gunstable by torcado 2021-10-07T21:19:02Z

Cool stuff! I like the mechanic and the game controlled well, it's a nice time! I do have to echo some of the other critiques that I think it suffers for not having music--the SFX get the job done, but I would have taken something running in the background over that any day.

City of Cards by TheGamer1123211 2021-10-12T01:58:15Z

Really cool presentation, seems like a very ambitious game for a jam! I do feel like I spent too much time sitting around waiting for resources to accrue in order to do something, but it felt fairly well-balanced and it was easy to figure out what was going on without a tutorial. Solid stuff!

Unstable Stable by Flaterectomy 2021-10-12T22:14:46Z

Surprisingly difficult and awkward in the best possible way, it was a lot of fun! Turns out that 3 minute time limit was pretty accurate for how long it would take (though admittedly I didn't QUITE accomplish getting them all out). All in all, nice work and I hope you expand on it further!

Soup de Journey: Slice, Chop, and Steer Your Way to Culinary Mastery by Patran 2021-10-12T01:40:59Z

I like the idea of the game! That being said, I do agree that the presentation needed a lot of work. It was hard to look at and keep track of what I was doing. Given some work on that, I think there could be something fun here though!

Human Resources by lauchsuppe 2021-10-07T21:08:07Z

Pretty exceptional, it was hilarious and very well-executed. Absolutely love the sound design--though actually, I think it would have been improved with some music with the human resource sounds coming in and out as part of the track. Honestly though, I'd totally understand if it was a conscious choice not to do that. This one's a real stunner.

-Y- by Iluvatar 2021-10-07T17:24:32Z

Nice concept, I liked the visuals and the forest sounds were a nice touch. I often found it hard to click on one specific thing, I understood how to line up the former of the cursor, but the control required was a little bit too fine…that being said, maybe I’m just dumb, but it was a little hard to parse any information from the very low-poly art, so I wasn’t really sure where to find things or what to do—that combined with the cursor control issues preventing me from feeling my way around made it so I couldn’t really progress, but I’m willing to chalk that up to my own error and stupidity so I won’t hold that against you ;), still happy to give this a good score because this looks like something really good is there!

Reef Gobbler by BoxedMeatRevolution 2021-10-12T02:07:22Z

Love the concept and the art was lovely, but I would have appreciated more guidance with regard to how to balance the ecosystem, I didn't find it super intuitive. But once I did figure it out, I had a lovely time!

Angry Girl Wants Buns by almost 2021-10-18T16:15:56Z

Nice little game! I like the concept a lot and the art was lovely, the music was a great fit (though I wasn't in love with the sound fx--especially the girl sound--mostly because they sounded like they weren't blended into the same space as the rest of the game). I do think it would have been improved by more clearly stating how the different moods affect the controls and what sorts of things may trigger changes, as it wasn't always obvious (the cat clearly made her afraid, but sometimes going from joyful to content wasn't clear). Still, very cool work, I enjoyed it!

Stack Droid Saves The Party by Shawn Beck 2021-10-07T21:43:46Z

Very cute game, gorgeous, had some solid personality and the music was a really nice fit! I did find the choppiness of it a little difficult to look at, and while I really liked the added challenge of maintaining balance while walking with a stack, I didn't much like the extra challenge of things maybe falling down when you drop the stack, but I might have been doing something wrong. Still, really great work!

Pizza Pony by MattWoelk 2021-10-07T17:18:23Z

Very cool! I like the visuals and the concept is great, but I do feel like I was little TOO at the mercy of the pizza boxes in later levels, to the point where sometimes my only choice was to run around in a circle and not deliver it anywhere. But I still had a lovely time!

Interstellar Highway Robbery by Corny 2021-10-07T17:30:35Z

Really great stuff! I loved the look and the concept, which was pretty well-executed. The controls were good, my one real gripe was that I think it would have been greatly improved by music or sound design, that bogged it a bit for me, but everything that was in there was very nice indeed.

Meowsician Manager by rubentipparach 2021-10-12T22:22:34Z

Funny little game! It had a lot of personality and the score fit, though I did think it could have used more variation. I liked the way the character assets were presented, though I think the UI could have used a bit of work. I love turn-based battles, but the transitions into the battles were a bit confusing and I wasn't sure why anyone was fighting--it just kind of felt like the fights were there to be there. I think there's a fun, solid game at the end of this though if you continue to develop it post jam!

Orthoptera by cottontshirtz 2021-10-12T01:20:54Z

Interesting and beautiful game! Great movement and the jumping felt very satisfying, though I think the stamina should refill much faster, I just got bored sometimes waiting for it to restart. Really cool stuff though!

Feed the Queen by UnidayStudio 2021-10-07T21:36:54Z

Very funny and fun game! At first I thought "oh no, tank controls," but after about 10 seconds, it was clear that tank controls were the way to go. I especially liked the mechanic of the items in your tray jumping up with you whenever you jumped. Really solid with a lot of personality, great work!

The Salatroitsk Incident by DrunkardWolf 2021-10-07T17:25:36Z

Awesome work, the atmosphere was tense (love the use of classic PS1 fog and the sound design, no music was the right choice). The monster was very slow moving, but I don’t think that was a bad thing combined with the persistence of it. Admittedly I’m a total baby with horror, but I found it very tense—great work!

Sky Burns Red by nardandas 2021-10-12T01:35:40Z

Really love the concept, the music was solid and the presentation was really good overall--VERY ambitious to include the beatmaps, but very much appreciated! I will say, it was a bit difficult to keep track of the state of the platform while playing, it was just a little too much to handle visually with the way things were laid out in their current state. Still, a lot of fun, awesome job!

COME ALIVE! by Angela He 2021-10-12T01:02:03Z

Tremendous work! Phenomenal presentation, the whole thing felt polished to a shine and was altogether just really beautiful to look at, from the character art to the way the text moved all the way down to the distinct text bubbles. Love seeing some LGBTQIA representation, the characters felt well-fleshed out, though I would like to echo some of the criticisms others have had that I didn't much care for the conclusion from the flower shop to the end, I found it unsatisfying and the flower shop/car scene could have been more than it was. I do think that could all be fixed in a post-jam version though! The music feels like it would have been solid, but I think I might have encountered a bad audio error? I was getting tons of awful pops and clicks, really bizarre and felt unintentional, but it was so difficult (and painful, quite frankly) to listen to I had to turn the music off--. All that aside, really great!

Gecko's Chronicles: The Miserable Men by RAFFE 2021-10-13T23:11:52Z

Wow, I wasn't sure what I was signing up for when I started the game and it's definitely not what I was expecting, it surprised me in all the best ways. Love the unique look, the interesting premise, and the sound work was really excellent as well. Honestly, nothing to criticize, you made something really original and wonderful. Great work!

Crumbling Mind by NoeTheLazyDev 2021-10-12T02:16:25Z

I loved the visuals and the whole thing moved very well, though I must say, I really didn't care for the portrayal of mental health in the game nor the way it tied in with the gameplay--I didn't find the changes in state to be terribly interesting, and the ones that prohibit sight especially didn't thrill me. Still, it was quite polished and had solid game feel!

Unfabled by Kwiper 2021-10-07T21:58:25Z

Very cool work! The whole thing had a great feeling of polish and really like the way the mechanic works, it was very easy to stay motivated to try again because of how satisfying it was to play! The music was great and really helped set the atmosphere of the game, but the more 8-bit sound effects kind clashed with it for me, I think I would have preferred that the sound effects followed suit with the music for a more hi-fi sound. But if that's my biggest complaint, then you're definitely doing something right!

You can do it, Astro Pup! by benskca 2021-10-12T22:30:00Z

Fun little game! I like the drawing of Astro Pup and the floating controls worked nicely, but I wasn't a big fan of needing the walkthrough below the game in order to figure out what I had to do. My biggest complaint was actually the sound effect of the ship being hit, I don't think it really added anything and was more annoying than anything else. Still, it was a fun time!

Mint by Préda 2021-10-12T22:08:55Z

What an extremely cool and very polished entry! The atmosphere of the whole thing is excellent, both the art and sound teams REALLY delivered, there's a very nice impending sense of dread! The floating movement mechanic was very cool, though I was a bit confused at first as to how it worked, I think I would have appreciated a little bit of guidance, at first I thought the game was glitched. Otherwise, very nice work!

There'll Be Hell To Play by Enya454 2021-10-07T21:04:30Z

Really great! I love the vibe and attitude, the picking up mechanic felt really nice and the boss battle was a really great way to turn the gameplay around a bit with a fair bit of challenge. Awesome job!

Escaped Plague by Federico Giorgi 2021-10-12T00:16:56Z

Interesting idea! I like the perspective, the art on the 2D stuff was great and the 3D was solid, though I felt the art styles were still a little bit too far apart to gel well. I found it difficult to judge where monsters were coming from in the town, while being told that they had entered was helpful, some sort of indication of where they were specifically would have been appreciated (a mini map, an arrow, who knows). Also, like others said, it was hard to judge if I had hit an enemy or not. All that aside, still very cool and impressive given the amount of time!

Nuclear Danger by Fluffy_Kaeloky 2021-10-12T00:31:15Z

Excellent work! Really nice execution and atmosphere, the puzzle was just the right amount of hard for a dumb dumb like me! My only real criticism is that sometimes the physics got annoying when I felt like I had an idea and I just wanted to try putting two things together, only for the clumsiness of the ordeal to slow me down, which is when that kind of goofy physics becomes less fun. Even so, still great fun! +1 for the voice acting and for the radio responding to player location!

Orbitris by BOOtak 2021-10-12T21:28:37Z

Super interesting take on Tetris! It took me a bit of time to adjust and feel comfortable aiming the pieces, but everything ran so smoothly that it never felt like it was out of my control, just needed a bit of practice. The whole thing felt really nice, though the lack of music was a bit disappointing. Otherwise though, it's a really solid little game!

WOLFGUN by sodaraptor 2021-10-07T17:25:58Z

VERY cool! Really liked the look of the game, the level layout was solid, and the powerups were an excellent touch. I do think that the shooting wasn’t quite precise enough for my liking, I found that I was always shooting the side of where the reticule was pointed and sometimes zombies got obscured in doorways in a way I didn’t appreciate, but all in all this was a great effort and I had an awesome time (I played the 0.4 version).

Faultline Farm 🐷 by Dazzumbledor 2021-10-13T23:43:01Z

Really love the idea of the game and had a fun time with it! It's very solid premise that tied in well with the theme, and the rotation mechanics were solid, I always felt like I had control over them! The music was a very solid fit, though I found the sound effects a bit too loud and I wasn't in love with the bell effect. I also felt it was a bit short, but it would make a wonderful idea to expand upon for a post-jam version! Awesome work!

Revolver by Unicorn Studios 2021-10-12T01:53:30Z

Spectacular presentation, the whole thing felt really polished! The controls were great, though I do think the aiming could have been a lot more forgiving--there were times I felt like I had landed blows and it didn't count. I enjoyed the darkness of the whole thing, but it might have been just a bit TOO over the top, it was a little hard to keep track of what was going on. Still, the mood was spot on and it was altogether really great!

LCD DREAM ESCALATOR by Hydezeke 2021-10-12T01:12:04Z

Wow, one of my favorites of the jam! Very well done all around, loved the art and presentation, I love that it had gameplay as opposed to just being a tour though surreal imagery, and the music/sound design was SPOT ON. Altogether easy 5 stars from me!

Fight Or Flight by Monado 2021-10-12T01:28:44Z

Cute little jam game! I liked the platformer design, the jumping felt really solid, the music was a good fit, all and all really nice! I do think missing the jump and being forced back to the beginning was a bit too brutal, some sort of checkpoint system would have been appreciated, but still fun nonetheless.

Unstable Investments by Japayne 2021-10-12T01:14:25Z

I like the idea of the game in general, though to be honest, I kind of struggled to understand what to do and how to play. That could easily be chalked up to me being an idiot though. Seems like something solid was there underneath it all and I did like the art!

PRISM by Gat 2021-10-13T23:21:37Z

Really interesting idea for the game, but I'd like to echo what others said about having some difficulty with how it it set up and presented. The "How to Play" page made sense, but it's very overwhelming how it was laid out--a tutorial would have gone a long way. Also, I wasn't really having anything to react to the whole time I played it? I played it in browser and it's possible that's where the trouble came from. Still, I think it was a very interesting idea and I appreciate that!

Drunk Fist by Nicolas Revillon 2021-10-12T02:24:26Z

Fun little jam game! The art was wild in the best possible way! I liked the feel of it all, though I did find the movement just a little too slidey for my liking. But it had some very pure vibes and I had a great time with it!

Cyberwalk 2049 by Nachodlv 2021-10-18T16:20:09Z

Cool little idea, felt like a side-scrolling Death Stranding in a way haha. It controlled fairly well, but I don't think I was ever able to pick up any of the powerups? I couldn't get the "Hold Left Mouse Click" to actually work for me, I just kept shooting things. I also did find the difficulty a little punishing, but it was satisfying to play and I had a good time with it!

Everything is Fine by Noire 2021-10-12T22:00:29Z

Fascinating and uncomfortable in all the right ways, you picked a dicey subject and treated it with care and grace, wonderful work! I really liked the artwork, but he lack of visual feedback and choppiness as it switched from place to place made me think that something wasn't working right--thankfully, the audio came in to help save the day on that front, excellent work on that front! A very fine jam entry indeed, happy I took the time to play it.

STAR STRUGGLE by 730 2021-10-12T00:10:02Z

Really interesting game! It's been polished to a shine, but I will say, it's VERY hard, to the point where I feel like some baby levels should be in there to help adjust to the controls. That being said, it's clearly well-thought out and not difficult for the sake of being difficult. Awesome work!

Lacalaca Ripstaurant by JmO14 2021-10-12T01:23:30Z

I like the concept and the style of the whole thing, though I found the game a bit TOO out of control, it was difficult to pick up what I needed and to hand it out. The clumsiness was funny and could have worked, but maybe if it was dialed back a bit. Still cool though!

Tables & Tremors by SlimmerBurger 2021-10-12T22:40:31Z

Really great fun! The game controlled beautifully and each level felt fair and balanced, being able to restart RIGHT AWAY kept me very engaged throughout. I will say, I do think the sound was a bit of a missed opportunity, I would have appreciated more involved music and less repetitive sound effects--but from an art and design standpoint, I have no complaints. Excellent work!

Atomic Rock Paper Scissors by lucasvb 2021-10-12T21:41:49Z

Wonderfully cool little game, the mechanics were simple but deep. I never felt like I couldn't do something to wrack up points and it having the balancing act between getting more nuclear bombs and preventing steel blocks from falling was very satisfying. All around just really really well done, great work!

Citride by Asemic 2021-10-12T00:20:24Z

The idea is cool! I do think a tutorial on the strengths of each character and how they function would have been greatly appreciated, I was really scratching my head at first. Additionally--and I have a feeling this is by design--I also found the movement to be quick sluggish, which caused me to make mistakes from time to time. The presentation is very solid though, I had a good time with it!

Unstable government by DmitryGalias 2021-10-14T00:19:55Z

Really cool game! I loved the idea of having to constantly dig up and replant my garden, it got pretty tense in the late game when I started having to make BIG changes to the farm all at once, though I think the early game moved a little slow for my tastes. The music was solid and I loved the art, the presentation of the whole thing was quite nice. Great work!

emoceans by ty_ 2021-10-07T21:52:46Z

Cute little game! I like the plaintive look of it and it was surprising how long I wanted to keep going keeping myself up, good work! Also, pun titles are always a BIG +1 in my book.

the Bar by Very Bad Bunny Studio 2021-10-07T23:24:03Z

Fun little hidden item game! I do think it took a little too long to switch between screens but other than that, a fine example of what it's meant to be!

Unstable Load by Jerem Watts 2021-10-12T01:49:14Z

Loved the VO, the game felt great and looked really solid! I do think it would have been improved with more feedback (both visual and audio) for the reload, as well as maybe just speeding up the reload time. I didn't find that it encouraged me to aim more carefully, it just kind of rendered me useless for a bit. Still, had a great time!

The Legend of Slime Princess Jeremy by hinesite 2021-10-07T22:13:14Z

I like the simple art style and sort of bait-and-switch behind the game getting wacky, cool stuff!

Hot Potato by Bobi505 2021-10-12T23:30:56Z

Excellent game! Love the concept and think it was carried out to the fullest, I loved the constantly shifting games and having to let go of my mouse only to grab it again for the next one. I appreciate that it sped up as it went along--my only real gripe would be that I wish there was a bit more variation in the music, but I really like that the speed of the music followed suit with the speed of the gameplay as the count got higher, so that variation mattered less as the game got more intense. I had a wonderful time with it, great work!

Split by Zeit 2021-10-07T22:07:37Z

Great art and interesting idea, I like the maze puzzle though I think I encountered bugs in the others, I was totally unable to play the platformer and I wasn't able to click on anything after I found the first heart piece in the unstable room. Otherwise, cool stuff!

Acidium by OpenfunGames 2021-10-07T21:30:33Z

Cool idea! I like the integration of the two gameplay elements, the shooting sections were fun and fair and I didn't mind failing and trying again, though I do think it would have have felt a little more finessed if you drew some more obvious link between the two genres through the VN scenes (I think that might have been beyond the scope of the jam and I still understood what you were doing, so maybe my way would have been boring?). Side note: I think I encountered a bug that forced multiple music tracks to play at once and it was a little disorienting to listen to, I couldn't tell you what might have caused it (I was playing the "fixed" version). All that having been said, cool concept with great art and I had a really nice time playing it!

Acidium by OpenfunGames 2021-10-08T00:03:54Z

@openfungames Sounds good, I look forward to playing it again then!

Baba Yaga by Teegan 2021-10-12T22:47:50Z

Very interesting concept! Absolutely love the visual design, really unique and well-executed. I had some control issues from time to time where the house was totally on its side and I didn't feel like I anything I did could level it out properly. I liked the music and I liked that it progressed alongside the game, but some of the loops were just a bit too short for my liking whenever I got stuck. Despite those complaints, I still had a lovely time with it and would be very interested in seeing a fuller post-jam version!

A Senator's Sacrifice by James Wilson 2021-10-07T21:14:35Z

Very cool and unique use of the theme! The choice of setting was great and the jumping felt really nice, I didn't feel at the mercy of the same whenever I had to make a jump that required more precision. Nicely done tutorial as well, really solid all around!

MEMALOIRS by Lovor 2021-10-07T21:50:22Z

Fascinating, sad, and altogether very wonderful. You tackled a serious theme extremely well, both being sensitive and showing firsthand how awful Alzheimer's is. Excellent work!

In Balance by OlayColay 2021-10-13T23:27:34Z

A lot of interesting ideas here! I liked the character drawings and I appreciated the combat system, though more on-screen prompts were definitely necessary, as I definitely couldn't remember what I needed to use and had to put my two monitors to use to keep the controls open on a separate screen. The in-game dialogue also moved a bit too slowly for my tastes, but it had solid personality! I think there's a great idea here, a post-jam version would be very nice to see (and now that I look up, I see that the commenter above me made very similar observations--still, I stand by mine). I have a good time playing this one!

Disruption by WYL TEAM 2021-10-12T02:02:35Z

Stunning presentation, the whole thing looked, felt, and sounded great! Really love the emphasis on limited ammo, though I would have liked something a simple visual aid for aiming (not necessarily a reticule, but something). Still, very very cool!

Delusion by Elazulus 2021-10-13T23:32:47Z

Really well-put together twin stick game! It controlled very well, and the character animations are unreal for the amount of time you had! I will say though, some dying animations would have been greatly appreciated, having the enemies just blink out of existence was a little disorienting. The music was a good fit, but I do think it would have been very helpful for it to have a bit more variation as it developed. All in all though, really nice polished entry, I enjoyed it!

Moonpond by balduin 2021-10-12T02:20:10Z

Fun little game, I dug the visual style (though it felt a little incomplete) and it controlled quite nicely. It definitely suffered for not having music though, I would strongly recommend adding some in post-jam.

WildGuess by Rashid 2021-10-13T23:17:24Z

Interesting premise to make a game about a marriage counselor, though I admit, I actually have some gripes with the premise that the way to "win" the part with the robot is to just make her stay home and deprive her of her joys in life. However, I still think it was pretty well executed given the amount of time we had, and I like the fact it had multiple endings!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

The Inglorious Yet Highly Stimulating Life of an Underpaid Graduate Student 2 by Kyle Farwell 2022-04-05T21:51:44Z

Really great stuff! Love the concept and the way it was executed. This one hits close to home to those of us who have had to give any customer support over the phone, awesome work!

Send Nukes by MrSchlag2 2022-04-05T21:42:45Z

It took me a minute to figure out what was going on, but once I did, it was good frantic fun! Love the art style and the vibe of the whole thing! My highest score was only 58, but I'm sure I'll go back for more!

fireme.club by velvetlobster 2022-04-05T21:38:00Z

Very cool little concept! I love the aesthetic and there's a whole lot of potential in this to grow it further. I'll admit that I didn't fully understand how the battling worked so it was hard to parse a strategy (other than running away when the Grinch came in hahaha), but it was still a fun time. Great work!

LD52 — Harvest

Agricultural Express by DeathBySnail 2023-01-18T16:19:45Z

Really nice stuff! The whole thing had a great level of polish to it, I loved how fluidly the camera moved, and I'm always happy to see 3D in a jam. The harvesting mechanics were clear, it allowed for a very chill time. My one bit of constructive feedback is that I feel the train sounds could have been quieter, I would have rather heard the music, which worked well with the rest of the game. Still, great work!

A Day in the Life of Death by DDRKirbyISQ 2023-01-18T16:38:03Z

Spectacular work! Everything about it just worked. The art style was lovely, the music fit perfectly, sound design was on point, the whole thing had a wonderful layer of sheen and polish to it. The gameplay was simple but very engaging. No negatives at all, you crushed it!

Warden of the Woods by arzi 2023-01-15T16:36:02Z

Really impressive work! I'm always amazed when people can put together things that can feel so complete and considered in the span of a jam. It was well-paced, the art and music were great, and the whole thing just had a really nice feel too it. Great work!

My Little Piece of Shelby by Roberto Romao 2023-01-10T18:46:17Z

Cute start to a game! It has all the piece for a fun little farming sim. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose, but driving the car sideways was funny. Keep working on it and it should be really good!

Strange Orchardist by BoxedMeatRevolution 2023-01-10T18:27:56Z

Wonderful stuff! Great bit of challenge while still feeling possible to beat. The controls felt great, I never felt like I was fighting the game, any time I didn't succeed I was well aware that was on me. Lovely music too, excellent job! (Also, nice work on the mouth swoosh sounds)

The Orchid's Edge by Cornflowerblue 2023-01-11T02:35:09Z

This is the first time this jam I have given a game a five star score, this is shockingly robust in all ways for a jam game. I played on a mouse and keyboard and I was kind of surprised at how functional it was, I wasn't having any issue with the platforming. The music is great, everything stood on its own well and all the transitions were excellently handled. The game was beautiful--honestly, I can very very little fault with it. Wonderful work!

Harkonnen Daily by asfdfdfd 2023-01-10T20:34:55Z

Solid little game! Love seeing 3D in a game jam. The audio did a great job of setting the right atmosphere and the pace was solid so I never got bored. Good work!

Flavors of Victory by Kyrio 2023-01-09T23:36:57Z

@artofluba Sorry about that! Give it another shot, it should be working now!

Goblin Sylvester the Mighty Harvester by Shess 2023-01-27T16:37:57Z

LOVED it! It's always impressive to me when someone pulls off 3D in a jam, and you did it in style. The inventory management was simple but enjoyable, and I loved the pacing of the whole thing. Walking just a bit slower really gave it an excellent vibe. Wonderful work!

Fox Puppies Want Food For The Winter by Lerg 2023-01-10T20:09:44Z

Beautiful art, nice music, and fun little game! I do think the goal might have been a little high and the limit on how many things you can carry made it feel a little artificially long, and I would have liked if the pumpkin guys wandering around were a little bit more dangerous, but it was still a really nice time. Great work!

I like the ideas at play and it's pretty fun! I did find myself dying very very easily but eventually got the hang of it. The sound didn't feel totally matched to the game for me, it was well-executed but a bit more dour than the game would suggest itself, but that's just my take on it. Either way, nice work!

Nice, enjoyable little adventure game! The illustrations were lovely, I would have loved to see more of them! I also encountered the same bug that kromeboy mentioned, except I could not click ahead so I had to restart, but I was happy to do so since it was a nice time. Good work!

My favorite game of the jam I've played so far, it felt totally complete and well-considered. Art was gorgeous and it's surprising how much juice there is in the core loop for fun, I especially liked being able to change the position of the powerups at will so I could try to optimize my apple/pear dropping machine. My only nitpick is that I wish it was a little easier to telegraph where the wind might be going so it didn't just always wipe out my fruit, but instead just forced me to drop it at different angles. But honestly, that's a small gripe, the game is wonderful. Excellent work!

Astral Aberration by ModdingMachine 2023-01-23T19:48:38Z

Really fun stuff! I appreciated the contrast in the space floating scenes and the more straightforward shooter segements. I occasionally encountered some glitchiness in the controls, mostly weird erratic shaking, but nothing that caused me to lose so it wasn't a big deal. Great work on the music too, nice entry!

Oh yeah, a visual novel entry, cool! Props to you for doing that, unexpected but nice! The story itself was solid! The art turned out pretty well, but I'll admit I'm always extremely skeptical about the use of AI art. I'm also not entirely sure how it relates to the theme, aside from the very brief mention of a harvest...but I had a good time, thanks for submitting this!

A silly joke, but that's not a bad thing, as it was pretty well-done for what its supposed to be! The shooting mechanics actually worked pretty well, I had a fun time with it. The opening felt too at first, then I just started laughing and I realized that's definitely the pace it should be moving at. Nice work!

Impressive given how quickly you put it together! I do wish instructions were just a bit more clear, but that's to be expected given the time you had. Nice work!

What a lovely little game! Loved the illustrations, it pulled off minimalism extremely well. Everything about it felt very slick, really nice work!

Techno Plants by morpheyz 2023-01-10T16:06:20Z

Really fun game! Simple but really well implemented and satisfying. The whole thing had an excellent feel to it. The track was good and the art was a great match to the subject matter, great work all around!

This was a fun time! I liked how the music got more discordant and wacky as things got out of control. The controls were super tight and comfortable. Good work!

Gummy Gobs by Kirsten-Lee 2023-01-23T18:40:45Z

Excellent work! Wonderful polish, all the art and music gelled well together, the whole thing was a total joy. Really great entrance!

Harvest of Life by schnodelfactory 2023-01-10T18:41:47Z

I'm a sucker for any kind of nontraditional art style, this was right up my alley. The music was great, though I'll say that I didn't love the other sound design, particularly in the living room. I also had some trouble figuring out how to finish the game, I tried out every option but it didn't seem like I was advancing, aside from the job interview popping up. I really enjoyed a different sort of take on theme though, overall nice work!

Cute little snake game! I love the little detail with the idle animation on the people as they wait to be picked up (and how they move in the line!). Really clever use of the video as interface too, it's a solid game that's well-executed, I had fun!

Big Broccoli by Tevin 2023-01-23T19:57:38Z

Solid little game, nice execution of a classic idea! I liked the difficulty curve, it was tough but it doesn't throw you straight off the deep end so you get the chance to ease into it. Good work!
