a nice little game. A bug i found: if you switch to the axe whilst spraying foam, the foam just continues to spray from the point where you switched. Good use of mechanics.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD49 → Unstable Firefighter

cool idea, I didn't last very long, sadly. I think there was a bug with using doors, it only worked a few times
I equipped the axe, but clicking on the door did not doo anything. Some sound would improve this by a lot. Did not really know what to do :(
You might need to exit the door and comeback, its ontriggerenter stuff.
Interesting take on the theme, I would have loved to feel more the unstability of the building with sound design (cracking sounds for example). More generally, sound and music would have been great for the mood of the game. The game also lacks of a clear indication of the goal, I didn't know how many people I had to save before leaving the building.
No matter what I did, I couldn't seem to get the axe minigame to work :( I had it pop up once or twice, but the meter then got stuck on-screen even as I switched weapons, and I couldn't open up any other doors.
Edit: I saw your above comment about exiting and re-entering the doors to start the minigame, and that seemed to work to get the meter to show up, but it often disappeared the second that I clicked on the door, so I wasn't sure what I was doing wrong :(
I didn't seem to be able to enter any doors after the doors seemed to be opened, but that might be related to my struggles with the minigame.
Good take on the theme, I also had some problems with opening the doors but after walking away from it worked. Managed to save all and survive the second playthrough.
Wow you survived? thats not even mentioned in the game how to do that well done.
The idea is really interesting, however I had trouble figuring out what I was doing wrong, as sometimes equipping axe and using it to break doors didn't work - even though I clicked there was no way to start the breaking minigame. I'd love to see it with you having a little bit more time to get rid of the bugs. However, it fits the theme really well!
Excellent little game. I would love to see it play out in a longer game! A bit of music and sound would really add to the experience, but was very good overall!
The game is on point with the theme. It all feels a bit unresponsive but I understand its a jam game.
That's so cool, it's like mix of those point-and-click and a platformer, it's also good that the mechanics are not limited to one "weapon/tool"
Very nice entry! I really liked the idea as it fits the theme quite well. Actually, there was one time I had went into a room, then when I came out, I spawned into fire which was actually pretty funny, though I somehow survived it haha. There are some bugs here and there that others have already mentioned, so a little polish on it would definitely go a long way. Also some sounds would definitely add to the experience. Otherwise, it was a great job!
Interesting interprettion of the theme, it work fine and that's addicting !
I like it, i only can rescue one person, and dont see others, also i dont have at least 1 point lol, good concept and idea!
Nice game with quite nice visuals! I like the firefighter theme including the additional action to just putting out fires. Nice work!
Cool game with an interesting concept! Love how it fits the theme and the art is really good. Sadly the door mini game didn't properly trigger in some cases but it's a really good idea. Nice entry ^^
