LD25 — You are the Villain

Burglar by Manuel777 2012-12-19T21:18:00

Not really a bug that impacts the game too terribly much, but you can jump while falling after walking off a ledge to get sort of a double-jump, which doesn't make much sense.

LD27 — 10 Seconds

Gravity Spy by PaidGEEK 2013-08-27T01:01:00

Very nice how polished this game is. Found it really difficult to wrap my head around the controls until I figured pressing left and right corresponded to clockwise and and counter-clockwise around the surface. Once I got the hang of it, it got much more fun.

Lost in Dimensions by intripoon 2013-08-26T22:45:00

Pretty good game. I liked having to figure out what is going on in the room quickly before the next shift. I didn't get at first that it would eventually stop shifting, so I just kinda sat around waiting before realizing it was more than 10 seconds and I needed to restart the level. Nice overall, though

101 Tiles 10 Seconds by matpg 2013-08-27T23:35:00

I really like how the challenge of this game comes from it being almost an optical illusion. Fun and simple.

glitchme.exe by Sos 2013-08-28T00:13:00

Hahaha, I didn't expect the title to be so literal! Very nice visuals and sense of speed. I liked it a lot.

Capitall by the.vaber 2013-08-27T17:29:00

Good idea, liked the difficulty and having to develop a good strategy to reach the greed pad in time.

10 second test by echa 2013-08-27T00:09:00

I really liked all the levels in this game. Feel like I got through a couple of the harder puzzles by spamming xor gates, but overall I really liked how challenging it got to stay in the time limit.

Phase Warrior by CogComp 2013-08-27T17:21:00

Really liked the concept of the game, don't think I've seen anything like it. Hectic fun!

Quartz by Vavassor 2013-08-26T16:56:00

I initially used jarsplice and didn't include the natives for non-windows by accident, hence the link error on non-windows OS's. The current version ought to work.

Quartz by Vavassor 2013-08-27T18:32:00

Yeah, I kinda offered a lot of controls because I knew you would have to move, jump, and use the intangibility thing all at the same time which can be awkward, so it seemed like it was better to give people choice to find something comfortable. Maybe that was unnecessary, though.

Quartz by Vavassor 2013-08-29T02:48:00

Regarding ghosting while jumping: basically when I had it work that way there wasn't anything to prevent you from jumping while inside a wall and you could use it to glitch through walls and floors. I know its kinda annoying to ghost too early and have it cut short your jump arc, but I didn't figure out a good way to fix it in time.

Tourmaline by NMcCoy 2013-08-27T17:35:00

Nice simple game, really liked the movement mechanics! Also incredibly impressed with the dynamic music, it sounds great.

Xyloctopus by iterative deepening 2013-08-27T22:59:00

Looks gorgeous and the idea is really cool. I wish the controls weren't so sluggish, but it works well enough. Great work!

gl10s by ivo 2013-08-27T02:09:00

definitely interesting and unusual. like how abstract it is!

Ten Seconds of Thrust by flarb 2013-08-27T17:05:00

Liked the art and idea, just wish I had gotten to play more of it due to that level change bug.

Broken Road by Back to Browse Entries 2013-08-27T17:14:00

neat little game here, kept me playing for a good while

10 Seconds of Grey by Almax27 2013-08-27T18:48:00

Absolutely fantastic art and really enjoyed the concept. Wasn't sure at first if it looped but I figured since new conversation topics weren't popping up that it did. Fun goofy dialogue.

PROBE TEAM by Andrew Shouldice 2013-08-27T01:47:00

Everything about this game is so nice and polished. Liked all the silly writing and the visual style and just the overall personality of the game. Pretty much the only fault I even noticed was the audio got choppy when a lot of probes were onscreen making noises but that is pretty trivial. Great work!

exposure by zillix 2013-08-28T01:34:00

Really fantastic art and concept! I especially liked the perspective and the little details like the footprints in the sand and such. The theme wasn't incorporated super well but other than that I can't think of much to complain about. Great work!

Run with the Revolution by local minimum 2013-08-28T00:08:00

Had good fun with this game. It did remind me of super monkey ball and that's definitely not a bad thing! Physics were a little weird; it felt like your move speed changed a lot depending on the slope of the ground and the jumping is a little mushy. Didn't really cause me too much trouble, though, got to the end just fine.

10 Seconds to Lava by Folis 2013-08-27T18:37:00

Nice take on The Floor Is Lava, had fun with it!

Zdeno by duane.byer 2013-08-27T19:06:00

I liked the idea of it a lot but had a hard time with the movement in it. Liked the challenge and puzzle element to it.

Forward Motion by Feysoura 2013-08-27T01:19:00

Pretty fun overall but maybe borrowed too much from VVVVVV. Also the collision physics were a little wonky- if you touch a gravity reversal square while you are standing on the ground you are flipped and get stuck in the ground, also I found a laser I could stand on without dying. Great music and had fun playing!

Marrow Wind by NikB 2013-08-28T00:54:00

Really liked the mechanics and look of the game. Thought it was little weird that the 10 second timer was in real life time and not in the turn-based time, and the random boulders were a little annoying. But overall it's a pretty fun game!

00000010 by Vile Smile 2013-08-27T03:30:00

Wow, this is really fantastic! I like how goofy and fun the whole thing is. Dang specters brought back bad memories of Phanto in SMB2. Especially like the soundtack. Great work!

Et je vous laisse by Emilien Gorisse 2013-08-27T22:28:00

Really unusual and good, but I don't think it was very clear how much time was left. Loved the music.

Hadean Rampage by Zephyr89 2013-08-27T23:56:00

Real fun and I like the style a lot. I found myself dying a lot to enemies offscreen, so I guess the spawns were kinda frustrating at times. Overall pretty solid.

MumiaSnowdenManning by Pinktreeleaf 2013-08-27T22:44:00

Really enjoyed the satire in the questions. Simultaneously funny and sad how one could finish the sentences without thinking about it, just because of how common they are.

10 Seconds to Save the World by TeamAlpha 2013-08-27T22:36:00

Real simple and neat game, it controls really smoothly. Had fun with those puzzles!

Trouble In Platformville by johnfn 2013-08-27T23:30:00

Fun silly game. The 10 second theme kinda becomes completely irrelevant, but the fantastic music and visuals make up for it.

Taquito Tower by Magdev 2013-08-27T23:47:00

Delightfully weird and had me smiling with the weird enemies. Dang churro cornered me in the end. Hope this game inspires many more neo-burritocore games!

Chronic Hysteresis by Winterblood 2013-08-28T00:43:00

Really liked how the core mechanic was used in this. Died a few times when time warping on second two or one and I wasn't completely sure why. I'd definitely like to see what else you could do with the concept. Great work overall!

BECOME A GREAT ARTIST IN JUST 10 SECONDS by mcc 2013-08-27T02:44:00

I had a lot of fun with this! I was frequently surprised by how often it would go in a direction that was way cooler and different than what I was intending.

Open the box by Beerman 2013-08-27T22:50:00

Nice idea, but I wish there was something added to give it more depth and maybe make it less dependent on randomness.

LD30 — Connected Worlds

The Warehouse Connection by Jesper Oskarsson 2014-08-25T03:49:00

Oh, haha, didn't read the post first so got a bit confused by the yellow cube before finding out it was meant for multiplayer. Gonna rate later on when I can get somebody to play the rest with me!

Coral by Vavassor 2014-08-27T19:46:00

OH NO, there isn't supposed to be any strobing, it is probably showing two different things on front and back buffers and then switching between then rapidly, ughhh. I'm really sorry, that isn't supposed to happen.

Lullaby by Mase 2014-08-27T07:07:00

Love how silly and interesting this whole thing is, so many neat lil characters. I've seen your art on tumblr and it's always so amazing and unique. Good work!

Worldly Traveler by MrTedders 2014-08-25T05:06:00

Loved this whole thing! It all feels very mysterious and made me wonder

InterVersal by micdoodle8 2014-08-25T05:50:00

I enjoyed playing this, thought the rooms were pretty clever. Though there was one that kinda was more of a platformer and red bot didn't really do much? Also, the game crashes if you press the space bar while on the controls/intro screen.

Alternation by PowerSpark 2014-08-25T04:50:00

Really nice game! Impressed with how well thought-out everything felt. Had a little trouble in the first red-floored room because it was awkward having to do a weird hop move out over the pit and then switch worlds to get block to appear under you.

Waterfly Octus by gillenew 2014-08-25T04:07:00

Really loved the sprites and art in this! Nice and challenging , too. Though I had the game freeze once at the end of level 4, sound stopped playing and I couldn't move but everything was still animating?

Scrunch by mcc 2014-08-25T05:26:00

secretly, there is no lose condition, as making a bad art with the rainbow sand bottle game is not possible, there is nothing but PRETTY colors
