The first thing I saw when downloading the game...Only 3MB?The Idea is great, the game is fun, also the health UI is AMAZING.Would love to see a bigger and better version of this game.10/10

corbeng 2021-04-26 03:23

Great swinging grapple mechanic! Also good visual communication of health without needing UI. One thing, the hazard sign at the start doesn't make me want to go down there immediately (although I did eventually). At first I thought this was just a tutorial level and I had to get the grapple hook to the finish. Didn't immediately realize what cargo I needed to bring. Overall great work!

Fun game, I like the physics. I found the limited view kind of frustrating. Maybe you could drop flares as you go so you'd be able to see already visited areas a bit better? It relies a bit much on memorization for my tastes right now. Best I did was 3 packages.

audiobusting 2021-04-26 13:14

I like how well thought out this is. It's neat how the down and up trips loop into each other, and as a whole it doesn't feel as repetitive as I was expecting. Cool level design too  I find it quite difficult, so it will take some time for me to finish the game!

andrewkennedy 2021-04-26 15:01

This game gave me Solar Jetman vibes. I was able to get the second package, but kept dying to the laser robots on my attempts to find the third one. Good work!

Great game, all this in 48 hours is a great achievement, congrats!

chensu 2021-04-26 23:36

Love the art style and the particle systems, it's perfect!

macdoom 2021-04-26 23:39

Loved the grapple mechanics and the light for going down but not up. Well thought! Super fun

pierre-morreel 2021-04-27 10:12

I managed to softlock myself by a turret pushing infinitely the grapple :( besides the concept and the physics have a potential to develop more mechanics to it !

silkworm-sweatshop 2021-04-27 21:07

Flying and swinging the ball felt really satisfying. Physics seem on point too and I like the lighting effects.

kohonens 2021-04-27 22:02

very nice, I liked the red encroaching from the edge of the screen as you got more damage.

Nice gameplay idea and visuals, also, the physics feels natural and fun.

fabighindaru 2021-04-29 14:27

I really loved the way the game starts. At first I thought I did something wrong, but then I realized, wait... I had to fall.

The graphics and physics were also really nice (although a bit too floaty in my opinion :) )

Other than that, it was really nice. Good job man!

titaninette 2021-04-29 15:18

I liked the idea of learning the level when you have nothing to deliver, and then do the reverse path with it, with low light. Very nice concept!

I just found it hard to handle. Had difficulties to pass wall of boxes.

Great job!

thegreenworm 2021-04-29 15:19

The physics are great, I loved it when I blew up a mine with a box.

The plain background, physics controls and narrow field of vision combined makes it nearly impossible to judge velocity. I felt like I would've enjoyed the game more without the narrow field of vision. The drone rotor sfx gets old pretty quick, but the other sfx where great. Good job :)

blackopsben 2021-04-29 15:25

I was about to quit playing because it seemed so broken, before I realized I was SUPPOSED to go down that pit with the warning sign. I thought I just had to get my ball/chain thing to touch the delivery and avoid falling into pits. lol! I would have liked the control to be more responsive. It feels sluggish. I like the look of it though!

dandeleon 2021-04-29 15:29

The concept of the game is very neat with the light dropping once you collected the package! Like @deepinthewoods mentioned the flare idea was also what came into my mind immediately. Also it would be nice to have some things like places to heal or checkpoints. Maybe even just new levels? As it is cool to have to retrace your steps in the dark but after the third time it kind of wears of and becomes repetitive instead. Also think that the controls could be slightly faster and snappier to give the player more momentum in the game without changing the difficulty. Overall great job!

gilborn 2021-04-29 15:31

Looks like you hoped for the theme "delivery" ;-)

Cool little game, I liked how you indicated damage with light and particle systems. The puzzles due to mines and lasers are fine, although because of small sight, its sometimes try and error. This got at the and a bit frustrating, because you always have to get the whole way back.

But overall, a nice game with interesting game mechanics and good physics :-)

lisyarus 2021-04-30 16:21

Really nice concept, has a lot of potential! I'd say controls need a bit of work: the left-right movement felt painfully slow to me, and I didn't initially realize that you need to keep pressing the up key (as opposed to just hold it) in order to move up, so I spent several minutes really frustrated about what am I supposed to do. Anyways, good job!

borderdestroyer 2021-05-01 20:57

I really liked the idea of this game, especially the difficulty of it. It's a pretty challenging game, but not to the point where it seemed unfair, more of an "oh yeah that was there, how dumb of me". Great work all in all! The art style, while minimalistic, is super nice looking!

substain 2021-05-04 06:48

Cool idea, but I found it a bit too slow/hard to move.

james-macgill 2021-05-13 05:08

Took a little too long to work out that I should keep tapping up rather than just holding it. After that... way more fun. Nice physics mechanics with good sense of weight.

ptb-op 2021-05-15 09:09

Nice concept. Say, this game could really use a light switches that are being placed at certain depths or that the places that are lit once are always lit, or maybe a light on the top of the drone, because I found it frustrating to be lucky to dodge a trap, only to hit it on the way back up. Also could really use better controls. Good compo game Nonetheless.
