hahah cool idea! nice gameplay! go on!!
Very fun concept
This was fun. It brings back memories of the cannon minigame on ToonTown so many years ago. I'd suggest refining the cannon controls (if yaw only wrapped around once, the player would have more precise control) and letting the player use a free camera so they don't get their vision blocked by a tall building. The ragdoll bounces are a lot of fun - gives you a reason to think about whether you want to use pitch or power!
I got 10 satified customers! Cool game and idea. I really liked the music. Yes, it's way better to undershoot. I just wish camera controls were smoother while airborne, so I'd know which way to run after. Other than that, well done!
Really fun game! Trajectory was a little wonky at times, assuming it was supposed to roughly follow the red projected arc, but the idea is fun and original and the music was great.
Really cool take on the theme. I got pretty good at it relatively quickly. I think the Yaw is a bit too sensitive, and a slightly more top-down angle would help too. Nice work.
Really fun game the arrow on the bottom of the cannon is a really smart idea!
Cool game. Direct makes you really think, and not just play. I'm interested, how did you manage to make the mechanics of a shot from a cannon, like in reality? Honestly, you can learn physics from this game. If you decide to finish it, it will most likely be a plus. And so great work!) But did I understand correctly that the topic is supposedly about helping a person to a particular house?
A really fun game to play. The music fit perfectly. The camera got wonky at times. Overall, great job! :)
Funny Game. I found the cannon controls a bit wonky and sometimes I not able at all to aim at the target, because it was outside my range of yaw. Still had alot of fun with it :)
This is so fun! Sometimes it's hard to aim on far targets. Anyway it's interesting.
Interesting game concept, a human cannonball courier was a fun idea!
I only managed 5 deliveries as my record, it seemed that unlucky rng can mean that the landscape can obscure the destination, making it hard to aim the later deliveries. Perhaps mouse controls for the cannon would have made it a bit faster to "reorient" yourself between deliveries.
I enjoyed the music, it matched the frantic gameplay well.
Interesting game, it was fun to see an innovative idea for the method of locomotion for deliveries.
Love the concept! My main issue as others have said was that not being able to see the target because of bad luck was a little frustrating since I couldn't judge how far away it was. But the core here is great!
What a fun game! The ragdoll effect was great. My highscore was 7.
Seriously one of the bests I have played so far. Congradulations, well done
What a fun idea! A perfect jam game, I can imagine all the extra polish and personality that you could put into this with more time. I wasn't very good, but had a lot of fun being bad at it. I would have appreciated just a little freedom to adjust the pitch of the camera when aligning my cannon, though not too much because I think that's part of the challenge. I also found the mouse controls too sensitive for my liking. FYI, the game didn't seem to load in Firefox, but I used Edge instead.
I didn't read the description so I was horrified when I saw I launched a person and then started controlling them lol! The first delivery was set a little tight and the yaw controls were hard to be precise with but overall a really fun idea. I had a great time with it and the humor was on point!
Very interesting idea, I had fun watching the ragdoll fly all across the map! I only have two gripes with this one, the first one is that it's a little hard to tell where the package will end after launch. This wouldn't be an issue if timer didn't start as soon as the package is launched because the package can bounce off multiple times, wasting time in a way I couldnt have forseen. Also it annoyed me that the camera was inverted while the ragdoll was flying, it's not a big complained, it just annoyed me, I managed to accept it and live with it. Still a decent game, great job!
Great concept, it started out fairly fun but I started to get motion sick with how sensitive the camera and aiming controls were as well as how the camera would shake all around when flying through the air.
A few recommendations: You could use arrows that you click and hold to aim the cannon, with a few different speeds. Besides not having the fit all 360 degrees in the slider this would also allow you to continue spinning it the same direction, I ran into a situation where I wanted to rotate more the left but I was at the end of the slider so I had to move it all the way to the other side. And the pitch slider would have been good to be vertical.
I would also generally caution against using words like yaw and pitch. For a game jam like this it's fine, most of us know what that means and they aren't super uncommon words to begin with but if you publish a full game using words like that a good chunk of your audience won't know what that means.
Interesting and funny game! I like the design. It was good to play
Nice and fun game! 6 deliveries is my record ))
Message to whomever made the sound track: You made me remember Sonic Adventure DX -> Emerald Coast track which I love. I think it's a very fun concept shooting a dude with cannon. Definitely not a game to play with trackpad (very hard to adjust the sliders) I'd like to have some skill that dropped me down in midair, or made me less bouncy! Very nice entry gj!
Very addictive! It was fun learning how to use the cannon effectively, firing short and trying to find buildings to act as backstops so I would come to a stop and start running earlier.
The whole game was well done. If I had to recommend the next steps I would suggest making running more interesting - adding ledges, steps, and jumps so you have to do a little pathfinding.
I'd also suggest building the city on an island with insta-kill/insta-reset water on the outside to deliver the overshoot penalty immediately, instead of forcing the player to spend a few seconds doing a boring run in a straight line. Hopefully, that wouldn't affect your game when played well, but would make beginners lives a bit easier.
I played 3 runs and managed to get 11 deliveries in my last one!
Greate game but wish controller would be more handy
Very fun aiming game! I like the combined gameplay of it all—the time limit puts the pressure on to not spend too long perfectly adjusting the cannon, but there's still lots of incentive to spend the time aiming well so you have to spend less time running the rest of the way. I wish the ragdolls had a little less bounce, as I felt incentivized to shoot in certain ways to minimize the bounce before I actually gained control and could run the rest of the way. My only other desire is that I wish there were keyboard controls for the cannon adjustments, as adjusting the sliders with the mouse was a bit awkward. WASD for yaw/pitch, and then maybe Q and E for power? Overall great job though!
Oh, the other thing I wanted to mention is that I would have probably made the beacon for delivery location stand out a bit more. Maybe some glow or it's pulsing or something? Just so it's a bit more obvious (and looks cooler) as I'm swinging around.
