its actually pretty hard trying to drive backwards and kicking the sheep out... I did not make it :(

this is a very funny game! I took the horse outside the barn and miraculously brought it back)

A very unstable stable indeed, Had a little hard time manuvering the horse when it's going backwards or facing the camera. But I liked it!

Good old Resident Evil 1 controls. ^^

Funny little game with a car ... I mean a Horse !

thegrandpa 2021-10-05 18:42

Fun but really hard to control

goddoesplaydice 2021-10-06 10:19

It's fun, but too hard! :) The audio work is very good.

Hilarious take on the theme, I loved the sound effects and animations. I didn't mind that it was absurdly hard to play, the controls and ensuing chaos just added another layer of instability!

bobi505 2021-10-06 19:38

This is a very strange but funny game))

Always good to keep pushing your jam limits. I know you guys have a very high bar set so it feels bad if you don't feel like you met it, but we're all in that boat here. I spent a ton of time with multiplayer and photoshop tutorials myself.

My playthrough of this game was in phases: 1. Learn to move backwards and kick like crazy. While the least effective phase, it was certainly the most fun. 2. At some point I realized I could just hold down space and put my horse in a permanent planche position (lol). This was a bit more effective as I didn't have to worry about timing and the knockback force seemed to be more controllable. 3. Finally, I accidentally pushed in a sheep driving forward, and it dawned on me I could just push all the sheep into the goal much easier... I ended up doing that and won pretty easily.

I'm curious what the planned version was going to be like. I'm sure that pendulum axe was a sign of things to come.

Overall it was a fun concept that immediately interested me as soon as I got in. Hitting the sheep the way you want was challenging, but hey, all the games this jam are. Great work for using so many new tools :)

I love the music. but when I go out of the house, I can't come back and I'm lost. It could be nice maybe if you restrict the horse to go out of the bounds of the house(or barn is the word I guess). The rollers on horse's feet is cute :D I like the graphics too. Music is very good.

I could not drive the sheep out of the barn in this game) I think in real life this is 10 times easier to do. fun game)

Surprisingly difficult and awkward in the best possible way, it was a lot of fun! Turns out that 3 minute time limit was pretty accurate for how long it would take (though admittedly I didn't QUITE accomplish getting them all out). All in all, nice work and I hope you expand on it further!

UnstableStable.png Wow, it was very awkward to get all the sheep out (and what's with the sheep sounds!), but the overall mood is fun so I persevered. I appreciated the end game art, and I liked the wheels on the horse (presumably to save animating it!)

Hilarious and difficult! I had fun playing the game, but I was very bad at it. My high score was 5 :sheep:

The controls were a bit unstable too, I am not sure if that was on purpose. Sometimes the horse wouldn't rotate? It seems that I can't rotate after a kicked.

I enjoyed the music! But the sheep sound like ducks? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
