This is really cool but I don't think I... get it?
I really like the look and the music but I don't really understand what's going on. Sometimes I can shoot sometimes I can't. Sometimes enemies run at me, sometimes they don't. It's unclear to me what the status at the top means when it says something like "Butterfingers."
Could you spell out how things work in the description a little more to help out dumb-dumbs like me?
Holding off on rating for now because I think there's a really cool game in here once I figure out how to play it!
Love the feel of this! I love the world, the colours, textures, music, and feel of the movement. I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do and I never understood what the mechanics were but the overall feel more than made up for it. Favourite game I've tried so far.

Great concept for a more fleshed out project. Admittedly I could only understand the core mechanics if they were explained to me. The movement is smooth, but the character felt too fast for the small arena. Lots of the slopes would trimp me upwards and I would lose a Jump input. Especially the small inward slope around the center platform--traversing over that would cause me to trimp up just by running.
But the seed here for a cool monkey arena shooter is set. Lots of talent worked on this and I have no doubt if its fleshed out, it'll be a great shooter. Visuals were crisp and interesting, movement felt great.
