This could become a nice little game here. The art is gorgeous, the music is great, having the narration inside the game screen is smart. The gameplay in itself is a bit too hard, the purple monster shoots a bit too fast and the repulsiveness is a bit too powerful. But overall nice work.
Beautiful art and a very good design. I love the fact that age is what drives the difficulty. Great idea and execution.

I liked the concept of aging and the catchy song, keep up the good work, i would suggest you if you can try next time to use Unity, you can do a smaller build and port it to web easly, (and its really friendly to develop a 2d game).
I didnt know that space was an attack... looked more like a reflect, and didnt have enough feedback for when im actually damaging the Egs.
The art and story was decent, and the game scaled well

Amazing artwork! The scrolling story at the beginning made me laugh a bit! And I liked the progressing music alongside the progressing age and artwork, that was interesting. The furthest I was able to get was 70, but then at one playthrough I was able to knock an enemy into the abyss in the black and wasn't able to beat the level
I really want to know what happens after 95 but I'm just to slow :sweat_smile:
Graphics are great and the bg music and sounds are great too. I was only missing some visual feedback for my HP - or did I miss an UI element? Also I was having a hard time because I couldn't see the enemies behind the speechbubble of ZARBROX THE AGELESS.
Overall very good entry! I had lots of fun playing it :) good job!
Holy frick, i didnt expect much from the thumbnail and the very long name of this game, but it was amazing i reeally reaally liked it, it has a lot of potential great sounds and awesome story.
I love the art style and the story :) Really cool concept with getting weaker and weaker. It looks like there is no hp bar, which is fine, but I guess I got used to having one that it feels weird without one :) Great job!
I really enjoyed this little game. I think its a really nice simple concept, I'd love to see something like this implemented with a more complex system. I love the art and the simple arena. I like how it tells its simple story very quickly though simply game play. Solid Entry!
@Bea thank you! Yes we had some much bolder plans about a complex system on the first day! Things went as you might expect
@zimny11 Thanks for the feedback, the missing HP bar wasn't intentional, I just forgot to put it on the final to-do list, we realised right after publishing the final game... then again, we were pretty tired and we might have screwed it up

Love the visuals and concept as a whole. I do wish you added something that I could choose to continue to the next level because I feel like I was being rushed to read your flavor text of me getting older.
Love the main character's cute walk anim. Found this pretty hard, wish my dude was a bit quicker to help dodge out of the way.
