Thank you game devs. Because of this game, I now have a degree in nuclear physics from the University Arstotzka. But in all seriousness, this was fun and made me thoroughly rage (in a good way lol). Love the aesthetic, laughed out loud from the intro, tried and failed gloriously to make a nuke. Top marks!

Really interesting mechanics i like them, i enoyed your game dude good job !

Ha! Really nice! Not that i expected anything less from @fluffy-kaeloky , but this is the kind of thing that i really appreciate in Ludum Dare. Creative game mechanics that makes you try over and over until you finally get it.
The graphics are top notch, and while it's a bit hard sometimes to fit the parts together, it is part of the challenge. The clues are cleverly "hidden", and it's easy to graps what the game expects you to do. However, to do that it's a challenge.
I'm just disappointed that the radio didn't play frenchcore, but i can't even take points away in audio for that as you opted out.
Anyway, outstanding job guys. You just set the bar really high.
@derek-volker Thank you for your awesome comment, really warms my heart :')
Also, yeah, next time I'll try to put Frenchcore again x)

For a ludum dare this felt quite complex, I really appreciated the decals on the walls from the posters to the white board it made the environment feel very alive. The plush soviet symbol was also cute.

Feels polished right from the start. I found it a bit hard to rotate the pieces in the way I wanted, but otherwise I found the game mechanic to be fun! Great voice acting and the 3D models makes for a cool atmosphere. Well done!
Only after playing it did I notice there were controls for rotating the objects, reading the description first would've been a good idea...
The game itself was fun though, really made me feel like an expert building an actual nuclear bomb, even if Unity physics made things a little funky at times :p
It took me a few tries to get 100/100, I probably couldn't have been able to do it without the end message telling what went wrong, so that was a very helpful addition!
I also really liked that dirty lens effect when looking at bright lights! Great work
Interesting take on the theme. Its super complex for such a short game jam, nice work!
This was a really fun game. The graphics are appealing, and the Russian music playing over me accidentally nuking myself for the seventh time in the row was very amusing. Props to the inclusion of controller support. In addition, the main game play mechanic is both fun to use to solve the puzzles, and fun to mess around with (slamming the hammer into the guys face while he chats with me was a lot of fun, though I wish he would respond). The physics are a little finicky, and sometimes things don't respond like they're meant to (I had the radio go under the map while trying to smash it with a hammer). Other than that, this game was a lot of fun.
@proxy-games I had the idea to make the russian guy respond to a hammer to the face, but just didn't have enough time nor the voicelines ready to implement it x)
Glad you liked the game ! :)

I forgot the potato.

My friend was playing it while I watched and was laughing hysterically the whole time. It would just be like "Klunk" and then screen goes white. It killed me every time.
This was hilarious.
I thought the potato was just a side joke, so I shoved it in the compartment with the orb and continued. I got it done, but the potato triggered the bomb when I tried to move it, so I started over and got to the same point, but that time around the potato shot out before I could get the whole machine into the finisher. So I decided to give up and just finish it. Then I realized the potato actually is used, lol
(I did get 100/100 after that, nice game!)
PS: I'm sad the lamps have no collision, I would have loved it if I could fly up and perch there (I got the flying part down)
"And Russian voicelines spoken by a French guy after translating in English !" I don't think you could sell it better. It adds a lot of charm to the game. But did you check with a russian speaking person to know if it's understandable?
As for the game, game's mechanics are clearly not for me (I'm not that patient or tactful with physics) but the mood is really nice.
@concker-88 The guy who did the voice lines does speak Russian and French as well, so while I can't ensure that they 100% mean the same as the subtitles, they should still be valid.

Nice game, feels the spirit of МАЗЕР РАША. But yeah, didn't knew how to end the game without blowing youself up!
@hori Thanks for the comment ! To finish the game, you can deposit the bomb assembly at the machine at the back of the room, along with the shell of the bomb, and press the button to finalize the assembly. (This is explained by a voiceline once you have fitted about 4 or 5 pieces together) The machine will take the bomb assembly once you have assembled at least 3 pieces.
Excellent work! Really nice execution and atmosphere, the puzzle was just the right amount of hard for a dumb dumb like me! My only real criticism is that sometimes the physics got annoying when I felt like I had an idea and I just wanted to try putting two things together, only for the clumsiness of the ordeal to slow me down, which is when that kind of goofy physics becomes less fun. Even so, still great fun! +1 for the voice acting and for the radio responding to player location!
This looks super fun! Any chance of a mac build?

Managed to finish it! I really like the atmosphere, the desaturated graphics nicely contrasted with the glow of the core. I think that the dialogue was hilarious and combined with the real stress I've felt in my 5th attempt it really made me feel like I was there in the bunker. I think it would be nice to have more options, though, like some scrap parts laying around. Also, the light flicker was a bit too intensive in my opinion (happened a bit too often).
@nratcliff Heyo, I just made the mac build. It's untested due to, well, a lack of Macs to test it. Please let me know if you run into any issues, especially with the shaders, as they tend to break with new builds. Thank you !
@fluffy-kaeloky Works like a charm! Nice work

So I put the green glowing thingy inside the green box, and broke the clock. Then I spent about 10 minutes running around getting nowhere, unable to figure out what to do. Got frustrated, ran to the explosive thing in a box and yeeted it against the wall. The most satisfying rage quit I ever had. 5/5

P.S.: I died by the way
ok, the beginning was a bit difficult, took me some time to figure out what had to be done, but the screenshots on this page got me on track, I only noticed the shecmatic was explaining what to do after completing my second bomb just to get the 100% completion. First time around I *accidentaly* yeeted the hammer too hard, and it glithed into the wall, near the ceiling before eventually falling on the other side... at least the hammer got out of this room, it might be enjoying a nice drink on the beach by now, who knows ? Apart from that the controls were a bit tedious to use to get he near perfect match in rotation needed for a few of the pieces, and well, the physic was... quite unstable to say the least, but I guess this fits the theme :p
PS: the potato is very hard to find, a bit too much imo, at least there was the clue on the whiteboard, even if I was looking for sugar instead, and thought that was what I found when I found the potato, before the subtitles told me otherwise
