LD52 — Harvest

Infernal Garden by publicidadeba 2023-01-10T21:27:29Z

Fun and very polished!

Click On Fish by Pomo 2023-01-11T04:45:47Z

A lot more fun than I expected from the name. The dog fish are tricky!

LD53 — Delivery

Parcel Blaster 2099 by graebor 2023-05-05T08:55:32Z

Simple, polished, and addictive. This is a really fun take on the delivery theme. It's well designed - the car's velocity influencing the package's means you have to take your eyes off the road to deliver the packages effectively. Very well done. As others have said, this wouldn't look out of place as is in an app store.

Delivery Rock by geck0 2023-05-06T02:38:40Z

Funny game. About as pure "delivery" as a game can get! I wish I had read the instructions to *hold* E to gather... would have saved me a lot of headache. Well done!

Haitatsu Delivery Technologies by ghost-in-the-toast 2023-05-05T08:11:05Z

Very nice art style! And it's cool to hear voice acting in a jam game. In addition to what others have said, the character getting stuck in the same direction for the entirety of the jump can lead to some annoying situations when fighting the flying bugs. Still, it was a cool experience and very well-made.

A Town in Labor by EvoGenGames 2023-05-08T02:43:49Z

Very unique and cool. I think this type of game shines on levels about spatial reasoning where the flow can be visualized, like the west wind one. The final level is pretty tedious, since there's no real way to discern the path they'll take from a given cell - it's just trial and error, which I didn't find very fun. Trying to read the formulae in those cells to figure out what's being affected is also tedious due to the game grid not lining up with Excel's. However, the first four levels (the middle three, really) were a lot of fun and an interesting way to make a game. Well done!

30-second Deliveries by Sebastian-M 2023-05-04T00:09:24Z

This was fun. It brings back memories of the cannon minigame on ToonTown so many years ago. I'd suggest refining the cannon controls (if yaw only wrapped around once, the player would have more precise control) and letting the player use a free camera so they don't get their vision blocked by a tall building. The ragdoll bounces are a lot of fun - gives you a reason to think about whether you want to use pitch or power!

Schooled by arron-fowler 2023-05-03T07:55:34Z

The way you managed to make the game look this good, and the world feel so alive, with *a bunch of cubes* is incredible. The fluid animations on the fish and birds are lifelike. Very well done!

Broken News by Noobot9k 2023-05-08T03:59:42Z

Fun and simple. The blood effects were a nice touch, and the gameplay loop is fun - having to think about both dodging cars and hitting targets is a challenge. Nice game!

Morse Messanger by Alexander Tan 2023-05-02T08:55:33Z

Very fun. The frustration of messing up the last letter and having to redo the word added a lot to the experience (and the play time) - I'm glad it was designed that way.

Ganymede Shipping Company by kypello 2023-05-03T09:28:36Z

Fun! Perfect for the theme, like a 3D version of *Papers, Please*. I had a great time playing.

Wow, this was really impressive. Just what I saw on my first run would have been great for a 3-day jam, but there's so much more as you get deeper into it, especially the maps. Great experience overall. There's one thing that definitely needs fixing: the arrows don't seem to track the mouse when it gets to the edges of the screen, and it's compounded by the fact that you can't rotate the camera to get enemies in the center so you can be accurate. It can be frustrating until you get enough armor and bow speed to calibrate how much your shots are off by. But other than that, this is a crazy amount of stuff to squeeze out of 3 days. Very well done.

Cool idea for a game! The physics-based element is a nice addition that I haven't seen before in these types of games. It would be great if there was more depth to using the physics system than "sometimes boxes fall off the conveyor belt and it's annoying to get them back on". Also, I didn't understand why the volatile containers were marked on the label but the cursed ones weren't. It seems there's no reason to check whether a box is in the yellow zone because it will already have said on the label. I really like the basic concept here, and with more complexity and polish this would be something I could see myself playing for a long session.

Delivery of Duty: Same Shift Different Package by Surfa 2023-05-02T19:11:35Z

Worth replaying once you learn you can squish enemies for more points. This takes me back to Heli Wars: Desert Attack from the old Roblox days.

Alchemist Assembly by MisterIXI 2023-05-03T02:43:54Z

This is very impressive to make in just 3 days! The best logistics game I've seen so far. I would suggest adding some QOL features (escape to exit menus), but other than that it was great to play. Well done!

GobEx by WeirdBitGames 2023-05-05T11:45:44Z

This was fun! The music and the goblin sounds are great, and it's easy to zone out and realize you've been playing for a few minutes on autopilot. It does seem to slow down a bit around 5 minutes in, especially if you're in fullscreen. Other than that, very nice game - the art fits the concept perfectly.

Snail Mail by rkeele 2023-05-06T00:23:09Z

Simple but polished. This could be a full mobile game already. My one recommendation is to make the success and failure sounds more distinct - especially with the music playing, it can be hard to discern them.

Dough on the go by Heuser 2023-05-03T00:22:32Z

The balance between the vespa and the car weights is perfect - it forces you to be careful on more crowded roads. The camera tracking needs work, though.

Adam Offline by AnkuDey 2023-05-03T04:34:27Z

Really cool concept. In its current state, it seems like the only viable strategy for hitting 10M fast is running food to Mainville/Mareville from NewToolVille since the difference is so large. I'd like to see the Inn tips affect prices more - whatever they were doing, it was dwarfed by the effectiveness of the food strategy. I hope you develop this into a full release - the foundation here is already very fun, and more complexity would only make it better!

Goblin Delivery Inc. by The Hat Guy 2023-05-06T09:00:40Z

It's fun to manage the goblins once you get a few. The biggest issue is not being able to direct one to a house where another one is standing - when you have 7 goblins, almost every place you need to send them to already has one on it. Besides that, it was a fun, very polished experience.

Critter Courier by Lola Linuesa 2023-05-06T00:37:32Z

Really nice. This is a lot of content for a 3-day jam! I think it could be improved with some way to turn the camera, as some of the building signs are hard to read from the default angle. I had a great time playing.

CQB drone trials by Tnnv 2023-05-03T10:30:36Z

A fun puzzle experience! The reasoning, especially on level 3, was very satisfying. At first I disliked only being able to look through the cameras, but by the end I'd started to appreciate it. There is a bug with the Continue button but it's easy to circumvent by going to the main menu. I hope we get an expanded version of this sometime down the road!

Corporal Pigeon by YamDaddy 2023-05-06T00:52:17Z

The graphical style was cool, but the gameplay doesn't seem to work very well. Just one explosive (often outside the camera's view) starts an endless loop of getting knocked down because of how long it takes to get up and the lack of a dodge.
