Getting a dropbox error while trying to download. "Error (500)"

I liked the simplistic yet good art, however it was a bit slow and the controls just didn't feel right for some reason...I liked the style of the game a lot though!

I couldn't get this to run. I changed the path to point to java on my machine (I don't have it in the path), but still got an exception:

Very good.

It takes a bit to get use to shooting left and right since the spoon is above you, but after that it's a solid entry. Nice art too.

Nice work. I felt like there were too many enemies in each room since they take multiple hits to kill. Maybe reduce the enemies or make them one shot kills?

binarybot 2015-04-22 10:09

Yeah, it doesn't run for me either. :/

I really liked the character and animations, especially the side-view walk animation. It would be great if the spoon did damage getting back as well.

You have to install Java 8 to run it

hambone88 2015-04-23 21:40

Java exception

keddelzz 2015-04-23 21:45

kuchenkruste is right! @RoryD and @Mixer, the game requires you to run it with Java 8!

ld_lan_party 2015-04-23 22:04

Game would not work for me. Says unsupported major and minor version

themeorch 2015-04-23 22:09

This was fun. I really liked the enemy sprites. It's cool how the spoon will come back to you even when you move after shooting it, but I wish it dealt damage when returning to you as well, since that would allow fun trick shots.

crazyheckman 2015-04-23 22:09

You should try packaging it up, running a shell script to play a game is a lot of hassle.

langouste 2015-04-28 16:01

Super game! I love it, thanks ;)

ciderpunk 2015-05-07 14:15

It's like the binding of Isaac with a spoons!

lonestranger 2015-05-08 02:44

I kept wanting to fire diagonally, but other than that, the controls didn't seem too bad. You only had one level, but it seems like you had a solid base to work from. I could imagine an action-puzzler type game coming out of this.
