Great game!!!
Interesting game. Gives me FTL vibes a little bit. Definitely fitting for the theme. Nice!
This one definitely feels like a co-op game. Very nice graphics, I especially like the guide you put up. I was having trouble seeing the UI properly. Also, I feel some sound effects would go a long way. Good job!
I haven't played coop, although it feels like it would be fitting.
It's definitely fitting the theme and there is always something going on, but I can't imagine playing this game for a long time. Maybe it's the music? Don't get me wrong, I quite like the music, but when it repeats over and over, it gets annoying very fast. Maybe there could be a bit more variation, or maybe it could be less aggressive.
The graphics are a mixed bag for me. The ship itself looks pretty nice. The menu, and the space around the ship look, I don't know, cheap? Sorry, I can't think of a better word. Maybe everything is a bit too colorful? Maybe the space should be darker? Or not show up in the menu and show the ship instead? I can't quite put my finger on it, sorry.
Also, sound effects would be really nice.
Anyway, congratulations for finishing the LD. I think this game has a big potential, but it needs a great deal of polishing IMHO.
@mvasko2 , Thanks for a such detailed review! Yes, you are right, sound and ui are *very* unfinished right now, we ran out of for them, so they are just stayed as-is from whiteboxing proto
Having coop and single player is very cool. Sound needs improvement and some layering bugs but otherwise a fun game!
Music fits the theme, adds a lot of tension and stress. Sometimes the UI is hard to read when it flashes white but overall a cool game
Very interesting and fun game.
So I had fun running around keeping everything afloat and it felt very unstable. I never really knew whether I did good and why the game was over at some point (did everything blow up? or did i win?) This could use amongus style mini-games :D
Good job!
I noticed that no matter what I did, the game never ended; even having everything fixed at once didn't do it. What was I supposed to do?
I also thought that it was a little bit boring. It might have needed one extra mechanic, I think.
This game gives me FTL & AmongUs vibes, the graphics are amazing! I somehow suck at it, didn't manage to teleport too fast to get tools from outside, the times should be improved a bit, had fun playing it, the tension is real.
Nice job on this....visually nice to look at. It does become a little bit tedious after awhile and I was fairly bad at keeping things running so didn't last too long! It does have the flavor of AmongUs.
cool graphics, but I felt like it could've been better with more players :O
Nice idea, fun juggling mechanics with nice art and sound!
Gave it a go, definitely a very fitting game for unstable with something breaking every 2 seconds, very chaotic if expanded on would probably make a great co-op game with friends, definitely with more tinkering and work could be a great game
Very chaotic, could be insanely fun with a little polish :) The UI needs some possible streamlining, like status of each part being displayed on the part physically on the ship since you already see it all on the screen. This would eliminate the need for cross-referencing the images on UI and parts on the ship quickly, which gets difficult very fast.
TBH I'm in the same boat, with similar idea and the same approach with more attention to mechanics than UI. I can feel what your creative idea was and how great it can become once some more time is applied, I genuinely believe that you have a beginning of a great game here, especially with several players on the same ship!
Extra plus is your graphics, which are not final but already differentiate enough between all those elements of the ship. Cool!
Darn, foiled by the failing plants!
There's a lot of potential in the game!
