hello. your web build isn't working, you have to rebuild your game but instead of naming the export with your game's name, try to name it "index". this should generate an index.html file which is what the website is expecting. also make sure your files are in a .Zip files and not .Rar or somthing else.

also consider providing a windows build so that at least you have a playable build if nothing else works. best of luck

This is a really cool idea. Adding a real time puzzle element to a platformer is very innovative. I love music and was able to catch some of those cues. The ones I couldn't catch I learned through trial and error. Good work!

Nice job with this! I love the theme of the game and the little bits of humor. I love how you mapped each key to a musician in the orchestra and have them play when you press each key, brilliant! It was also fun to try to just progress as fast as possible, but definitely a little frustrating having the controls change on you, perhaps during a jump, etc. But overall I really liked this, nice job!

Nice graphics! The game is a bit frustrating, but it could work fine with maybe some more obvious clues to guess the control scheme when it changes. Some issues with collisions but with so little time to debug that's usual ^^

You really should add some checkpoints pretty frequently in the level. As with your concept you may end up in a situation where you can die pretty unfairly because of bad luck, it's a bit too frustrating to have to start all over again.

Good job anyway!

Interesting concept, but I found the changing controlls to be confusing and it didnt really add anything to the platforming as it just resulted in moving my hand to another part of the keyboard. Maybe the music can effect some other mechanic such as gravity or enemy speed/AI? Nice art too, like the theming of a mouse in an orchestra

The game is designed for high resolutions and don't work well with my 1366x768 laptop. I love the game theme and the gameplay. Mouse in a tuxedo looks adorable. Good potential for further upgrades.

misfire-dev 2022-10-05 14:11

the resolution is a bit wacky, but the graphics are adorable :D and the theme is definitely there, so good job

alks 2022-10-05 22:25

the graphics and music are very cute and nice! (I like puns :D). But I do think to the gimmick of changing controls is a bit too off putting maybe? I would be very interested in going thru the levels and just trying to find which keys to press? Anyway the idea is nice and style too! I'm still very interested what you guys will do in the future! :3

bqq 2022-10-05 22:34

Love the wacky setting! I think I found a bug where if you mash jump in the air you can keep jumping in the air (basically fly :D) might be that I missed some mechanic and this is intended. The art itself is great as well!

sheepolution 2022-10-05 22:38

Interesting idea, but the execution is lacking. I like how the wrong key plays a note instead, but there's no joy in trying to find the right keys. And when you finally found them, they change again. If the music players were colored in such way so that they correspond with a key, it could be more interesting. I do like the art, though the background could be a bit darker blend in as much with the stuff in the foreground.

Really adored the theme, graphs and music. Only thing to say is controls changing fast and they are hard to understand. But the game in general is awsome. Good job guys :)))

Really enjoyed the vibe! The controls changing along the keyboard with the music is really interesting mechanic and it felt almost like moving your hands on a piano.

I found i could have really used an onscreen visual of what the controls are or what the upcoming controls would be (kind of like sheet music i suppose!) as would spend almost the full 10 seconds trying to figure out the controls and once i had them it would change.

The concept of quickly moving your fingers to the new controls in time with the music and to keep platforming i think is really engaging but is a little hampered by the time required to figure out waht the new controls are.

All in all the whole thing really feels put together and like a complete experience. Great work for the jam! :)

substain 2022-10-06 07:31

Even with the key lookup its difficult to pull of due to non-english layouts (Y<->Z switched) and unforgiving traps/enemies. Also found out you can sometimes keep jumping after touching collectibles. Spend way too much trying to beat the first level, but only got a score of 79 (not sure how close I was). All in all, great concept, nice visual style and a cool level design :)

venfola 2022-10-06 09:31

Nice aesthetics, cool concepts but I think you should have displayed the controls in game instead to have to open the pause menu, as I would have never seen it without reading the game description.

The collisions are very buggy which makes the game hard to play.

mikropiru 2022-10-10 07:20

Interesting take on the theme! The changing control scheme makes it quite challenging but luckily it's not too hectic (at least in the beginning) for one to grasp the new buttons again.

The graphics are impressive, especially considering the tight schedule of the jam! The mouse character looks really nice.

I had some trouble with the controls, though. I seemed to get stuck on objects sometimes or otherwise having small glitches with the character's movement. (I played the browser version.) With some polishing there playing could be more enjoyable still.

mrbamboo 2022-10-12 23:21

Oh so nice game ! The music changing making the keyboard control change is soooo creative !

guardaro 2022-10-15 13:26

Nice entry! Love the art, love the music, love the humor (Ratmaninoff!!!). The core mechanic (the controls change unexpectedly every 10 seconds) was actively unfun for me, but it's a cool idea. Getting a visual indication of the upcoming controls a second or two in advance would probably make a big difference--it would be "can I skillfully maneuver to the upcoming control scheme" instead of "can I mash around until I randomly figure out how to move". Good work!

whenyoucantfindafriend 2022-10-16 16:08

Great Job! I love the graphics and the music theme! I noticed a spelling error in the instructions. Also, Maybe find a the full version of the minuet for the beginning? The clipping is a little awkward for it I think.

Game play is fun and I love how the keyboard controls the orchestra in the background. Its a little difficult to figure out what keys to use for the controls. Also, the mouse's nose kept getting caught under the floating platform. Maybe adjusting the hit box for the main character would help? But Overall great job and interesting take on the theme!
