hour game - I was very impressed when I realized what they were. The art style is great and the variation of monster mechanics is really solid. My favourite moment was in the first third of the game when you have to jump to a platform that you can't see!

Nightfall by gamebuilder 2022-10-17T03:51:58Z

Very enjoyable game and a surprisingly nice little story arc despite the simplicity! I love the colour pallete and the way that the trees are kind of pixelly around the edges. It's not afraid to acknowledge that it was made on a computer and the feel of the game benefits for it. I want to explore this world more!

Just press the button by Harksa 2022-10-18T04:16:48Z

I found a bug where, if you press the correct button immediately after the time runs out it will start from 0 and count infinitely into the negatives on your next try. There were also some times when the timer would not count down until you pressed a button and other times when I was sure I pressed the right button but it still failed me anyway. Those issues, combined with the constant turning, made the game too difficult to play so I unfortunately didn't finish it. I really like the concept though.

Great innovation on a really simple theme. Very enjoyable to play!

Definitely a great use of the theme. Art style also gives it a pretty awesome feel.

Lost by LavaMagmo 2022-10-18T04:23:38Z

The basic mechanics are really good. I love the idea and the music, but the waves are really hard on the eyes. I would LOVE to try a version of this with the wave textures toned down a bit.

Macaques: Caged by Sean Carrick 2022-10-09T09:17:55Z

Love the feel of this! I love the world, the colours, textures, music, and feel of the movement. I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do and I never understood what the mechanics were but the overall feel more than made up for it. Favourite game I've tried so far.

The Snooze Button of Continued Existence by Ian DeJong 2022-10-17T04:02:06Z

@alchemic I really appreciate the high-effort comment - thank you. You're totally right about the user friendliness being lacking and all of your suggestions are good. Also, thanks for the little insight into your experience when you saw the buttons leaning on the wall. I hadn't intended for them to be any particular hint, but I'd like to be more attentive to how the first-time player will experience the level in future games and this was a good reminder to pay attention to that. Ahhh, and if only I had time for textures!!! The level is all just CSG blocks - not even real meshes, and the models for the pot things were meant to be just placeholder... a lot to learn in the time management department as well.
