Nice game! I really like the style and the idea. But I must ask, is this endless or is there a way to "win"? I played it for a while and never did understand what I was really… doing in the long run.
Anyway, really nice job with the animations and the art, coding, etc. Great job for 72 hours. :)
I really like this! Nice concept of course, and the execution was great. At first I thought it was way too hard but then I got better at it and it was very fun. :D
When I got the 3rd firefly I finally realized there was a map, it made more sense. Hehe. No real glitches that I can see. Sometimes a Str would spawn on top of a rock or something but they were still collectible.
Nice graphics, didn't get to play it with sounds, though. I might try it again later.

Really nice game! I love this kind of endless, slightly-restricted type of game. I do think you should get bonus points for destroying enemies, though. It'd add more "fun" to it in my opinion.
All in all a nice and simple, yet very fun entry into LD23.
My highest score atm is 8189. Not too good, think I'll try some more. :p
I meant to say, the top right timer is counting down to tell you when you die. "Repairing" wires keeps it going.
The second score is your score, obviously.
The third is your time. ;)
Nice to hear from you, Johan. It is a bit too easy and as I said, the generation of the level needs work. I already worked out a few bugs and am going to update this game for post-LD play. Still working on it, in other words.
@De10ter: I will also tweak the controls, as I said, I rushed it out. They could use some work.

Yes, it has bugs, and no, there's no ending, and yes, the level is very short, but all in all, not bad. A fun little game and if you were to continue developing it I think it could really become something spectacular. :D
Very, very, nice! I love the concept, art style, (so simplistic!) gameplay, and the story/idea. It's great. Although I have a question. Are you supposed to be able to lose/get hurt? I played the Kongregate version and I maxed everything out, took many many bullets and my armor never went down.
Anyway, great job!

Pretty nice! The gameplay was a little choppy IMO. Thought I was shooting the enemies a lot and it was just kind of laggy. But all in all it's a solid game. I'd like to see you expand it a bit more as mdkess said.

Well, for a short and sweet game, this is pretty fun. I enjoyed it for a few minutes but it did kind of get a little boring after a while. For what it is, though, nice job. :)
I would like to see an enhanced/expanded version if you want to sort of complete it for post-LD play!

And yes, lack of time to finish it is what made it not quite as good as it could've been. Needed to fix the collisions between the candy/tomatoes too, but lack of time... ;)
Just noticed a new bug that got past me somehow. When you lose and you "play again", as soon as you collect a powerup after that you cannot jump very high at all. So it's best to refresh the page and reload the entire game to get the most out of your multiple plays… Working on fixing that bug in a new version.
Hmm, that's weird. Seems I was wrong about this bug. It was of my own doing in my post-LD project, haha. It's perfectly fine in the LD48 version above. So disregard that bug report...
Oh, very nice! Very hard, but nice game. I like the graphical style and the gameplay is fluid and addicting. I suck at it, though, haha. Simple, hard, but addicting. Solid entry into LD24.
My game had this same concept! Haha. Pretty nice game, though. Would be nice to have cooler looking graphics and a bit more to do, also in my opinion it seems a bit too... slow?

Nice little game. Really not much to do, though, but that's actually kind of okay! It means you spent more time on finishing it and making it fun than you did on thinking up great big things to put into the game and failing a bit, like I did.
I'd really love to see an expanded version of this. I think it has a lot of potential if you added more content to the game.

Interesting concept! I like the graphics and the gameplay. The generation of the level could use some work, though, as I got obviously stuck often and sometimes spawned in the middle of a cliff, haha. Still, great work. I like the little messages too. Would also like to see a post-compo version, if you think there's anything else you could put into it. ;)
