As someone who has done a number of Gameboy type games this one is great. Great job!

Loved it! Would really like that level editor, already have a bunch of ideas myself!
pretty cool little game, interesting concept gameboy look is really well done good stuff
Wow, that's solid! Very well done!
Very cool little puzzle game, I liked the graphics, and the puzzles get tricky :) One little thing I found annoying is the keyboard keys to use. I'm using an AZERTY keyboard, so WASD are not practical to move. But I saw you're using Godot, which allows to use Physical keys instead. So that would work as expected regardless of the player's keyboard layout. GG
Great entry! Really like the artstyle and nice take on the theme
This is a really nice puzzle game! I love the retro style the game evokes, and it works smoothly. nice job!
@hakro You could use the directional keys instead, too. I pretty much offer a right-handed or left handed layout, depending on preference. Directional (arrow) keys are the same for all layouts. But I agree, the physical keys would work around the issue in the first place.
Super cool level design!
Really good game, it reminds me of some Pokemon levels with ice but with even more options to make !
love the art and feel
Cool game, loved the retro aesthetics! I believe I've encountered a bug though when taking the arrows ? Like sometimes the robot would just stop on the arrow. But the move was inconsistent, it was never the same arrow I stopped on despite it being the same input.
Couldn't reproduce elsewhere though, and it didn't spoil my fun, so I'll grade this like I never saw that bug :p Cheers!
It was a fun game until I reached the second level with the crates. I absolutely didn't understand what I could have done to be able to win here. Also I don't get why the robot redo the level, it feels unnecessary.
I think you should do a little playthrough of your own game so people can still pass levels they really don't get and not be frustrated by it.
I like GameBoy style and the still fits it well. The music fits as well but a bit repetitive, especially when you are stuck.
Overhall, it's nice. I wish I could have played more though. Keep up the good work
Reminds me of the ice puzzles from the old Zelda or Pokemon games. You nailed the Gameboy look and feel, it made me feel nostalgic  Impressive number of puzzles and mechanics, too. Well done.
Amazing art and feel, and the game itself has more content than one would expect from a ld game.
Just for the lore, it's worth 2 stars ^^
Otherwise I wasn't expecting the gameplay at all when reading the description but overall it was pretty cool, the difficulty increases a little too quickly in my opinion but it's well done. Congratulations to you
I noticed on this level that the execution did not correspond to the action
exec.png
@tasakasama The difficulty increases so quickly primarily because I was running out of time for the puzzle design :D I noticed the behaviour on your screenshot too, after release, there seems to be a minor bug with the boxes I will have to look into. It can actually even be an issue on the last level, because it may cause the undo function to not work properly, leaving you with an unsolvable situation. I will patch that eventually ;)
Nice puzzler! Gameboy aesthetics are on point. A full on restart level button would be nice but undoing a bunch still works.
Nice iteration on what would be a classic logic game.
I'm commenting even if I am blocked at the second level with boxes. By the way, good job for the level design: to be short of only one move gives the right amount of infuriating (I was quite proud when I didn't use every move to clear one level.)
Thanks you, thanks you for the one-move redo. I didn't think of it much at the beginning, but later it was brimming with usefulness.
As for the game itself, it's a classical ice slide puzzle (I think there's a more official name I don't know), but with mandatory minimal number of moves. If I have to nitpick, it strays a little bit for the theme, since the moves are not quite the space. Okay, there is the setting with low space in memory.
About the setting, the sprites are really clear : the robot, the consoles. However, I think there could have been a better immersion in the context if it was about factory robots (the arms) and how they move to grab things. I find a little bit weird to have robots to turn on consoles. I know I should not take this at face value, and I don't even know if "robot arms" can be represented nicely in this aesthetic.
I'm a little bit upset to not have finished, but it was beginning to become "chore-y".
Cool game, but is the second box push level even solvable? 8 moves for 3 targets seems very steep.
@sven-schoeling All levels are solvable. However, I agree that the level in question is particularly hard and I have changed it a bit to make it easier. I wouldn't want everyone to be stuck mid-game
It's a well executed classic game, and the crates are a nice addition! I wanted to see more levels but for a compo game there is already a good amount of content. And thanks for including gamepad support, it adds a lot to the immersion! Just nitpicking but I wish there was a fullscreen button, or maybe that was intended for the retro console feel :)
Its's perfect. Can't say any bad things for this product.
I almost gave up on level 3 (🙈) but I'm glad I stuck with it. Finally gave up on the third box level, after taking a long time to see the second box level solution. Brilliant simple artwork, emulating the style of the era but with modern fidelity gains, and addictive gameplay. Nice work!
Really well polished game! And there is so many levels :D Art style is really nice, music is great, game mechanics are fun. I do not think I have anything to add except, well done!
It's a really nice puzzler! And an extremely impressive amount of content for a compo. The color scheme is very pleasant. Music is fitting, but gets repetitive quickly.
I didn't encounter any bugs, so feels polished to me :smile_cat:
Interesting puzzles, lovely music. Well done!
Good puzzle game, the visuals and music in the game are incredibly stylish and unique.
Oh wow this was cool - GREAT idea for a puzzle game, and right on theme. loved the graphics and audio too. nice work!
The Game Boy style graphics and audio are pretty slick. Have you ever looked into GBStudio?
Nice puzzle game, i liked the visuals. well done
What an amazing puzzle game, really fun and challenging levels, especially ones with the boxes, they took me a while to finally solve them and complete and game. I love the GameBoy graphics with the simple color palette, very nostalgic to see in modern days. The audio is perfect and very fitting, the music was short and simple but it's not boring when playing in loop. But I find that particular level with a lot of speed boosting tiles was kinda overkill, it makes my eyes a little tired to look at a bunch of animations being played at once in a long period of time.
Overall, very well done on the level design and mechanics, and nice interpretation on the theme!
the difficulty increased very quickly... :D i love gameboy graphics and this game won me over.
good job
I'm terrible at puzzles, but the difficulty increased very quickly, I gave up on the third level lol. I know I could try, but it was already too difficult. You have to go more progressively with the difficulty
I cleared it. I almost gave up on one of those levels, but I got through it. Great job. I think this is what game jam games are supposed to be about. And extra points for it being a compo project. I don't really have any suggestions for this game, the gameplay, goals, and mechanics were all very clear.
@lincolnsalles while the difficulty is subjective, you are right that it ramps up fast. The main reason for this was the limited time I had to create levels. In a post jam release there will be more easy levels
Hey, this was tight, especially for Compo! Love the whole aesthetic, it's very convincing. Puzzle design is great. I got through the third level fine after a moment, but as above, the ramp between levels 2 and 3 feels a little steep. Nice QoL feature with the ability to take moves back. I thought that maybe the 'compiling' feature, while neat, felt a little redundant in the beginning when I was keen to just punch levels.
Diffficulty was increased very fast, the sfx were great and so were the graphics. Solid entry, challenging levels!
very cute puzzle game, sfx are really fitting the visuals, we had a similar idea but went on something different! Loved it!
Very enjoyable entry! The gameplay is simple to understand, but gets very challenging after a while, and I love the Game Boy-style presentation. There seems to be a fair number of levels, and the ability to rewind on a move-by-move basis, rather than just restarting the whole level, is a very handy feature. Sadly my ability at these sorts of games only goes so far, I got to this level and just completely blue-screened:

I'll be back to figure it out later! In the meantime, great job!
@f1krazy Glad to hear you enjoy the game. Tip for the level: You only use one of the arrow tiles. On one of the later moves.
Cool puzzle game! Loved the tiny robot and I enjoyed the retro gameboy vibes. Unfortunately I gave up here:

There's a lot going on here and I tried a bunch of times but kinda lost interest at that point... However the level design is clever and I did enjoy playing the game!
Also, I would've loved the option to skip the level-solution replay :)
Cool! I got surprised by one of the early levels in which difficulty suddenly goes up, but reading in the comments that it was solvable gave me the courage to plow through it. I stopped at the first level with a box because I wanted to move on. I don't understand why the level replays? The audio fits the mood, but it gets old fast and I had to mute it to keep playing. Consistent aesthetic, I liked the lore and the puzzle design was interesting. Very good job!!
Started it and couldn't stop ! The entry was really good the concept and use of the theme really nice ! I definitely liked the retro feel it had ! Well done it was a really nice entry.
Wow, nice game. Was already sold when I saw the Gameboy style LDJam54 intro! Really awesome puzzle game that feels really balanced. Level progression is also done quite nicely. And music & sound effects fit the old school Gameboy style perfectly. Kudos!
Only thing missing is the rom version that I can play on the actual device
